I ordered a coffee table and bedside table from this company a couple of months ago. I had a very negative experience. Everything about it was horrible. I contacted them for a delivery quote, which they gave me and I paid. While the order was on the way there was some issues with the delivery now being more expensive, I was already very nervous that this was a scam and was thrown when they requested more money. Thankfully they were kind enough to cover the extra delivery cost. However when the items arrived it was quite a shock. The items look nothing like the pictures on the website. The bedside table is completely different, different colour, different handles. When I queried this I was tol that I was supposed to specify which wood I wanted etc, this was quite frustrating to me as I literally sent them the picture of the bedside table I wanted but that was apparently not clear enough. The coffee table is an absolute disaster. The workmanship is terrible, the actual size of the coffee table was advertised as 1.5x800, the actually coffee table was 1.27x550. The sides of the wood is uneven. The wood is pulling skew and its only been 6 months. After reporting the issues in March I was partially refunded (50%) of the cost of the coffee table at the end of May, nothing for the bed side table. I didn't appreciate the interactions with the owner either, they were incoherent, made a ridiculous amount of excuses. It was really infuriating, if the issues were sorted out immediately then a whole bunch of these excuses (suppliers, business trips, couriers, executive decision making by suppliers, covid, floods) could have been avoided. I was very disappointed with each interaction I had with this company, I was let down by the quality of the products and the degree to which it differed from the product advertised and I really hope to never have to interact with them again. I wouldn't wish the experience I had on anyone and for that reason my advise would be to stay as far away from this company as possible. I know I will.
I have ordered from Pet Heaven before and up to now have had a positive experience. However with my latest order on 29/08/2022 I have had a very unpleasant experience. I was notified that my order was split, fair enough, but since then I have not received the second part of my order and have not received any communication from them within the last 11 days. I have tried numerous times to phone them, email them and whatsapp them and they have not answered any of my attempts to contact them. So now I have to borrow dog food from a friend so that the vet in town can order the dog food for me as my dogs food has now run out in the time that I have been waiting for Pet Heaven to be kind enough to respond. Very inconvenient, I was a loyal customer but won't be buying from them again.
<p>I have been a loyal Zone Fitness customer for almost 5 years. I therefore feel that I have quite a good idea and opinion on Zone Fitness Willowbridge and would like to warn customers fooled by the attempts of this gym to trick members into joining their gym due to the cheap fees.</p> <p> </p> <p>As I will be moving town I wanted to cancel my contract in time but was not sure if they required a specific notice period. So I went to the reception staff (who are the people who knows how cancelling membership works) to find out how I can go about this and SPECIFICALLY asked if there was any period of notice required to notify the gym that I will be stopping my membership. She said no they do not have a notification period and I can just email the management, Kelly, whenever I want to cancel my membership.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I let them know that I want to cancel my contract to have December as my last month of membership. Now all of a sudden I am being forced to pay an additional month because the girl in front gave me the incorrect detail. They in fact need 20 business days notice. Which is not what I was told by the receptionist. So the mistake made BY THE GYM after specifically asking them about the details now lead to me having to pay for an additional month when I won't even be living here anymore. It ****es me off that a MISTAKE MADE BY THE GYM AND NOT ME is costing me money.</p> <p> </p> <p>This people is the kind of respect that Zone Fitness has for their clients and you need to seriously ask yourself if this kind of disrespect and pettiness is the kind of gym that you want to be a member of. If they can't properly train staff then why would they in any other situation treat you with dignity and respect.</p> <p> </p> <p>Herewith a list of every other reason you don't want to gym at Zone Fitness:</p> <p>- they have terrible gym classes, they advertise them as amazing, but I have been to them they really are terrible. The pilates class is a guy who makes your slide your foot down the floor five times and then takes a breather. He literally just takes breathers, a waste of an hour of your time.</p> <p> </p> <p>- they cheat gym instructors. I have seen it happen repeatedly now and this is one of the main reasons I hate this gym. They get good instructors to come and give a class. They then have one of their own trainers attending the classes and usually about a month or two in the instructor is gone and the gyms trainer is then attempting to give the same class that they just copied from the other instructor. This is wrong on so many levels.</p> <p> </p> <p>- They have terrible airconditioning. If you like gymming in a sauna this is the place for you. It is literally warmer when walking into the gym than it is outside of it (the part of Willowbridge where they have the ticket machine). You might as well go gym in the sahara or just run outside, no difference.</p> <p> </p> <p>- They have filthy bathrooms. The womens sanitary bins hardly gets emptied. They have these large bins for sanitary towels and tampons, but you can literally smell the bins when you enter the stall. I once was brave enough to open it and found that it was full to the brim. Do you know how many used pads and tampons needs to be collected for all four of the sanitary towl bins to be filled in the four stalls. This is disgusting. It reeks. And I have found this to be the case countless times. It wasn't a problem when they still had the old management.</p> <p> </p> <p>- They are slow to fix broken down equipment</p> <p> </p> <p>- They give you false information when asked about notification periods before cancelling your membership</p> <p> </p> <p>I'm really sad that my many years of membership had to end this way. I have always treated the gym with respect. People need to be aware of the things they do to take whatever they can from you. If I were you I would not sign up with this gym, save your money, go cross fit or join planet fitness or virgin active. My family members and friends have been treated much better by them.</p>
Way back in April I ordered something on [URL Removed] first issues with things I didn't order showing up on the order, then delayed deliver, further delay in delivery and after complaining on hello peter they were suddenly able to deliver the product in 2 days and promised a full refund. A month later my bank contacted me about an international payment coming through and after being on the phone with them for 40 mins I found out it is the refund from biovea but the bank costs related to this will be about the amount of the refund. If I have known they would be paying from an international account I would have immediately requested a refund via paypal instead so I rejected the payment, my bank ensured it will be returned within a week and biovea agreed to pay via paypal as soon as rejected amount was received. 4 weeks later still no refund received they claim that they contacted my bank and that they payment was processed and now they request a bank statement from me as proof that I didn't receive the payment. I am extremely uncomfortable with this as there is no reason for them to have my bank statement and are very weary that they are scammers and URGE YOU NOT TO BUY FROM THEM!
I had such a pleasant experience with Zando. I placed an order of R500 and received R200 off with a subscription voucher. Because my order was still over R250 I also didn't have to pay for shipping. My order was place at 4.30 pm, I paid via EasyPay at Pick n Pay at 5.30 pm and immediately received confirmation of payment. By 8 pm I received confirmation that my order was packed and ready for dispatch. Before 10 am the next day my order was delivered. I expected it to take two days especially since I placed my order toward the end/after working hours. The delivered so quickly. I am very impressed and will definitely use their services again in the future.
I placed an order on Biovea before 8 am on Thursday 30 April 2015 and immediately paid (also before 8 am) by EFT. I was very patient as it was a long weekend and thus only expected for my order to arrive the following Friday (8/055) as this would give them 6 working days to deliver which is the max amount they promise. Communication is terrible. I have felt in the dark with my order right from the very start. Their order status is primitive not giving you any indication whether they received payment, or what is going on. Suddenly two more items appeared in my order which I didn't order and probably a cause of the delay. I immediately contacted them and they promptly corrected the mistake. My order status was changed to \re-processed"and I still have no idea why and what this truly means. After that days past and still my order was not delivered. Finally got an answer that the item was OUT OF STOCK and was promised it will be ready by 21/05 (16 days later after promising to deliver within 5 days). A day later there still is no change to my order status. They are currently selling these items on their website again even when they still haven't completed my sale. I am very unhappy."""
I purchased two Hean eye shadows during a promotion where you receive a free lipstick for every two eye shadows purchased. I thus received a lipstick worth R90 for only spending R160 (shipping included). The package was delivered very quickly and all items was in good condition. Not only did I also receive a foundation tester they added an Omega Top Coat for free. I am dumbfounded and have never come across a company that really goes the extra mile. Top service.
