Warning: Avoid Revibe at All Costs! I purchased a device from Revibe on March 20, 2025. Within three days, I noticed a problem with the back camera. I sent an email and logged a return to the store, expecting a straightforward repair or replacement. However, their actions were appalling.at After taking possession of the device, they claimed I had to pay R1,810 for shipping whereas their policy states that returns within 10 days are free and an additional R900 for repairs. They sent a picture of a phone with a scar, alleging misuse, which was blatant fabrication. The device I sent had no visible damage, only a camera issue. When my legal representative and I requested a video of the phone's front and back to verify its condition, and confirm if the picture of the phone they sent is mine they ignore us. No response to emails, no willingness to resolve the issue. Lessons Learned 1. Be cautious of Revibe that prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. 2. Document everything, (I did and i am going to court with my proof) ncluding photos and videos, when returning devices. 3. Don't trust stores that make unsubstantiated claims about device damage. Avoid Revibe for your electronic needs. Their customer service is unacceptable, and their business practices are questionable. If you've had a similar experience, share your story to warn others. I will be going to court and I will also be letting my followers know as I am a content creator boycott Revibe
It was an absolute dream working with them! From beginning to end, I have nothing to complain about. I had the pleasure of dealing with Connie Mjeza. She was very informative and explained all the requirements and steps in a way I would understand. She provided me with daily updates and her sparkling personality kept me calm and assured during the tough time I was going through. Thank you again to Connie and everyone else at AutoFin Assist. I will definitely be recommending you guys in future.
Everything was great at first I got good service. Then as soon as I paid a fee for my affidavit to be processed I got debited double the amount I was supposed to and its been absolute silence from their end. No response on emails, I call the number it either doesn't get get answered or its answered by a lady who works remotely and doesn't have access to the email box and makes empty promises. From this morning the website is no longer working. So you just wanted money from me? Is this a scam? Who do I report it to? Who can even help? Who even cares? This is why this country cannot move forward because the companies who are supposed to help citizens with the their financial issues are lying and stealing from them.
The new branch in Northgate is ripping people off, serving half the portion of the food at the same price. Ordered nachos and got way less the amount I usually get at other branches and the nachos were stale the quality of the food was poor, tasted like someone else brought it back the day before then they just gave me that order. Disgrace to Mochachos will never go back again!!!
Has anyone who has been scammed by these snakes actually been blacklisted? Or been to court? Managed to get their names cleared? Know findings of any official investigation? Received any help and assistance or can give advise to those of us who are still being threatened by them? Not very easy to find proper info on what to do when in this situation or how to handle it. I know Im not the only one needing these answers so if there is anyone that can shed some light on the above questions please do.
These guys are a bunch of snakes. You sign up and provide your details thinking they will help you find a loan because you are desperate for money and a month later you receive an email from them saying your account is arrears of R1400. Or worse, the money just gets deducted from your account if you have it! When telling them I did not sign up to any monthly payments and agree/sign to any account being opened with them I got this dumb explanation from them: "When you ticked in the little tick box at the bottom of the page, you agreed to Loan Tracker SA’s Terms of Service, Terms of Use, Legal Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which are collectively known as the Policies. Please be advised that the Account Settlement that you have received is as a result of your failed debit orders for Loan Tracker SA’s Convenient Service Package that you have applied for. Please note you will have 20 business days to pay the Account Settlement in order to avoid being handed over for Legal Collection. A due by date will be stipulated in the Account Settlement email, stating by when the Account Settlement needs to be paid." I wish I had first read all the review on this site about them before putting in all my details. They have my ID number, bank details, address, phone numbers everything! But still they will not get a cent out of me... I have my lawyer going through their weak excuse of a contract that no one is even notified about when signing up.
Over the past couple of months I have been given the run around by different ISPs regarding fibre to home. Many promises were made and after waiting 5 weeks for installation I was told there is no coverage in my area even though I knew there is. On Tuesday 24 Oct I was contacted by Dominic Maree at RSAWeb offering me a great package. After some doubt and giving him an uphill he told me to apply and he will take care of the rest to get me connected. Today Thursday 26 Oct only 2 days later I was contacted by the installation tech and setup a date for installation next week. In only 2 days they delivered what other ISPs couldn't for over 5 weeks. I recommend this ISP and I look forward to being their client. Anybody looking for fibre to the home? Check if you're covered by RSAWeb and ask for Dominic Maree.
4 weeks ago I applied for fibre to the home through Afrihost which was approved and was sent to Fibrehoods for installation. I was told they would contact me to setup a date. After waiting for 3 weeks with no call or email from them I followed up and was provided with an update from Afrihost saying they would escalate it to Britelink for installation because it was handed over to them. Already I get a bad feeling as I was told it would be done by Fibrehoods now it gets passed to some provider I have never heard of, that does not have their own website and is almost near impossible to find a contact number for. Only a few days later (bringing us to today) I finally get a reply from a Keshnie at Britelink telling me "Kindly note that there is no distribution to your complex currently." when on the Afrihost, Fibrehoods, Vumatel and multiple other service providers websites it says my road is covered for fibre. I replied to the email asking how this is possible and sent a screenshot from the Fibrehoods website showing that I am covered, it has been over 2 hours now with no response. I sent another email asking for a response but still nothing. I called the number in her email signature and after waiting for about 20 mins for someone to answer the call I gave up and hung up. So I want to know, will someone from Britelink ever contact me? Who will be doing the installation? And when? Because I have been waiting for long enough now, I am being ignored on email, I cant get through on the phone line so I am here hoping someone can give me answers. I dont know Britelink and do not trust now, if someone from Fibrehoods or Vumatel could contact me to setup a date and do this installation it would be awesome because 4 weeks ago it was urgent and now it is extremely urgent!
Friday night my wife's phone was stolen, Saturday we went in the branch to report it and get the phone blocked went to the police station for case number to claim from insurance. Sunday we went back and they sent in the claim form and told us the phone has been blocked and blacklisted. This morning, Monday, I log on to Whatsapp and i see on my wife's profile last seen was a few mins ago and her profile pic has been changed, I sent a message and the p[person who stole the phone begins chatting to me. My wife phoned Vodacom and they said the phone is showing on their system its blocked but this guy is still using the phone. I need this phone to be blocked and blacklisted or whatever you need to do before he causes big damage. He has access to her Facebook, bank apps, her payslips are on the phone. We need this done please!!!
I requested 3 times for my policy to be cancelled but my accounted was still debited with 1200 by them today. This is unacceptable. The account department and complaints department need to check their mails I sent them today.
