Another week. Another seriesxof promises. Another week of no refund. Perhaps the Small Claims Court will help?
Took faulty goods back for credit ( was told the entire batch was faulty) on Saturday 28 May 2022. After many promises from them ( only after being emailed and called by me) still no refund. All the pomp and ceremony when you arrive does not make up for uninformed sales staff, shoddy merchandise and extremely long waiting times for the stock to arrive. Took nearly three hours to get the original order.
I went to renew my motor vehicle licence today and everyone at the Civic Centre, from the security guard at the entrance to the gentleman who issued the licence were friendly, helpful and efficient.
This is the second time that I have had work done at Kessel Motors Buitengracht and on both occasions the service has been excellent.
<p>My vehicle was taken to Pitstop, Albert Road , Woodstock at the end of August 2016. Since that time I have been trying to get a refund for repairs that were done to the vehicle when the vehicle was unable to be driven because of a damaged gearbox. They informed me that the vehicle was fine anmd that all that was needed was new CV joints and shock absorbers. They did not notice the big hole in the differential and the fact that the bearing had seized. Since then they have completely ignored all correspondence from myself, my lawyer and the Sheriif. Defaulkt judgement has been awarded to me in the amount of R11,982.00 which they could have avoided if they had just done what I asked them to do which was remove the parts, fit the old ones and refund R5,000.00 I paid for the unecessary repairs.</p> <p> </p>
I had the misfortune of having repairs done by this company, aka The Garage, and am still waiting for a part that is available from the agents within 2 days and this has been going on for several weeks.<br> Shocking service. Shocking attitude. Do not believe anything that you are told by Shaheed, Alan, Tashriq or Tobie.
Another week has passed and no call from anyone at this company. They have to be one of the worst companies that I have ever had to deal with in my life. I regret ever dealing with them in the first place.Trust your vehicle with them at your peril. <br> P.S. They also advertise under Cambridge Repairs.
My brakes failed on Wednesday and as I was only able to get to Brake Super Service late and needed my car for Thursday I was a bit worried that they would not be able to repair it that afternoon.<br> <br> No problem for them though. <br> <br> They checked all the brakes and repaired the faulty one and I had my car back by 17h15.<br> <br> Thanks to all the staff who worked on the car.<br>
After waiting a week for my car to be repaired I gave up and fetched it last Friday(26 June). I was told they were waiting for a part and would contact me during last week when it arrived. Surprise ! no call. I have checked with the agents myself and the part is available within 2 days of order. On phoning Shaheed yesterday he told me he will contact me on Monday as to when to bring the vehicle in. Take my advice and think twice before entrusting your vehicle to this workshop.<br> P.S. After 2 weeks in the workshop and a 'MAJOR SERVICE' no mention was made of the fact that the cv joints, stabiliser links,lower control arm bushes,rear stabiliser links, tie rod ends, rack ends and left rear brake cylinder were faulty or that there was a leak on the gearbox. I found this out by taking the vehicle for a check somewhere else.
Vehicle was taken in for repairs. Repairs were not done correctly. Vehicle is now in for the 4th time and I have had no feedback since I took it in on Monday 22 June at 08h00. They are quick to take your vehicle, quick to take your money but once you have paid they could not care less.
