The Fourways Mall store states that it is open until 8pm (Wednesday), both on Google and on the Chelino website. I drove for two hours in load shedding traffic, only to find it closed before 6pm. And it wasn't closed due to load shedding, as the stores around it were all open. I really needed a car chair for my son for tomorrow morning. So much for brand loyalty, I'll now look elsewhere. Absolute waste of my time!

I recently bought a car from the Midstream (Centurion) Branch, and was thoroughly impressed with the whole process. The cars are available online with detailed reports to look at beforehand, which saved a lot of time. I especially want to thank Eddie Hanekom, the sales executive that assisted me in person. He went out of his way to help me get the vehicle I had my eye on. He kept me informed every step of the way, and assisted me to apply for finance. He also made sure the vehicle went through roadworthy, and that all documents were in order when I collected. Even though it is not really repeat business, I hope Eddie is still working for the company if ever need to purchase another vehicle.
I wish all companies were this efficient and pleasant to deal with. Even during the Covid-19 lockdown, delivery was really quick, and all items were available as advertised on their website. Keep up the great work.
I was pleasantly surprised, and very impressed with Banggood. I ordered a part for my car, and was expecting to wait a few months, as I have in the past with other international websites. Within a week I got a message that the part was in SA, and a few days later I got a call from a courier to arrange delivery. I only paid R37 for delivery, so was expecting it to arrive via the Post Office. I honestly couldn't believe it was couriered to my door for that price! And the part was exactly what I had ordered, and works great. Maybe I got lucky, as I've seen some bad reviews here, but I will certainly use them again.
I was waiting for my medical aid to send new membership cards, and they had supplied the wrong address (which was no fault of Skynet). Once the address was corrected, I received the delivery within 24 hours. Great service, and thanks to Zenith who assisted me.
April 2018 - Ordered a parcel from overseas (ETA 2 months) June 2018 - Parcel arrived in Jhb on time. This is where the PO took over Sept 2018 - After much back and forth, the parcel was delivered to a hub near me Nov 2018 - I was told the parcel was lost. I figured as much by then so forgot about it Jan 2019 - I got a call from my local PO saying the parcel was ready for collection I can't justify giving 5 stars for a package that took 9 months to be delivered, but the fact that it was delivered in the end, and not damaged, means I am a happy customer. Especially thanks to Virginia Mentoor, who helped me during this process.
A "Help"24 driver came up behind me, speeding and flashing me out the way. As I was in the right lane, I indicated to go left, and moved over. He was coming up so fast, he didn't even give me a chance to move over. I assumed he must be in a hurry due to an emergency, but when he drove past, he slowed down, and the passenger started swearing at me. I was doing the speed limit, possibly a few km's over even, so it was uncalled for. The passenger then picked up something in the truck and threw it out the window, straight at me. I didn't see what it was, but I heard it hit my car. I was absolutely horrified (and still am). Afterwards they didn't even speed off again, so there was clearly no emergency. I feel I should take this further. I did not get the license plate, but there was a number on the vehicle - ********** . It appears to be the personal number of the driver. How an entity that is supposed to "help" people can carry on in such a way makes me sick.
Firstly, thank you Black Friday and MTN, I scored a 50GB data plan for an excellent price, and signed a 2 year contract on the spot. Secondly, thank you to the staff at MTN The Glen (smaller shop). When I went back in to the store to collect my sim card, I was immediately greeted by name by Zanele, and everything was waiting for me, despite me collecting 3 days late :) It's nice to have that personal touch, even though the staff must see hundreds of people a day, Keep it up guys!!
