Disappointed with our visit to the Emerald Creek Spur on September 14, 2024. During this visit, my toddler was injured in the play area, hitting and bruising his head after being bumped by another child. 1. Despite his clear distress, the childminder did not report the incident or check on him. He came on his own crying. 2. When we spoke with manager on duty, she apologized but she unsure how to handle the situation telling us she has to wait for the owner of the place to advise how to handle the situation. Managers Brenda, Noxolo were on duty and so confused on how to act, which was mindboggling and very frustrating. 3. It took over 1 hour to receive some incident form and footage, during which no first aid or any basic care like an ice pack was provided yet my child was in pain and crying. 4. I want to highlight several concerns: neglect by the childminder, lack of first aid response, unclear knowledge of procedures by management on duty, no reporting of accident to the other child’s parents, delayed medical assistance only after we got home, and a troubling threat regarding the deletion of incident footage by the management on duty. How do you threaten a parent with a hurt and bruised child about footage? After reporting the issue to Spur customer-care since we could not interact with the threatening management there, a Spur ambassador named Mark responded promising to act swiftly, but has been silent for a month, showing no care or seriousness about my concerns. I have had to keep following up with them. As a long-time Spur customer, I’m deeply disappointed and appalled by the handling of this situation at a supposedly child-friendly restaurant. I hope this feedback leads to improvements in staff training regarding child safety and emergency responses to prevent similar incidents in the future. No more Spur for us! PS. Customer satisfaction should be the value proposition for every business/service provided. When planning an event, the lady (Lebogang) is prompt & on her toes. On the day of the event it is the opposite. She didn’t even pitch on the day of my event to set up. She sent someone else and said she will join her shortly. She sent someone who was so slow (snail pace), yet I communicated ahead of time that set-up time allowed at that venue is only 1 hour. We had to assist this slow lady, because the guests were arriving and set up was incomplete, still blowing balloons (how does that make sense yet we paid so much money for the service?). The lady sent arrived with dirty chairs that had old stickers, we had to clean them and remove old stickers and put new ones. I asked for candy jars and she gave me dirty ones. Talk about not caring about the quality of your service. I would never recommend her to anyone on the basis of not valuing her service. I voiced my dissatisfaction after the event and she just ignored me until today. She promised good service, but delivers poor service. All you get is a message “Hi mommy, payment please” and that's the last you'll hear from her. Customer feedback is not important in this business or the courtesy of thanking the customer for business. I just view that as being very arrogant and not caring about the brand she offers. Almost two weeks later and still she has just ignored my message and mized me. No value for money here - try somewhere else! We support black business and they disappoint like this, not even apologetic. :( A completely different experience with the guy I ordered a slush machine and soft serve machine from. When I told him the slush did not work properly, he sincerely apologised and refunded my money. Talk about valuing a customer :)
MY NEW BEST RUG SHOP. Everything is beautiful and elegant. The owner Reshma and her team is amazing and so patient. She even communicates with you on Whatsapp. That is the best customer service experience I have ever received at a rug shop. Professional. Affordable. Efficient. None can compare!

First time we used him in June, it was a smooth process. He was recommended by someone. We were happy. Second time around, I thought we were being scammed. No communication, no answering of calls, refusal to refund. Grant calls you a million times when you need to book and pay, when he needs to deliver he goes quiet. You have to run after him. We had paid 100% to secure the booking. Luckily we eventually got our goods delivered after a month wait and struggle.
Great service, helpful staff until delivery. I love the console entrance table I bought. Affordable prices too.
Grant is a scam! For the past 4 weeks he has been saying the truck with arrive on Monday. The Monday’s have come and gone, No reponse, no updates yet the money has been paid. He doesn’t answer my calls, but when I get other people to call he answers. We used him first time on level 4 lockdown and it was a great experience. A month later we needed furniture transported again JHB - EC. He is a headache. He is making an excuse on covid. He does not want to refund the R6500. He has messed with the wrong people this time. My guys are hunting for him and they have located where he is. Today we are getting our money back or else he is sleeping in a cell.
I placed an order that a guy by the name of Paul Kelly (the MD) assured me I would get it in 3 weeks should I make full payment. I did all as promised on my side <br> <br> When it was time to deliver as they promised they had stories. Their factory was broken into and lost all records. They ignore calls and messages. When I threatened with my attorneys getting in touch with them that's when this Linda lady called and insulted me telling me she is a busy woman and lives in high places, she went on to even insult me about my weight and ignoring the fact that they didn't deliver. I asked for my money back and they refused. This lady even mentioned they make furniture for Bakos brothers and high people so who am I to think I can request for a refund<br> <br> Disappointing & very rude for people who are service providers yet they don't deliver on the expectation they promise to clients. I would never recommend this company to anyone<br> They are a disgrace as a family business
