Absolutely disgusting service. I booked to hire an ldv WITH A LOCKABLE canopy. I spoke with THREE Woodford representatives about this, including Ridwaan at your Sandton outlet. On the day of collection, the ldv allocated to me had no canopy. Ridwaan simply said that he had made the note on the computer, and then became indifferent to the problem. A vehicle was then arranged to be sent fro OR Thambo Airport, and I was told that I'd have to wait an hour for it to arrive. We were flying out of SA the next morning, and I really didn't have the luxury to just stand around. At least the manager, Neren, took charge of the issue and apologised for their oversight. Ridwaan just couldn't care. His attitude incensed me to the point that I told him what I felt about his customer service. He is in serious need of some remedial training. I will not rent a vehicle from Woodford again.
We awoke on Saturday to find that our geyser had burst. Our insurers allocated the replacement job to Hutton Plumbers, who were on site an hour later, and replaced our geyser the very same day. They were professional, efficient and left the site as clean as they found it. I would absolutely give Hutton Plumbing a confident recommend.
We sold our home in Lonehill, through VERED. Sally, Viktoria and Cheryl were absolute stars. They have a database of qualified buyers; always provided consistent, clear and concise communications; and managed the entire process in a most professional and satisfactory manner. If you're selling your property, or buying a property, I would definitely give these ladies a recommend.
Spilled water on my laptop, and it stopped functioning. Eric and Ahmed at Lonehill Computers got it started up again, cleaned it (inside and out) and it's now working better than before. And at a very reasonable price too.
The franchise advertises it's Fourways Mall outlet as being Halaal, but when I asked them to produce their Halaal accreditation, they couldn't, and then began to give a plethora of excuses, including that the online sales are Halaal, and that the store was Halaal but no longer is, that their central kitchen is Halaal.... I called their head office, and was told that an operations manager would call me, but this never happened. Excercise caution with this franchise.
For the best Halaal, fine dining food, this is the place. Not necessarily the venue, (because it's located in a bit of an industrial area) or the service (there's lots of room for staff training), but definitely the food.
Bought a property in Sep 2021 that had a Speck Pools pool-pump installed in July of that same year. The pool pump was sold by Brandon's Pools with a 3 (three) year warranty. The pump stopped working about a month ago, and Brandon's Pools were called in to attend to whatever repairs were required. They removed the pump, and sent it to Speck Pumps for inspection. I spoke to Colin from Brandon's about 4 days after the pump was removed, and he promised to check the progress with Speck, and revert. This never happened, and a week later, I received a quotation from Brandon's for almost R7,000 for a new pump. No courtesy call. No explanation. Just a request for more money. I called them and spoke to Anton, who told me to call technician at Speck Pumps. The technician was annoyed that I was referred to them, and because I would not just accept their decision that whatever the problem was, was not covered by the warranty. Much frustration later, I received a report that the motor had flooded, without any plausible reason for this. I spoke to Raffick at Speck, who also promised to look into the matter, and revert. I have not heard from Raffick or anyone else at Speck since. Long story short, my insurance providers sent an assessor to my home, and whilst they have agreed to replace the motor, he could not see how the motor could have flooded as a result of misuse, nor could he find a water flood-line on the sand filter, or the DB, both of which are located right next to where the pump was. Also, the entire installation was done by Brandon's so it would have met their installation requirements. Based on my experience here, if you're looking for a pool pump manufacturer or supply company, that also delivers good service and will honor their warranty, then I cannot with a clear conscience recommend either Brandon Pools, nor Speck Pumps.

Absolutely disgusting service received from Neelan, the owner of this business. Dropped my dad's vehicle with them, and was told that I would have a report and quotation within a couple of days. A week passed, and i had not heard from them. Neelan did not take, nor return any of my calls or Whatsapp message. I called at their premises and found the vehicle standing in an adjacent unit, and the undercarriage covers had been removed. The body and interior was smeared with grease. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, Neelan simply told me to take the vehicle elsewhere. I tried to engage Neelan in a civil and professional manner, but he just walked away. I have since taken the vehicle to an alternate service provider. As it happens, Extreme Performance damaged the gear selector, which was not not faulty in the first place. I cannot with a clear conscience recommend this business.
We’ve been dealing with Shane and Aircon Boys for about 4 years now, and have always had good service, and enjoyed an amicable interaction. They installed and maintained 3 aircons at our previous home. We moved into a new home last September, and got Shane to send a team out to regas 2 aircons, mount a condenser, move an evaporator and take 1 aircon unit away for assessment and repairs. This was not a good interaction at all. His team arrived without all the required tools, and borrowed of mine. They proceeded to leave with my hammer. They broke a 3m PVC pipe, but just didn’t bother reporting it to me or Shane. In regassing one unit they damaged the remote receiver. The result is that the remote receiver cannot be repaired, and since the OEM no longer makes this model it cannot be replaced either. The OEM suggested a universal remote control and receiver instead, at a cost of about R 2,500.00 I enquired about the state of the unit that was taken away for repair, with the idea that, if it was not repairable, we could look at salvaging and swopping out the remote receiver, but Shane informed that it had been disposed of, because it was beyond repair. Again, this decision was made was made unilaterally, and I would have thought it normal cause to first inform the customer before disposing of their property. When I spoke with Shane about all of this, he flatly denied that his staff would have damaged the remote receiver, but had no comment when I asked why his staff had not brought it to my intention if the unit required repairs before regassing it. Also, I had been using the airconditioner (with the remote control) for months prior to his team calling out, without any issues. As for the unit they took away, he claims that his staff told him that I asked them to dispose of it. If I wanted to dispose of it, I could have done so myself. In the situation, he chose to believe his team’s recollection of events, rather than entertain mine. I am aware that Shane has ventured into an alternate energy solutions business, and it appears, in my opinion that is at the cost of the aircon business. His attitude to absolutely absolve his team of their negligence based on their account of events also does not sit well with me. Whilst I paid his invoice, and will absorb the cost of repairing the aircon that his team damaged, I am not at all happy with his service now, and can no longer with a clear conscience give his business a recommendation.
