I purchased a pair of Adidas Malice (SG) Rugby boots on the 05-11-2020, and managed to play 1 game with them. After that 1 game, about 4 of the studs came out. Prior to the game, I made sure that all the studs were tightened with the little tool that is provided in the shoe box. I then tried to take the boots back to show the Adidas Outlet staff (Springfield, Durban), on 20-11-2020, what had happened. The one staff member checked the studs that were in the boots, to make sure they were tightened - which they were. I was asking for at least a packet of replacement studs, or a return. However, they told me they couldn't help me and that I need to buy studs from Sportsmans Warehouse. These have to be the worst boots I've bought, and a waste of money. I can't justify buying studs for these boots for every single game I play. Not only were the boots useless, the staff was not very helpful at all (it was an extremely busy day, but they wouldn't even entertain a return), and I had to purchase a brand new pair of rugby boots.
In December 2017, our internet went down from the 05 of the month. We made multiple calls to the call center to find out that there was some infrastructure upgrade/or work on the line taking place in our area and that all the businesses in our business park did not have internet. Our internet at the company came back online on the 18-12-2017, two days before the company shutdown. As of 08 January 2018, we have not had internet. We have made countless calls, spent countless hours on the phone with the call center, with no luck! We have requested more than once that a technician comes to our business to test the line. I have now tried to cancel my insurance with your rubbish insurance company TWICE! Since then, I have been billed twice by you worthless people for a phone that you would not let me claim for (which I don't have anymore!). I would like you to please cancel my insurance policy with IMMEDIATE effect and refund me the 2 months worth of Premiums you have deducted from my account. I received the "Cancellation" SMS from MTN Insurance on 7 September 2017 saying that my policy for (Policy Number: MTNLF ********** ) was cancelled for my iPhone 6. Please ensure this is so! This is extremely frustrating. First you don't care about your clients, then you ***** them over by taking 2 months worth of premiums even when I don't have the insured phone anymore!
<p>I'm disappointed at the lack of comminication from Bay Union. I have my entire Short Term Insurance policy with them. When I made a claim for Accidental Damage, they very quickly told me that they would only cover quarter of what was written on my policy schedule. This was neither mentioned on my policy schedule, nor discussed with me either by phone or by email. When I queried this limit to my claim, I was met with sarcasm, and poor service. I've phoned and emailed Bay Union to try and resolve this issue quickly with very little response. </p> <p> </p> <p>The level of service I received from Bay Union makes me feel that they neither care about my needs as a client, nor want me as a client. I've never missed a payment, nor claimed for anything until now, and yet I'm ignored...very disappointing indeed.</p>
<p>So I got my iPhone 6 back from Smartphone+ (yay) and everything was all good. Or at least I thought it was. I received my phone last week Thursday (27-10-2016), and after setting my profile up, my phone froze, I restarted the phone and for a couple of hours all was ok, until it froze again and I had to restart it. I put it down to the software not being up to date, which I then updated (iOS 10.1). On Friday (28-10-2016) my phone wouldn't connect to the wifi. I finally managed to get the wifi working, and all was well with the phone until this morning (04-11-2016). Now, my Bluetooth and my Wifi both won't connect. I've reset my network settings, I've restarted the phone, I've put Airplane mode on and off, and there's nothing, no connection...the phone still has signal and connects to the 3g and LTE network, but there is no wifi or bluetooth connection at all.</p> <p>I read that the phones "replaced" by Smartphone+ are Refurbished Phones and not new, is this correct? Also, I am slightly at a loss, because I don't know who to contact, and what to do. Any assistance would be really appreciated.</p> <p>I did try contact MTN Insurance on their number, only to be disconnected when someone doesn't answer the phone. <p>I went to MTN to claim for my phone that had a cracked screen. It took them close to 2 months just to come collect my phone. They have had my phone for another month, and after multiple emails and visists to MTN, I finally get an email to say that MTN Insurance has my phone. They ask for excess to be paid, with no account information or reference number that can be used. I emailed MTN Insurance, not before trying to contact them on their landline, only to be hung up on 6 times after waiting over 10min each time for a consultant, to have a reply to my email saying that the turn around time is 5 days...that was a week ago!</p> <p>All I want is to pay the excess and to get my phone bac****!!! This level of service is SHOCKING and really puts a bad taste in my mouth with regards to MTN. I've been a contract subscriber for 6 or so years now, and this is how they treat a client, very disappointing. The assistant at MTN themselves who was helping me with the claim even says that this is unacceptable.</p>
<p>I have insured my iPhone 6 16GB through the Smartphone Plus, and when I had screen damage to my iPhone I thought I would log a claim to have the phone repaired. It took Smartphone Plus over 2 MONTHS to finally get back to MTN and myself with regards to when they were going to collect the phone. Then, when they collected my phone, they informed me that they did not have any loan phones available. It has been over a week, and I have not heard ONE WORD from them. I've followed up with MTN, also nothing. I now have no idea where my iPhone 6 is, if it was received by Smartphone Plus. They haven't even bothered to ask for the excess (which is rather surprising). This is THE WORST insurance company EVER! I will not be recommending them to any EVER! I hope that this complain will expedite my phone repair/replacement because I'm on the verge of seeking legal advice.</p>
I recently had my MTN Contract bought out by another company. However, in June when the buyout was completed I noticed I was billed by MTN for the contract. After spending time on the line with the call center, I was told that my contract would be cancelled (At this point I expected to be billed for July). However, in August I once again received a Statement from MTN for a contract that I don't even have anymore! I then phoned the call center again and was bounced around from person to person, to be told no one knows what's going on and I'd be contact. It's now been 2 weeks and still no one has contacted. I'm extremely frustrated since I've had 2 contracts with MTN for many years, but they can't seem to care less to help a client out!
