I walked in to the Postnet at Westwood Village in Boksburg this morning at 0850. One of the ladies was at the computer and the other was behind the desk shuffling papers around. Neither one greeted me nor acknowledged my presence. The lady behind the desk looked at me twice, and continued shuffling her papers. Another customer walked in not long after 10 minutes of me waiting patiently at the counter. I was shocked that she was greeted by the lady behind the counter. l eventually just walked out. Pathetic service and poor customer service! All i wanted was to be acknowledged and to be told that i will be attended to and i would've gladly waited. Guaranteed i will not be supporting Postnet Westwood Villages any longer.
I recently ordered a meal for collection via the Mr Delivery app. When i went to collect the food, luckily i checked the order and found i was given a beef patty as opposed to a chicken fillet with the burger. The lady in the front told me i needed to wait 15min- 20min for them to redo the order and i was not having it. I called the Manager, Cliff, and spoke to him about the mistake on the order (which had happened for the second time). He took down my address and within 20min, he personally delivered the correct burger, included a second portion of ribs and an extra something as an apology. Fantastic personal service! This is what keeps customers happy and willing to return. Thanks Cliff for being so attentive and for attending to the problem with professionalism.
Went out to have lunch at Monte Casino and chose Donatella's as we have been a few times before and the food was excellent. However, this passed Saturday, 13th January, we were extremely disappointed by the food and service. The waitress, Patricia, did not even bring or offer sauces, nor did she bring hand wipes after the meal. For the meal itself, the ribs had a strange aftertaste and the stir fry veggies were over salted. My partner had the chicken breasts with mushroom sauce which was just flooded in the cream sauce and could not be eaten. The food was terribly plated with zero attention to presentation, just merely slapped onto the plate. Extremely disappointing that services and food servings are not being monitored and that there is such a lack of quality control.
I always have bad luck regarding luggage when i travel, always a lock getting broken due to mishandling at the airports. However, due to the fantastic service received at Samsonite East Rand Mall, the bad luck turns to good luck every time. The staff are exceptional. Honorable mention to a particular staff member, Promise, who is always on the ball and willing to assist with anything. Your store is always neat and tidy, and the service is definitely a level above others. Keep up the great service!
I went to Tasha's for breakfast this morning and ordered the Bacon Rosti with an additional serving of sausages. For one, the Rosti arrived without the sausages, only 5 minutes later were the sausages brought to the table. Secondly, upon cutting half the sausage and eating it, i realised it was still frozen cold in the middle. I then called the waiter, who gladly returned it to the kitchen. Another 5 minutes later, the same sausages from which i had cut and eaten were brought back to me- not even replaced with a new ones! Thirdly, upon continuing my meal of the Bacon Rosti, i came upon something inedible- only to discover it was a piece of cardboard! The manager was called and i explained what had happened and what i had discovered in my food, and refused to pay for the meal, at which he at least accepted. However, this is not the standard of food i expect to receive anywhere, never mind at such a reputable restaurant. Clearly there is a lack of quality control for the food leaving the kitchen, as well as remorse for unfairly treated customers.
