I recently ordered a set of 3 x pairs of gloves on takealot, which was a pretty decent price. When i received said items, i only received 1 x pair of gloves. I contacted their customer service and after almost 2 days of fighting over it, they collected the 1 x pair, and issued a replacement. I received the replacement order a few days ago- AGAIN only 1 x pair inside. Now TakeALot are investigating AGAIN, and say it's all been escalated. This is ridiculous that they palm the mistakes off on their suppliers, but they are the ones packing the boxes. On the barcode label it clearly states 3PC Gloves. This is pathetic, and i must say i recon Amazon is taking over with much better service and better pricing in most cases..! Even Temu is starting to impress me more than takealot. I think it's time they pull their socks up..!
Telkom taking early debit orders up to 7 days before the debit date, and then they refuse to reverse the penalties. They also refusing to pay the bank charges i was charged for the reversal of the debit order. TWICE. They did this in December, and then again in January. This is a violation of the DebiCheck mandate system, and they should be reported to the credit Bureau for action..!

Durban staff were absolutely rude and just plain dismissive. We had an issue with our boarding experience when returning to JHB from a funeral in DBN. My father had a hip replacement done around 2 months ago, so still uses his crutch to improve his mobility. This lady refused to let him board, something to do with the crutch being on the plane. My sister then offered to take the crutch with her, and my father was forced to walk onto the plane without a crutch. Still allowed to sit in the emergency isle seating, but my sister had to move to another row with the crutch going into the overhead lockers. SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS LOGIC TO ME??!????!!!! Surely if there's an issue with mobility at the emergency isle, then my father would be moved to another row and not my sister. What is the point of paying extra for pre-booking preferred seats if this is the attitude of the staff at boarding time? Needs be mentioned that we had ZERO issues boarding in JHB under the exact same circumstances, and the crew at the boarding gates and onboard the plane were extremely accommodating towards my father.
I have been waiting for almost a whole year now for Clearscore to update my credit profile and remove a loan that has been duplicated...!!! This is pathetic, i suppose the argument is that you can't complain about a free service? Maybe it's better i go to another credit record provider
My Credit report has not been for over 3 months now. I have a problem where one of my loans on my credit report is duplicated, and so it shows that i have double the debt that i actually have. This was disputed with Experian via ClearScore, and the dispute investigation was found to be in my favour. Now it is 3 months later and STILL the loan is reflecting at duplicated on my Credit report. This has affected my credit score negatively, and my score has dropped by almost 10 points as a result of the disputes and who knows what else. I have send numerous emails to ClearScore who reply and say, your dispute has been found to be in your favour and it will be updated. BY WHEN, Christmas??? 2023 or 2024??!?!?
Worst experience ever. Tried giving them a second chance, worst decision ever ..!!! Stay away
I contacted VOX to move my fibre connection over to my new house. Now a week later i follow up because i haven't heard anything, and suddenly i'm told that i need to cancel and give a calendar month's notice, and do a new application for the install at the new house. Why wasn't this told to me when i first contacted them, and i could still give a calendar month notice...!
This company is only sales driven, and once they have you locked down in a contract- their service is absolutely non-existant!!! We currently use them for our internet service which went through Afrihost for a long time via their LTE solutions, and since then they have switched us over to another Telecom provider and we have had endless outages! Firstly we have an uncapped contract with them, yet we keep getting notified that our internet is OUT OF BUNDLE, and then ProPABX quickly top up their sim card with more data. This is absolutely PATHETIC. The speeds promised initially was 60mbps+ of which we would sometimes reach with Afrihost, but since moving to the other Telecoms provider we cannot reach even 10mbps. This is disgusting considering we have 3 additional sim cards with the same Telecoms provider using mobile routers of inferior quality and reach speeds of 25mbps+ with them. This backup solution has become our primary source of internet over the past 3 months. They even had us purchase an external antenna (FROM THEM, i should add) at an additional cost, to try and boost our signal. This antenna is just an ornament on the outside of our building now, useless just like ProPABX. After numerous complaints over SEVERAL months, we have yet for somebody to come to our premises and sort this out. We are cancelling our service with them (needless to say this is also a big issue with a one-month notice being required after threats from them that they have cut our service until we agree not to cancel). Immoral management, and pathetic service. I cannot convey enough how disgusted i am at the actions and communications of mr. Wentzel Marais, their Managing Director.
Customers are extremely rude. We had an issue with our day visitors arriving and the owners were so rude, saying we never made arrangements. We actually phoned them to make sure all is in order before telling our day visitors to come through. The owners stopped me at the gate when i was allowing our visitors in (because nobody answered the gate!!). Then had a shouting match with me outside the gate to say i never made arrangements. Get your attitude right, we are your guests - and the customer is always right. The way they treated the campers that came in when i opened the gate was also despicable, i don't even want to go on whether this was ****** or just plain rudeness! I will NOT go back to this resort, even though the facilities were pretty amazing- except for the warm pool that wasn't warm!
