I had an order from Durban, made yesterday that came in today. And I'm quite happy firstly with how quickly the the items were delivered and secondly with the driver's patience. I was not home at the time of delivery and the driver had parked a little far off, after a couple of calls to coordinate between him and the person picking up the package all was resolved. And I got my package. Thank you.
I made an order at Salon500 online yesterday morning, and I've just received it, mind you it's all the way from Durban to Johannesburg, I'm so pleased with the speedy delivery. And they took a great amount of care to ensure that the items were reinforced in order to prevent spillage and damages. Much appreciated. Excellent service. 👌👌👌
Another Temu order received in great condition and before the expected delivery time.
Ordered some things from Temu which I I was due to receive by the 30th latest. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a call this afternoon from the driver with the order. I'm quite pleased with the service. Keep it up.
I ordered a few things from Temu and expected the order on the 13th, however on the 13th it still reflected that the order was still at customs. I called Fastway couriers on the 13th and spoke to a very polite lady who was very helpful. She explained the process to me and further mentioned that they are expecting a lot of orders, but most of them are still held back at customs. On the 14th I received notification that my order was now with Fastway couriers and honestly I was anxious because of all the negative reviews. To my surprise this afternoon, I received a call from the delivery man stating that he is outside the gate with my package. I am very pleased with the service on my end, all the things I purchased are there and in working order. Thank you.
On 15/12/2022 at 17:05 I ordered a bolt ride, along the way I told the driver that I need to make a stop but my batter is low, the driver offered his cable so that I could charge the phone, however shortly after doing so he spotted an ATM I needed to stop at and stopped. I got off used the ATM and resumed the ride, however when I got to my destination, I forgot my phone in the cab, immediately after realizing this I made contact with Bolt and my neighbor called my phone numerous times to no avail. By 8pm my phone had been switched off and we could not get through to it. The most disappointing part is the pathetic service I have received from Bolt regarding this. The response time to emails is absolute trash!!! It takes them hours to respond and when they do, it's nothing helpful. I was advised to go to the police station and open a case after hours of anxiety awaiting a response. I went to the police station the following day and was advised by the police to fill out an affidavit and they provided me with an OB number. I sent this information to Bolt and was basically told that I can only receive assistance once they get a case number, as they have not received any feedback from their driver Taimon Sibanda. If you insist on continuing with using Bolt, please be careful should your ride request be accepted by him, the car registration is FT62RBGP. Be safe and maybe use another cab service.
I have been having random amounts going off my Capitec bank account for over a year, and I have been querying this over some time by calling the Capitec call center. I have spoken to a number of different consultants most of whom do not know how to assist. One of these consultants advised me that the only way to stop these charges from going off my account is to block my card, which I did, once I got a new card for R70.00 these charges started going off again. Also note that every time I do not have enough money in my account when this unknown transaction goes off R3.00 is being charged daily, until a deposit is made. I have also spoken to Buhle a manager at the call center on 23/11/2022 who advised that since Capitec is powered by Mastercard, when clients make international online purchases, e.g Netflix, they may be signed up for other services without their knowledge or consent. So they have to now escalate the query with master card, and should it be found that the client did sign up for this, the client will have to pay R80.00 per unwanted transaction for querying and requesting an investigation. Noted. The concern I voiced was that if I have been using this card for online transactions how certain is it then that authorization for these unknown transactions can be fabricated it is a Mastercard after all? To which I did not receive a coherent response. Buhle also promised to contact me with feedback regarding my complaint, I have yet to receive any feedback from him. I was not given an incident number also on that call, and was rather surprised when speaking to Diunay, this morning 30/11/2022 and she requests an incident number. She has expressed that she will ensure to resolve the issue for me today and will provide feedback at 15:00pm latest. However I will be closing my account with Capitec if there is no resolution because this is now bordering on abuse. Knowing that Capitec banks larger market is made up of Black lower to middle income class, it sickens me to think of how much more is being done to other client's accounts. I definitely do not recommend that anyone open an account with them for any reason after having my complaint being treated with absolute nonchalance. I further recommend moving to other banks, who will ensure to take such issues seriously even if their bank charges are higher. At least you rest assured knowing that your back at least takes you seriously as a client no matter your income bracket.
I visited Dis-chem Westgate Mall on 25-05-2021, as I normally would, however once I had completed my purchases and left the shop, I was approached by their security guard at Sheet Street, just opposite the shop, asking me to go back to Dis-chem with him, when I ask why he asked me if I had forgotten to pay for a certain item. To which I said no, I've just paid for everything in my trolley. He led me to the back office, where the manager was and called a female security guard who was instructed to check my handbag, she checked my handbag twice while both the manager and male security guard were in the office, at this point please note that I have not been told what it is I'm suspected of stealing, I have not been shown any footage of the suspicious behaviour that would lead to anyone thinking I stole something. The male guard and manager leave to view the footage while away they call the female guard who is with me in the office and instruct her to keep searching my bag, which she does. When the manager and security guard return, the manager for the 1st time actually acknowledges me, greets me and introduces himself as Sicelo, the manager. And then proceeds to tell me that they are not allowed to show me the footage but they will upon request, which I did request but to date I still haven't seen it. He continued to say that they say me take items from my trolley (from Checkers Hyper) with other items from other stores previously visited and place them in my bag. Which in fact did happen, it was a small box with cake inside purchased from Le Gourmet earlier. That I moved to my bag as I was placing more items in my trolley and it would have been squashed. What disappointed me most is the embarrassment that I had to endure being escorted from Sheet Street back to Dis-chem, the invasion of privacy without being given may clarity as to why I'm being brought back, not being shown any evidence, getting an apology filled with buts and pathetic scenarios. My time wasted, preventing me from completing my errands because by the time I was allowed to leave all the places I needed to go to were closed, being disrespected by staff members of a shop that I used frequent and actually enjoyed shopping in prior to this visit, being made to sit in that back room at 38+ weeks pregnant for an undeterminable amount of time, no one bothers to ask me if I'm ok, or if I needed anything. What irritated me the most is that I didn't even have to leave the shop for before this issue was resolved, security has walky talkies, they could have communicated with the security guard at the door to make me aware that there may be a problem, but none of this was done. Also the manager requests my details, but fails to tell me what for exactly. I was expecting a call with a decent apology at the very least, but nope, none of that. I most certainly will not be spending anymore money at Dis-chem after this incident, I'm beyond upset by the treatment I received. My family, extended family and friends will most certainly not be shopping at Dis-chem anymore after the disrespectful and inhumane manner in which they have treated me.
On Thursday morning 22/10/2015, I purchased a chicken and mayonnaise sandwich from the breakfast menu at KFC on Pine street, I waited for over 20min for the sandwich, patrons who came in after me, received their food before me and I was still waiting, I eventually do receive my order. But when I take a bite I realise that the mayonnaise was in fact smeared on the bread, and there was no chicken. The attitude I received when returning the sandwich was that of absolute carelessness. I was able to receive my money back but something really needs to be done about the staff in that KFC, from the manager all the way down, their attitude towards customers is pathetic. Lost a customer in me, and a few of my colleagues.
