Had a great experience with the broker. We met in the gym making small talk in the steam room. He mentioned that he was working for OUTsurance and I said I would be interested in a quote. Within four hours he was at my house, we discussed my current policy and he saved me more than R500 on my insurance policy at the time. His professionalism, knowledge of his products and the follow-up service was really a notch above the rest. We also moved our pet insurance immediately with him to have better cover for our dog. I can recommend the company and Jacques de Vries in Pretoria.
What a great experience I had with Studio 22. They had a special on coffee table books and I did 8 books as Christmas gifts. because of the volumes they had to work through, they had to extend the date of delivery. I had a timeline problem and contacted them. Estelle and Carike bent backwards to accommodate my need and my timeline and I did receive my books in time. i am so pleased with their dedication and the extra mile.
I ordered a cube of topsoil and a cube of compost to be delivered on 21 November 2023 from Build It Lynnwood. The cashier confirmed with the yard manager in my presence that it would be delivered first thing in the morning on 22 November. At 10h30 I called Build It as my project has come to a standstill and the yard manager just said he cannot deliver today anymore. No feedback, nothing. He can also not give a reason why he cannot deliver today. Pathetic service

I was insured with Discovery Insure for the past 5 years. Comprehensive insurance. On 1 February 2022 I noticed an increase of more than R700-00 on my policy. I took it as an annual increase. Then another increase of more than R700-00 on the 1st of June 2022. When I enquired about it, the lady said the first one was an interim increase due to Covid, high petrol price and the war in the Ukraine. A total increase of more than 40% on my premium in 4 month's time. They said they have sent out correspondence with regards to the interim increase, which I never got. I registered a claim for one of my vehicles on 8 May 2022 through my broker. On 10 May 2022 I received a letter from Florence Morake that my claim was registered and I will be contacted for an assessment. On 27 May my claim was authorised - almost three weeks after the incident. On 8 June (a day after I have delivered my vehicle to N4 Autocraft) I received a letter from Tshiamo Seripe that he has appointed N4 Autocraft and they will contact me to arrange for repairs. I phoned Florence Morake a few times, and she was never available to speak to me, I was handed over to one of the admin ladies and she could not help me, instead she once put the phone down in my ear, and the next time she said she would put me through to her senior manager, and the the line was just cut. I held the lines between 18 and 40 minutes at a time to speak to one of the consultants or the get answers and none of those were successful. I have changed from service provider and will never recommend Discovery to any person.
Really bad service. My vehicle went in to replace a bumper on 7 June 2022. Received it on 6 July 2022. After numerous phone calls, people contradicting each other, lies and non-commitment, I got my vehicle. According to Jacques, the owner, Discovery approved a pirate part as the vehicle was older than a certain age. When I phoned, the lady at admin informed me that they got a secondhand part, but was not in good condition and they had to send it back. When I confronted them about the secondhand part, the backtracked and said they actually meant a pirate part. Discovery approved a new pirate part, not a secondhand one. Jacques phoned me on 1 July 2022 and informed me that they have fitted the bumper, but it does not fit well, the bonnet cannot open or close properly with the new bumper. He said the vehicle will be ready by Monday 4th July 2022. I had to phone on Wednesday 6 July 2022 to find out what is the status of my claim and vehicle. My rental car was due back on 4 July after 30 days. They just did not commit at all. I have asked, Piet, ons of the employees for a quote on some extra work, which I would pay out of my own pocket. He promised me that Jacques will send the quote through. When I asked Jacques about the quote on 1 July he said he was never informed. Piet said that Jacques lied, he did tell him. I will not recommend them to anyone at all.
They were friendly and efficient and gave me a good deal
I made a booking with the restaurant through the owner, Dries Janse van Rensburg a week prior to 15 March 2022 for a 50th birthday. His number is listed on Google. On arrival my booking was not listed to be seated in the restaurant, and we were shown a table outside about 20-40 metres from the main restaurant and the buffet. My mother of 80 years, with bad knees, had to walk the distance using steps to get some food. I approached Dries and enquired about my reservation, but he ignored the issue and ordered his staff to squeeze another table in the, already packed, restaurant area. He nor his staff wore any masks, no sanitizer, no temperature taken and no social distancing. When I pushed the matter as to why we cannot have a proper place in the restaurant, he acknowledged that he forgot to make the booking, but he is not prepared to serve us, because we pushed the matter. He asked us to leave his restaurant and refused to serve us. We were chased away to the embarrassment of his staff and disbelief of some onlookers.
Ons het 'n baie goeie ervaring gehad met Afriworld. Hulle diens was flink en goed en ons het geen skade of ongelukkigheid gehad nie. Goeie mense, goeie diens en professionele werk. Ek beveel hulle graag aan.
Great place, great tranquility, great service. Had a wonderful experience in nature right next to the Goudveld Forest, Knysna. DP and Hannes are wonderful hosts.
