Worst company ever, I would not recommend them to anyone not even the worst enemy I might have, If it was a choice of Choose web squad and live or choose anyone else and perish, I guess I am going to perish. They have gotten me into some very hot water that I know need to climb my way out.
I left Butylseal in April 2023 (yes, 2023, not 2024 like they keep claiming). More than 18 months later these clowns happily accepted a debit order mandate signed by someone else, sent from my old work email, and started hammering my ex-employer’s bank account for MY personal fibre line. They emailed my invoices and private details to people I no longer work with, never once phoned or WhatsApp’d me to check if it was legit. POPIA? Clearly never heard of it. Cancelling was another circus: “invoice is due” + “settlement is required” – are you wanting one payment or two? Took ages and threats to get a straight answer. Absolute ***boys. If you value your privacy and your money, run a mile. I’m still gobsmacked this company is allowed to operate.
FNB has become so big they don't care about their customers anymore. If you should choose to use FNB Keywest, reconsider. So far its the most useless and unhelpful branch ever. I have ordered my cards via this branch just over 2 months ago and I go in every second week. Surprise, Surprise. The cards are not there, let us send an email. I then requested that they cancel the cards and they said they will give me an email address to cancel the cards. As soon as I can I am switching to another bank. This is not the first time that "The Branch" can't help me out and I must send emails, this is over various other issues. I will be moving my business account over to another bank at the end of the month and closing that account with FNB. After that I will work on my personal account.
If you are looking for a medical aid and you in the future you may want to change banks, Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use Discovery Medical aid, because they won't change your debit orders to the new bank account. I have been battling for 6 months to have it changed, and in the 6 months I have had to manually pay because the debit order does not go off. I am looking for another medical aid due to this fact. Discovery is useless and obviously does not want my money. Their PR Department makes promises and then disappears into the ether.
I am being spammed by FNB, specifically from the credit card division from and email address VariationAgreementAndForm27Prod.Production@fnb.co.za. So I go into that bank, they can't help, and I have been referred to so many numbers to call I have lost count. I even contact the credit card department and there response - Dear Valued Customer, We thank you for your communication, please call our contact centre on 087 575 9404 or visit the nearest FNB branch for assistance as we only deal with FNB Credit Card related queries. Kind Regards CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM. These people are unreal, the document is clear that its about the credit card but on one is willing to sort out why I am being spammed daily with this email
I transferred some excess funds into my Home Loan account, however I switched numbers around and landed paying way over the amount intended. So I wanted that transaction reversed so that I can rectify the problem. Simple Right? Wrong, you have to jump through so many hoops, provide blood samples, seamen samples, stool samples, DNA samples and an IQ test. FNB Home Loans has just lost a customer. My next bond in the new year will not be with FNB. I used to tell people that FNB was the only bank to work with, my experience with FNB over the past few months has changed my mind. It's a bank I will not refer any one to use going forward.
One of the worst companies to deal with, expect to make at least 3 trips to get a contract going, because the consultants don't know their butts from their elbows. You can't get the correct information out of them as to what is required documentation wise, and it's always, this document is needed, and No we can't accept that because it hasn't been certified, then you get it certified, then this one is supposed to be certified. How the freak am I supposed to smell what all needs to be certified if you don't tell me. I am tired of making trips to the branches, just to be sent away because some document didn't meet specs or a doc is missing because they didn't tell you everything that's needed, even after you asked them and confirm before leaving what is needed.
Got some good deals on software, just need to watch out, if a deal looks too good to be true, then it usually is, there are sellers on there that are selling pirated / cracked software. And if you land up purchasing it, know that you have lost your money to that purchase. However there are legitimate sellers, selling product at a very reasonable price.
Do not buy from this company, they take your money and do not deliver the product. They are a scam, you can email them, you get no reply, you try to contact them on the number they provide and you get a message from the telephone provider that the number is not available. If you do decide to purchase from them, you do so at your own peril.
I went to check if my PDP License was ready, I handed in My current drivers license as identification, after standing there for 10 minutes or more after they had helped several people after me as to the progress, they asked me for my ID Number and typed it into the computer and said its not ready yet. I then asked them for my Drivers licence back to which they replied that they did not receive it and that I did not hand it to them. I now have no license and no proof that I gave it to them as the people that were there when I di give it, had left after being handed their licenses. Thanks to the licensing department, I am know having to drive around ilegally while trying to get a new license due to their incompetence.
