Wow, I can't say enough about Elite! Initially, I just wanted a quick upgrade to my system—throw in an extra battery and a few panels, and call it a day, right? Wrong! Turns out, my existing setup was a ticking time bomb with some serious faults. Elite's team didn't just fix it—they transformed it! They rewired, reconfigured the batteries into a sleeker setup, corrected and tidied up the wiring and trunking. They ended up putting in two full days to sort out the mess left behind. The result? My system looks incredible now. These guys truly went above and beyond, and I'm blown away by their dedication. In addition they remote monitor my system for optimal performance and savings, giving me added peace of mind. Huge shoutout to Sheldon and the team—thank you for making it happen
I thought I was contracting with MTN, even doing my upgrade on their website. But they farm that out to a third party and then take NO responsibility for it. I can't even cancel this contract within the 7 days with MTN. They tell me to phone the third party, who is impossible to get hold of. Go look at their T&Cs - its stipulated that they take no responsibility, although they send you there. WOW!!! So I'm contracted with MTN, but actually I'm not. I actually cannot believe this.
They are a third party to MTN and presented themselves to me as MTN. they upgraded my contract, but messed up my order, giving me the wrong model phone. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of them to correct this and MTN takes no responsibility whatsoever.
Be very careful to understand the terms of their guarantees. There is always an out in these agreements, which will leave you in the lurge. Its dependent on regular service intervals, for which they charge about 1/3rd of the original job. This is the case even when the guarantee you are claiming is unrelated to the service work. And believe me: you ARE going to need the guarantee. Our facia boards started peeling after only one year, for the simple reason that they didn’t bother using a primer of any kind. I was told workmanship only has a 1 year guarantee…so this excuse could then be used on ANY of their work, making their guarantees generally useless. And when they came to repaint these boards, they were planning to do the same thing again! I had to insist several times that they use a primer. Our water damp issues have started up again, 1 year later. For this I was told it rained a lot and it takes a very long time for walls to completely dry. I must just touch it up. Nice. Actually its because they didn’t leave it long enough to dry out completely before covering and painting again. Our gutters started changing colour after only 1 year and I was initially told its because I don’t wash them. Jup, you read that right. In short: I strongly suggest you consider using someone else.
I placed my order on 28 May 2020 for delivery. I have now asked you THREE times to cancel my order because you are taking too long to deliver and I've bought elsewhere but you ARE IGNORING ME! I'M TELLING YOU AGAIN NOW TO CANCEL MY ORDER AND REFUND MY CREDIT CARD!
Before I placed my order I asked if they were experiencing any delays in delivery. They were quick to respond and told me they are delivering. I subsequently placed my order on 11 May. Their system showed "in stock". It is now more than a week later and they have not delivered and are ignoring my emails. This item is critically important to my business so now I have to order a second one that I did not need because the first one is simply not coming and I hope I can still cancel it. Absolutely pathetic service. I will never buy from them again.
Discovery refused to pay for my monthly chronic meds two weeks in advance, opting to use normal rules in an abnormal time. As a chronic asthma patient I am the high risk group, but they would rather I go stand in a queue during lockdown and expose myself than change the rules slightly! Rather save a bit of money now...and perhaps pay a whole lot later right? Risk my life would you? For the sake of the rules? Or wait, perhaps you are worried that I might overdose on Venteze? I always had the world of respect for Discovery, but not today!
I "upgraded" my contract in June 2019, but soon realised that the data stipulated in the magazine's offer is not being allocated to me. On enquiry I was told it was only once off (it was actually "for the rest of the year"). So if I did not keep the magazine and if I was not able to prove what was included in this deal I would now simply be out of pocket. This after the agent at MTN Stoneridge laughed at me when I insisted he capture the details of the deal on my contract. MTN, how on earth do you not know what the details of your deals are? How on earth do you expect your customers to to prove it to you afterwards? Your service has become so pathetic that I can certainly understand why your client base is dwindling.
I do understand that mistakes happen, but its all about how those get resolved. Its been almost 4 weeks since I notified them of an incorrect delivery. It has still not been collected (Fedex issues) and I have still not been refunded. I don't really care whether it gets collected at all, but my refund cannot continue to wait until they sort themselves out!
We used them over a 3 year period and their alarm monitoring and response service has been dismal to say the least. I would most certainly not trust my life or me assets to this company. They do not follow the industry standards for dealing with an emergency alarm (they call 10 minutes later instead of immediately coming out) and are always very late for any response. Management makes promises of improved service delivery, but falls short on delivery.
