I took my for RWC to Tokai on Friday. Nissan Almera 2020 model. Car failed,3 issues. Clip on left taillight,left front tyre and a small crack on windscreen, about 3mm, barely visible on a pic. I had to point it out with my finger on picture for the insurance. So went to stitch, repair it , replaced tyre and fixed light. Went back today Tuesday again still failed. My issue is this. I asked the guy how big does the crack have to be,was told any crack. Then I said but it's barely visible,you have to really look for it and it doesn't impare your vision in anyway. Again,he was nitpicking and told me it does if the sun hits it. According South African traffic laws the crack can't exceed 10mm if it's in line of sight,which my one is but my crack is 3 mm,and barely visible,yet it failed. My question is this. Must your cars be new to pass or pay extra to pass. If it's so difficult to get a good condition car through roadworthy the legal way,by the book and trying to do it the right way. Do you really blame people for going back door?
Telkom the worst network by far. Just my opinion from being as telkom customer for 3 months. After being with the agent at call centre says they can't debit my discovery account. After speaking to about 8 agents at the branches and at the call centre.this is the first time I hear of this. My first installment was due on the 1st of June which didn't go off and I got an email to pay it on the fourth which I did R609. Then my second installment is due on the 1st of July which again didn't go off and I didn't pay it because no email came through and I had this same experience with 8ta , where you would pay and then they would double debit you so then you would pay actually 3 months in one month. Then I went into the stores, for the 7th or eight time and then the guy told me they not mandated to deduct from my disloved account after 3 months. Now I'm due R1420, in arrears with 1 installment. They charged me R217 for late payment on a R609. If that isn't the biggest **** than I don't know what. The 1,420 rand I paid on the 14th of August up until today but still doesn't show on my app I'm still due R1420. So come the new month they're going to charge me interest on that as well ,no matter I paid it.so it seems like it's it's a **** that you pay no matter what you do ,you pay if you late, you pay if you're on time ,doesn't matter telkom just going to take your money. So sorry I opened this account I would advise anybody to stay a clear please it's not worth it that's a lot of headache that's the gives you stress it's not worth it. Because now your credit is also affected.
Hi. So I got a contract from telkom at the end of June 2025. My phone and watch was delivered first week in July. My payment was due on the 1st of August 2025, but when I checked my app it showed do on the 31st of August. Telkom send me a email that I am due the first installment because the debit order was declined. Although there was money in the account and I had no notifications from my bank of any rejected debits. I was reluctant to do a EFT because of previous bad experiences with telkom mobile.when they were 8ta. I was double and triple debited in the past. So on the third I paid the first installment via EFT. On the 6th of July I got the email stating that I am in arrears with the first installment and due the second installment the end of the month, not reflecting any payments that have made and also stating that I would be charged interest for a rear accounts. I responded via the app stating I would like a call from a agent. They phone be back about 30 minutes later but some reason I didn't hear the phone and I missed the call. No call back after that for 2 days. I responded again on the 7th and the eight and the 9th it requesting a call back from the agent. No reply not responds via the app or sms or email. It's the 11th now and still no respond but at the end of the month they want to charge the interest and debit me double. Telkom clearly has no clue what they're doing. The admin is non existent and no customer service. This is a new contract but it leaves a bad tasty burnout and I still got two years ago . If you want bad service go to telkom otherwise stay away.
Hi. This is my conclusion review of my CAPITEC *****/**** episode. So after a week of investigation, starting on the 3rd. I was refunded R49 and R352,on the 10th. No explanations, just they still busy investigating. My account is still compromised, because today another R20.75 went off my account ,as yesterday as well and the day before, even with the new card i have not even used. The account has no funds, so all the unpaid debits will affect my credit record. 5 in total. So my card was never compromised, but my account definitely is. I was refunded R401, but this exercise cost me R506, that's including the R70 for the extra card. I am just happy i got some money back. I have no faith in Capitec anymore and am disappointed in the speed with how they handled this issue. All i need from Capitec is a letter explaining the unpaid debits on my account, then i will close my account and move on. Thanks
Hi . On 3 September at 1pm i fulled up my car at garage. Upon finishing the transaction I notymy balance is almost R400 less. Upon further investigation I found out on my app I have been debited by Google 17 times for R20.75. so I immediately transferred my money to another account. Went to the bank and was told to do I investigation it's going to cost me R80 per transaction. Imagine paying R80 to get a R20 back. Also the ****mers no if you do a transaction less than R30 you don't get no notification. CAPITEC app settings only allow notification of R30 and up not lower. So I was told my card was comprised but I never subscribe to anything on Google. So got a new card and low and behold another R20.75 goes off. So what now . I will just close my account
As from my previous review last month.this is a follow up. I gave rain another chance and didn't cancel my subscription,but yet again they didn't disappoint and proved again that the simple task of deducted R595 from your bank account is too much and deducted another R900 from my account. What if that was all the money I had and was meant for other debits. Is rain Goin to refund me if my debits bounce. I am still waiting on my refund promised to me on the 12th of February,its 1 March 2024 now. Goodbye Rain
Hi. If you looking for a good service provider,this is not it. I downgraded my package from R739 to R595 in december because I was paying for 5g but getting 3g speeds. Tested several times. Then I got the new router delivered. So I didnt check my statement in Jan 2024 so only checked 1 February 2024 when I was charged for both packages R1334 and R969 FOR JAN. ITS BEEN 11DAYS LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES TO CANCEL AND REFUND ME .NO REPLY.NO NUMBER. PROBABLY THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAD. AND I HAS SEVERAL.PLEASE AVOID rain AT AL COST.IF YOU WANT TO BE ****MED ,GO FOR rain.
worts online buying experience. What was ordered and what was delivered 2 total different things. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Dont know if its banggood or or the courier company that messed up, but not good. package also seem damage when i got it.
On monday 19/12 2022 i visited the mtn store at pick n pay hypermarket ottery. The 2 consultant was busy with clients so i approach the 3rd one at main desk,who was busy with another mtn employee. I dont know if he were training her or what but was told he was busy with her and will see me afterwards. After waiting for alomos 10 minutes(8 and a half) another client walks in and ask him for .tells her the same story but advises her. So i approach him and ask about the prepaid data sim i want to buy. I am advise to have 3 month bank statement,id, and proof of residence. At which point i leave. I purchase the same prepaid sim (10g plus10g) online with none of the requirements,that same day. Sim arrived 12pm on the 23rd December 2022. Not activsted and no way to do so. I contact mtn customer service via email. The first email say i must rica the sim online via the app. At which point i buy another mtn sim and. Rica at pick and pay, which is immediately active after rica. Go on the app but cant do no sim service. Contact customers service again .phoned this time. At which point they advise me to go to the store and rica the sim then it will be active with my allocated data. I finally go into the store in ottery today,27/12/2022. Rica the card at which point the the store assistant,shakeel,not the same one as last week., tells me that there is no data on sim. So i ask him what now. As i paid R150 for a emty sim. He say they cant do anything i must go to canal walk mtn.they can only fix it. Really!!!? So what is the other brances there for?. I contact customers care again.at which point the tell me the same bulls***. Its a new card must be rica. After about 15 emails,3 phone calls,shouldn't they have it record. Why must i keep on explaining myself? I thought of saving a few bucks ,because vodacom is becoming expensive,but if this is the service mtn gives its clients i would rather pay the extra and stay where i am.
MOOVE no compassion for its drivers Hi,I was almost hijacked on Tuesday 15/09/2022. Incident happened 8am in Robert Sobukwe,in front of Midas,browns farm. I never do browns farm. But did a favor for someone and ended up there and took a trip out of there from this location. The name they used for the ride was Ethan Oliver. Told Uber about it, just sorry we'll get back to you.Told moove about it.Told them taking 2 days off for trauma and to get another phone. Nothing from them,except charging me for a full week. Apparently they not interested in your trauma. As far as the incident. Guy ordered a ride under the name ETHAN OLIVER. I got to pick up point. Guy said Ethan. Young Black guy. Got in,pulled up hand brake and said ,"STAAN STILL." I froze for a second and then thought "F**k I am not standing her. I drove off with car on handbrake fighting with the one hand and steering with the other. He try to pull the steering so for me to crash into a taxi first then the pavement. I managed to keep the car on the road. He managed to kick the car in neutral grab my phone and ran. I escaped lucky because I drove off before the others could get in,and drove with the rear wheels locked for about 200 meters. AS far as moove is concerned still charged me for full week. No compassion. I had to fight them to give me a day off my billing. They say sorry but one day is all Am allowed. No mention of cameras and nothing else. So what is the cameras there for?? Only to look after their asset,the car and insurance. Not for our safety. I was at the police in Nyanga. Another sad story. First they ask if j was hurt. No. Then asked car damaged .No. Phone insured. No. So I can't open case because I wasn't hurt. According to police I must go to Vodacom and block phone and then come back and give them the itc reference. FOR WHAT? SO I block the phone and just left it that. Police Is also no help. So to my fellow Uber drivers out there be safe and vigilant, . AND know we are in this all by ourselves.
