I purchased what is currently Electrolux's flagship vacuum cleaner, the Silent Performer from Hirsch Centurion in November 2023 and this model and brand was a deliberate choice having had over 3 decades of Electrolux appliances. Alas, this vacuum quit after 26 months, 2 months after warranty. No one in the supply (purchasing chain) entertained a goodwill repair and to be clear had no obligation to. This beleaguered experience has destroyed the faith in Electrolux as a brand. Two months past warranty, from Electrolux? This is what other branded products do, not Electrolux. Or perhaps this was true 30 years ago.
I have a basic Midea 750W Microwave (the black one), purchased in Sep 2024. After 4 months, the paint in the cavity started peeling and this was reported to Livance (The Midea agents in South Africa) by March 2025. Submitted a service call to repair the unit (it has a 2 year warranty) with a response that I damaged the coating due to the manner in which I clean it, notwithstanding that I've owned and cleaned kitchen appliances, large and small for well over 40 years ! Subsequent emails went answered. So I have a cheap and defective microwave, no service from Livance/Midea and regret the R850 I spent on this. Spend a few hundred extra and get a different brand. I won't purchased another Midea product and will ensure I discourage others from doing the same. Santosh Gunpath Centurion, Gauteng
Don't use this business. Operated by Mine Shabangu. He was employed to fix a washing machine. I paid R1400 cash. The machine was left in a worse state and the "6 Month warranty" meant nothing as repeated call's to fix the problem was ignore.
I had purchased a Nike shoe which was incorrectly marketed and advertised by the retailer in RSA and following this lodged a high level complaint to Nike Consumer services that such false advertising was unacceptable. <br> Nike acknowledged the fault and rectified the purchase and made good on the inconvenience that was caused. <br> Well done. <br> Santosh
Had a problem with a pair of near new sneakers and sent an online complaint to Nike. Nike didn't respond in a month although a tag number was issued to me. Followed up by phone with Shantal in customer services who escalated the query and complaint. <br> Nike resolved the issue within 4 days after that to my complete satisfaction. <br> Santosh
My personal thank you and to Ronald at M5 Sports for the service delivered to my Stamina 300 Trojan Treadmill. Arrangements to collect, repair and return the unit was timeous and work carried out to the best of M5's abilities given the constraints faced with servicing such an old unit - for which replacement parts were not readily available. <br> <br> Based on this, I will continue to support the Trojan brand - and this treadmill was my first experience with a Trojan product. <br> this compliment is further extended to M5 for when Ronald took the trouble to advise me on the unit, which was purchased 2nd hand - IE. what to consider, look out for. <br> Ronald is an asset to the M5 Group - keep up the good work ! <br> <br> <br>
