I bought an AEG 5 burner gas stove in August/September 2024 valued at R14 000. This R14000 item is sitting on cheap and weak plastic legs. One leg broke. Makro sales the stoves only but not the spare parts. Makro referred me to one shop who referred me to another. I didn't get the leg. I was given Kwikot number as the AEG number. Kwikot told me that they dont have the legs anymore. I was thinking l am talking to AEG so l asked to speak to the manager. He was in a meeting on all 3 days that l called. Instead l was asked to send an email. On the third day l found out that the reason for the email is not to help me get the part but so that they can respond to me in writing. Do not buy AEG products. There is no after sale support

I purchased what is currently Electrolux's flagship vacuum cleaner, the Silent Performer from Hirsch Centurion in November 2023 and this model and brand was a deliberate choice having had over 3 decades of Electrolux appliances. Alas, this vacuum quit after 26 months, 2 months after warranty. No one in the supply (purchasing chain) entertained a goodwill repair and to be clear had no obligation to. This beleaguered experience has destroyed the faith in Electrolux as a brand. Two months past warranty, from Electrolux? This is what other branded products do, not Electrolux. Or perhaps this was true 30 years ago.

We purchased an AEG oven (gas hob with electric oven) 4 years ago. Trying to get parts when things have gone wrong with this oven, have been an absolute nightmare. Whatever you do, do not buy an AEG oven. I have now been told by the agents in Port Elizabeth that there are no seals for the oven door available in SA and I might need to wait up to 8 weeks. This means I wont be able to use my oven, purchased in good faith, for 8 weeks. And I need to feed a family.

I had a carpet shampooer that was ****** so obviously I want to replace it. I contacted Electrolux head offic on 011 897 4600 around 11:10am 19/04/2027. I wait until the machine says, "Hold on for the operator" I tell this woman I need to speak to someone in sales about an particular machine, she tells me they dont sell anything i must phone Makro. I tell her I first want to find out if Electrolux still makes this machine, she starts arguing and then slams the phone down on me. Thank you for the professional staff that you employ.

Elecrtolux/Kwikot is one of the worst componies with regards to service. I bought a valve from them 7 months ago. The valve started leaking and I went back to On Tap where I got it from. They said they cant replace it and that I have to contact Kwikot via a phone number that they gave me. I called the number and where then given a 2nd number to call. The voice just said to call this number and started reading the number as fast as posible. I had to call 2x again after finding a pen and to make sure the number was correct. When I called that number the call agend gave an email address I had to send the invoice as proof of date of purches. (Looks like they make you jump through as many hoops as possible as to get you to give up). Up to this stage I had to make 4 calls. I also asked for some one from electrolux client serv to call me, and that did not happen.(no respect and care of service.) After sending the email with proof of invoice it only took 1 hour (at 15:13 nice and fast.) to let me know they have appointed a local service provider (plumer) to replace the valve and that he will contact me for an apointment. The next morning 10:00 I still have not heard from the plummer so I called him. The lady that answered confirmed the order but then said that she will first have to call Electrolux to find out if they have to buy one themself or if if Electrolux is going to send them one. ( there is no system in place or comunication of how the service provider should go ahead to replace.) This is a sign of a company that has no managment and care for their customers. Every thing happens on the fly. I called Electolux to complain about the bad service and and again asked to speak to sombody in client services. Eventually after having to speak to 2 more people I got to speak to a very nice lady in client services. I gave her the ref number and said she wil come back to me soon. She also said that the service provider know very well that hey shoul buy the valve and will then be refunded for it. About 30 min later a very arrogant Johan called and said that he will take care of it and that I should understand that they have 48 hours to replace the valve under the warrenty. I then asked him if it is so stipulated on the warrenty and he **** saying yes. He the also **** and said the service provider does not allways buy one they have to fist find out if electrolux is going to send them one. (once again bad communication that could have been stated in the order when sent to the service provider.) He then said he will send some one from Port Elizabeth to fix it but it may only be the next day (so the vavle can keep leaking and I have to pay the water bill) all though he does not feel that he wants to help me as I am just complaining with no reason. I realy do think a compomy that has this attetude towards client should be named and shamed. Electrolux I truly hope you would follow up and imprive a very bad service system.

Have you tried calling the call centre!!!? Going round in circles 01189746000/0216902728/0861594568 ( "press 1 for a world class experience" )..... can i please have some after sales service! I cant recall which retailer I bought this from and all the usual ones I purchase these types of appliances dont seem to know the model I have! I would like to buy replacement filter bags for a model z4203 .... I might as well buy another product .... here is hoping someone from Electrolux or ther local agents sees this msg ... you really need to fix your call centre and make sure your web page has an alternate method of making contact .............. your website geo/maps is also broken for locations in south africa and/or you dont seem to have an official service cente in SA ?
