Pathetic service. Have been battling with them to get them to come out to look at my faulty treadmill. Guy by the name of Simon came out eventually after a week, looked at the machine and gave his diagnosis. now 2 weeks passed, they dead quiet. Based on the reviews, these guys are ****mers, and not legit. Stay away.
This company is not honest in their way of doing business, was interested in a tablet deal through phonefinder, it showed me a deal I could get with MTN, and was interested. I was called and did all the verifications, when I asked if there where any hidden costs, I was told no. A day later, get another call, saying I must take insurance through Mondo in case something happens to me that they get paid for the contract, and they also charging seperately now for the data which was part of the original offer. I then declined and requested deal to be cancelled. Cannot do business with ********* and dishonest people.
Major shout out to PiShop team for for the great service received from them. Will definitely recommend them, worth while shopping with them.
Placed an order for a product (Laser machine) and stated that I would pay cash upon collection. I received a confirmation email that the unit was ready and could be collected. Drove through to the shop to collect the unit, shortly after arrival I am told, we had a miscount, there are no stock. Like seriously, are the people doing stock take blind... How can you count it wrong? It is a big box, not like it is a small machine. I was utterly disgusted with the poor service.
Kia South Africa is not as supportive as Kia abroad, who actually realizes that the Kia Optima 2011 - 2013 models had issues of seizing the engine at low mileage, i.e. my car 9 months / 32838km over warranty. Kia motors South Africa just brushed the engine failure off, and said, sorry sir, your car is out of warranty. Well, what I have learned from this huge mistake, Kia is not a brand to buy for long term keep, it is a waste of money. Kia supports you if car is in warranty, but when out of warranty, their customers are on their own. Why would I buy another Kia, Why would I recommend anyone to buy a kia? I wouldn't!!! Don't buy Kia at All!!! https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.cars.com/research/kia-optima-2013/recalls/&ved=2ahUKEwiBrqWU6fPjAhU8WhUIHW8jDnEQFjACegQIDxAI&usg=AOvVaw1PR8zE35nb7c99lIPovyux https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2013/KIA/OPTIMA/4%25252520DR/FWD&ved=2ahUKEwiBrqWU6fPjAhU8WhUIHW8jDnEQFjANegQIBRAB&usg=AOvVaw2jAqYdsv2rrTgMKP9W5psB https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/kia/optima/2013/reliability&ved=2ahUKEwiBrqWU6fPjAhU8WhUIHW8jDnEQFjAPegQIBBAB&usg=AOvVaw1st0C20CCMFEM-YCm_1wln
Just my opinion and experience I had over the last 2 days with Cash Crusaders Blue Valley Mall. Bought a second hand PC, at the shop it worked, got home, the Wireless & GPU drivers was not installed. Secondly, the PSU cable was faulty. Took it back same day, they repaired it, got home yesterday, the Wireless drivers still not installed, LAN port is dead, and this morning the PC restarts at random. So i ask them politely, please refund me my money, they firstly avoid the subject to repay me, so after getting cross, the owner says that i must pay the money he spent to get the 1st set of problems repaired. I mean seriously, how in heavens name, you sell a **** product, and request that I pay??? Seeing that this was the only way to get most of my cash back I agreed to pay the amount (R350), however, I will in my life, never ever buy any products, new or second hand from this store, nor will i give them a good rating, this is absolutely pathetic.
I bought my Asus laptop from Makro about 9 months ago, one day the screen starting given problems by randomly flickering when battery life reaches 50-60%. I took the laptop in for repairs, Makro only called me once in the time the laptop has been in for repairs, and it has been with the repair company for more than a month. The repair company phoned me last week to say they will receive parts on 15.02.2016, it will then take 3 days for repairs. On 17.02.2016, I got a call to say they are now waiting for 2 more parts, and cannot say when I can get back my laptop. They had the laptop for more than a month now, yet my warranty is still running, and I am not using it. I feel they have had the unit for more than a month, now they say but spares have to be imported, well, in that case, I will not buy a laptop that cannot support customers by keeping stock in RSA. Seriously.
