Only at Louis Vuitton in SA will you need to stand in a queue even if it’s just to drop off a suitcase for fixing! Maybe they don’t need the business but someone should let them know that their customer service sucks and at the end of the day they are just another department store that needs customers!
Well if you ever go to Blockman in Parkhurst, although it’s a beautiful setting be careful to get the waiters to explain the prices first (our mistake but which other top end restaurants inform one politely about the prices of their special cuts)! Bad mistake. A piece of wagu meat (which at other top end restaurants would cost about R800-expensive but worth it for premium meat) cost R2000! And that was just for 1 piece! The fancy T-bone was R1100 so our bill for 4 people ended up being R7500! Ridiculous that the prices were not provided but we also didn’t think from experience in other top end restaurants that it could ever be so expensive in SA! The waiters could have done better! Beware!
Is it not ironic that it is impossible to get through to a telecommunications company! Trying getting hold of webafrica! There is a place for automation but nothing beats good old customer service with a person that can answer your call and also help you.
I must give credit where credit is due. After having issues with Miele’s customer service and noting my dissatisfaction on Hellepeter, I got a call from Miele Bryanston’s MD, Brennan Menday. Brennan not only listened to my concerns but went out of his way to provide and “out of the box” solution. I’m delighted with the result. Thank you to Miele Bryanston and Brennan in particular for resolving my concern. And it was just in time for the holiday season. BR Forbes
If you want premium German products with shockingly bad after sales service, then Miele Bryanston is your answer. Don’t expect any worthy service after spending tons of money on your appliances. I’ve been waiting almost 3months now to have my oven temperature variation repaired. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with the service. Sadly my appliances are way too expensive to rip it all out and go for a cheaper and more consumer friendly brand. Something seriously needs to be done at Miele to improve the pathetic and expensive service.
iStore in SA is a premium reseller of Apple products, not Apple itself even though their branding makes you think its Apple. But the service is shocking. 3 times my phone has gone in with the same fault and 3 times its come back with nothing being wrong. Even when I sent through screen shots of the issue (which is a well documented issue as can be seen on YouTube). Now I'm told to contact Apple UK directly. When I don't have an dealings with Apple UK. At which point does my R23000 phone that is not working get replaced by iStore. This is pathetic service. I would recommend that people look at Samsung or other players in the market as Apple is not the premium product it once was under Steve Jobs.

I've called out Damp King in Nov/early Dec 2015 to inspect my property and provide a quote for services. Firstly the guy arrives 45min late without any notice and after many calls he finally arrives without an apology. Then he does the inspection, doesn't quite answer my questions and I have yet to receive a quote. I was called by the call Centre to follow up on whether I would go ahead but I stated that I never received a quote to which they were going to follow up on. It's now end Feb 2016 and still no correspondence. Clearly Damp King doesn't need the work with this attitude! Worst service ever...
