I took my son to the doctor on Monday 23rd June 2025 for consultation and the doctor said he is very sick, to my surprise is that i could not get the medication because the discovery medical aid says it falls under code 1 to 2, therefore i have to pay cash, I have funds that exceed R25000 in my medical aid account, yet i am not allowed to get medication during emergency, which is nonsense, what is the use of having discovery medical aid if it cannot be of help or assistance to me. How can you expect people to use R4500 over the counter for a maximum household family and all their options are the same. i pay them over 100K per annum. now they are refusing to pay the cash amount i paid for the medication. I ADVICE PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FROM DISCOVERY AND OPT TO USE OTHER MEDICAL SCHEMES.
I went to Nando's Ghandi Square for lunch as usual. The restaurant has three till machines, and when it was my turn to buy, Noma (the cashier) called for me to come and buy on the middle till. A customer who had been ordering from the first till came and started ordering where I was, surprised that I was busy. Busi told me to move back to the queue and cancelled my order, starting to help her customer that she was helping on the first machine. I then moved back to the queue, After returning to the queue, I was called to the third machine once more. As I was placing my order on the third till, the kind man interrupted me once more without providing an explanation. I was instructed to return to the queue for a second time, but when I refused, I was informed that the other two machines were no longer operational. Busi and her customer forcefully remove with a foul attitude and arguments. Only then did another cashier ask me to make a purchase using the middle till, which they said was no longer operational. I RECOMEND SHE MUST BE CHANGED TO ANOTHER BRANCH WITH HER BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, so now i have to change nando's branch because of her stinky attitude.
FNB has decided to charge me over a thousand rand as of July as Int debt fee which was never there before, and this was not discussed with me, Since when do I get charged and INT DEBT FEE ON OVERDRAFT ACCOUNT, I notice this started in July 2024 until date. How did this fee got introduced without my knowledge and consultation, Which contract was signed in agreement to this?, i need answers or else i will ask other banks to buy me out then they will be left with their Int debt fee which was posed to me. How can they decide to take over a thousand rand in my account without consulting me?
FNB have decided to increase the admin fee of an overdraft without client consent yet there is contract in place that indicate that fnb only charges an admin fee of less than R200, Now they increased that amount to R1200 with any discussion, and that's a breach of contract.
Since the beginning of July they have been deducting an amount of over R1000 called Int on debit balance that i do not know how it came about.
My rear carpet went missing two weeks ago after i took the car for a service. They have been sending me from pillar post, telling me that Gugu, who was my service advisor is on leave. i called a week later and Gugu was back, She promised to investigate and comeback tome until date.
Extremely BAD SERVICE at Debonairs Pizza Brackenhurst, we bought double pizza online and went to collect it, and to our surprise, all pizzas after ours were coming out until we questioned them. They then made excuses that the one's coming out were bought online without realizing that ours was also bought online and they were left with no excuses after we proved them an online order, we waited for 45 minutes. That's nonsense.
We bought a dining table and it was delivered a month ago, upon delivery we picked up some default and few scratches with the dining set. The supplier promised to urgently attend to the matter and two weeks later they came to collect 1 chair and say they will be back to exchange the table. Its over a month and we haven't had anything from them. We cant even celebrate or enjoy the table and by just looking at it on a daily basis, it brings stress and unsatisfactory feeling of buying something with love and end up stating to dislike it. No communication or update on what it is going on. They're gone AWOL.
Fnb is busy running transaction that were successfully processed last week as pending, busy duplicating transactions on my account and that's absolutely nonsense, day light *******.
I am absolutely disappointed by the service received yesterday evening at Kauai. We wanted a protein with warm grain, and they advised that rice is finished. We then ordered a protein plate with broccoli, and guess what: we received the attached plate, which looked horrible without any sauces and salad dressing. It is absolutely nonsensical for a place where you expect better, considering that we go to the gym there daily.
