I am writing to express my frustration with the way my laptop repair has been handled by your store. I brought in my Acer laptop on 25 May due to a fault on the side of the screen. I was told it would be sent to Acer for assessment and repair under warranty and that the process would take 21 business days. I followed up on 7 June and was told the laptop had been collected by Acer, but there were no updates. I heard nothing further until I called again on 24 June, only to be told that Acer had already issued a quote on 9 June for a R1000 hinge repair and claimed "no fault." No one from your store contacted me to inform me of this quote or update me in any way. I had to chase for information multiple times, and I have now been without a working laptop for 21 business days with zero communication or support. This is unacceptable, especially as I rely on my laptop daily for remote work. I purchased the laptop in early February, so it is still under warranty. I am extremely disappointed in the service and lack of follow-through from your team. I expect a full explanation as to why I was never informed about the quote, what steps were taken on your side, and when I can expect my laptop back. If this matter is not resolved quickly, I will have no choice but to escalate it further.
I purchased my Acer laptop in early February and logged a warranty repair through Incredible Connection on 25 May due to a fault on the side of the screen. Not once was I contacted directly regarding this quote or the claim that the issue is not covered by warranty. The lack of communication is unacceptable, especially when I have now been without a laptop for nearly a month. As someone who works remotely, this delay has directly affected my ability to do my job. This laptop is still under warranty, and I expect a clear explanation as to why a repair quote was issued instead of honoring the warranty. I also expect to know why no communication was made when the quote was issued. I am extremely disappointed in the service and will escalate this matter further if I do not receive a prompt and satisfactory response.
I ordered fibre and obviously its Vuma . However with the ISP its been a breeze but Vuma sent an installation team who came out and told us to dig up our own trench in order for them to install my fibre line ? They claim no one on the property has a line( but the main house does have a fibre line and we know it)... This doesnt seem right? Now we sitting without fibre and the order is on hold. What can we do or is this a norm??? How are we supposed to dig our own trench and for what?? Now we sitting with no internet and working from home is an absolute nightmare ! When I call into Vuma I got yelled at to contact my ISP and they cant assist and I must just wait and then hung up on me !
Good day. My order received delays due to your stock issue which was addressed only once I enquired why it is taking so long (I ordered on 9th Dec). Thereafter I had to rectify this issue for you guys by picking substitutes which I did not even want but to get things going I made a plan. Hereafter delivery was promised on Monday, nope got rescheduled. Tuesday, nope got rescheduled for 6pm. Wednesday, promised delivery after 12 ,rescheduled for after 4 and now rescheduled for after 5. And to date no deliver. I ordered well before your cut off of 15th December and I am sitting 4 days prior christmas with 0 presents in hand. I have all this in writing and you have all recordings of my calls made to your head office and customer service team. What more must a mother do? What must I do with empty promises after empty promises? What is the solution here as Avinash Maharaj from aramex in connection with toys r us head office seems to enjoy lying to me to get me off his back. What must I do.Must I turn an ombudsman with jurisdiction; an alternative dispute resolution agent; the National Consumer commission the National Consumer Tribunal; a Consumer Court, Small Claims Court or another court of law with jurisdiction What should one do?no one is taking me seriously or actually keeping their promise and assisting me? It's 4 days prior christmas eve for goodness sake ?how does this help me ?what must I do as I am clueless at this point and feel hopeless and honestly this has sucked every single bit of christmas spirit out of me. I have a proper paper trail of these continous lies which at this point seems to get me off his back until he isn't available for the day. I can guarantee his kids have their presents sorted and delivered and that's why it is not a big deal right ? It doesn't directly affect anyone besides me and my kids.what must I do!!!!!
Oh my gosh!!I cannot brag enough about this shop!! From the variety to the packaging to the amazing ladies working customer service to delivery ,my point is LITERALLY EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM IS AMAZING!! When I had a query (Impatient me) It was attended to quickly and swiftly and I got reassurance and felt as if I was chatting to a friend!! I mentioned something personal and I got a uplifted with the reply (I agree with the message ;) It was and is life changing ) So thank you for this wonderful experience, They also send constant updates via whatsapp about shipping and packaging !! If you are having doubts about this shop, i suggest you instantly go to their website and order whatever it is you need , don't waste your time doubting ! You're wasting time ! You could get that order in and your product sooner than you expected!!!
Absolutely disgusting service. Upgraded to unlimited 19 hour off peak. Got an sms /email confirming MY 19 HOURS OFF PEAK . Next thing I get charged for 24/7 unlimited AND GET TOLD I am liable for the bill after I got an email stating I will be paying R250 a month. Terrible service and communication!!!!! So frustrating. How can you just upgrade someone without confirming or without any form of communication. I have emails and sms's stating all of this so I don't know where you guys pulled 24/7 from but it should not be me held liable!!!! HOW DO I GET IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE!!! Quick service until you pull in customers then suddenly you barely on social media?????
Ordered on Friday. Paid Saturday. Delivery scheduled for Tuesday. No contact. No updates regarding it. No courier came. Waited the whole day today. Nothing. No updates. No nothing. complained 10000 times on socials. Inboxed etc. NO-ONE has even tried contacting me, still no feed back. CANNOT GET HOLD OF THEM. NO EMAIL ADDRESS. NO PHONES. NO NOTHING!!! just take my money and enjoy it while we stuck without our necessities!!!!
Got my laptop from takealot!(cool ? Not so much!!)<br> It had a glitch basically and over all just bad to work on so I got it on the 29th of September and returned it on the 24th of March!6month warranty meaning when I sent it in , I still had a couple of days left of my warranty!!!These people did not even bother checking their facts out and sent it to the suppliers who quoted me R570 for A FAULTY OPERATING SYSTEM!!!!How is thag my fault!Takealot refuse to take responsibility until finally someone mentioned that it isn't in their warranty period mean time IT WAS!!!!how can you not check your facts!!!How can you immediately just tell me to pay when it is clearly still in your warranty!regardless if I had 5days left or even just one!!still dealing with this and its been over a month since they collected it!!
