I have been contacted by a company called Ver-tex who emailed me saying I owed money (which I was aware of). Within their email was a payment link. We used this link to make payment which it turns out, was never reaching Ver-Tex. I've paid over double what was due and it seems the link was to a PayU account. I am unable to get hold of PayU South Africa by phone and the only email communication is via nigeriashoppers@payu.com which looks extremely suspicious to me. They are no longer responding to my emails and I want a refund so I can pay the correct account directly.
FNB, again I am sitting with the worst service. I am trying to get a hold of someone there as I am out of the country at the moment and unable to access my account online. I did go to an FNB ATM to verify the card/account and recived a slip saying the traqnsavction could not be completed. Another thing is I was paying a loan off with you via Ver-tex. We paid this through a link on the Ver-Tex email that was sent out to us. I've ended up paying way more than was required as the funds went into a PayU account and was never transferred to Ver-Tex. How do I get these funds back? I've tried calling from abroad but the call keeps getting cut. You have debt collectors after me but how can I pay when I don't have access to any of my accounts.
I dealt with Delarno Osman, very helpful. The only thing with king price is you can’t complete your request on WhatsApp, like cancelling. But the service from Delarno was great.
I always raved about Telkom mobile. Got my husband and mom to switch over to them. At the end of September, there was an issue with my bank clearing my salary. I didn't realise that due to this my debit order for Telkom didn't go off. On Saturday over R1000 is debited. I called in today to be told that my account went to collections so they took off last months bill and this months bill (only due on 31 October). When I asked why, they say that's process for when it goes to collections. I immediately ask for a refund for this months bill as it's not yet due and am told it will take 14 to 21 days to process. This is bull****. Telkom, you clearly are holding the money to gain interest on your account while my money sits there. A refund never takes that long to process. Also, I am told that Telkom do not follow up when a debit order doesn't come up, I the customer need to call in each month to make sure the account was paid. Seriously????
Cartrack is a scam, do not sign up to use them. They would not let me read the contract when signing up, the skelm salesman said to me you need to sign here, here and date here - it's for the debit order to come off your account and that you will have access to the app to track etc. I then asked him if this is a month to month contract, he said yes, you pay R159 per month and the tracker will be fitted and so on but would not let me have that contract in my hands. We then decided 7 months later to cancel as we're immigrating. I am then told this is a 3 year contract with a cancellation fee of over R2,500.00. I then tried to dispute but they do not care, they have no customer service skill and the staff have no empathy. They talk over you on the phone, don't stop to listen to you, all they tell you is that you shouldn't sign the contract without reading it. Well, thanks Einstein, I would've if your company wasn't running a scam. It was over 7 months before they actually (and finally) sent me a copy of the contract. I then gave up because **** these people but I couldn't cope. My anger, my blood pressure, it was all getting too much so I put a payment plan in place for 3 months to pay off the cancellation fee. After the first payment goes off, they start whatsapping me, calling me and smsing me saying I am in arrears and owe them money. I call in and they tell me the payment plan was entered incorrectly and they need to setup a new one. Now remember, everytime they do this, they setup a debicheck mandate which I have to pay for at the bank. So a new payment plan is set up for September and October. Now an extra R477 comes off at the end of September. I call in and query this. Apparently now the original payment plan wasn't cancelled and they need to setup a new payment plan again which is another debicheck mandate, more money from me. I then check my bank statement this month, another R105 has come off, totally unauthorised. I am then harassed with more whatsapps, calls and sms's over the weekend. I take the call and query the R105 - they have no record of this. I am then told to wait for another call between Saturday and Monday. It is now Monday morning. I get a call saying I owe them money and that my account is in arrears. ****ing useless people there. I explain about all that has happened and that in fact, cartrack are actually in arrears and they owe me money for taking unauthorised funds out of my account as this is theft. She then tells me there is no payment plan in place and that she wants to send me another debicheck mandate for the final payment. I mean, seriously! Cartrack, can you get a ******* clue???!!! How about hiring some educated people who can understand your system you have in place as this clearly is not happening. Your company is a thieving sly scamming company. When my battery was disconnected once, you called me quickly to say it's been disconnected. Does this mean if a thief takes my battery out, they can tow my car away and you won't be able to track it? Pay me back my money and stop scamming people in an already *****ed up country and hire people who actually know what's going on.
I am horrified at the service received so far. We are trying to book a TB test however, in the entire country, we have only 3 branches. Of these 3 branches, we have 1 person doing the testing and X-Rays and they close around 3PM. The online booking system is not working, you're not able to phone in and book so all you can do is send an email and hope for a response. Our Government is all about job creation. Here! This is the perfect opportunity to stop the backlog, get more people in and out and create jobs. It's bad enough we have to wait for visa times but a 3 month waiting list for a TB test is just ridiculous.
I am only giving 1 star as you can't give less. We went to add a tracker to my car. We walked in, spoke to the salesman and he signed us up. Not once did he inform us this is a 3 year contract. He had time to joke about my signature, he did not listen to my request of timing for installation and he was sick as a dog making me share a pen with him without sanitiser. He asked me to sign the contract saying its the direct debit, that I will be debited R159 per month and that I'm also signing for installation. So why could he not tell us we were signing up to a 3 year contract and that if we want to cancel before the 3 years is up, we would have to pay over R2000 to remove the device. To cancel this is so hard. There is no way to contact them for cancellation, no one ever gets back to you but let your debit be late, they will harass you from 7am! We were not fully informed of the contract conditions (if you purchase a phone contract or car, they go through ALL terms and conditions outlining the contract length) and we did not receive a copy of the contract. I tried to cancel this in February. They are still, to this day, "investigating" this and funny enough, they still charge you while "investigating". I cancelled my direct debit at the bank and they still managed to take money out of my account. My advice is if you want a car tracker, research all other companies but under no circumstance go to cartracker. Their service is the worst and they do not inform you of what you're signing up to along with the fact they clearly have no regard for their customers, they just want your money and couldn't care about anything else.
I have been using Hatyai Thai Massage in Green Point for quite a long time now. The last 2 times I've been, I have not received a Thai massage which is what was booked and paid for. I am getting a swedish massage. This may be ok to some but I book Thai massages for a reason as it pulls all the stiffness out of my back. When I questioned it, I was told "Oh you had the lady who does Swedish massage but I'll speak to the bosses and see what we can do." I never heard back. When I called in a week later, I was told they would call me back. I'm still waiting and it's another week later. I'm still stiff and not sure i'll go back if they can't get the right person to do the right massage anymore.
My car went in after an accident. There was an issue with the work but the staff at M&R were apologectic and only too happy to fix this for me. They kept me informed every step of the way and even delivered my car to my house for me at no charge. I highly recommend them.
It took ages to get my phone booked in. Eventually it was repaired but now I've gotten it back and there is no sound on the device. This means I have to go back again and the queue there is horrendous.
