Be careful on payment links
I have been contacted by a company called Ver-tex who emailed me saying I owed money (which I was aware of). Within their email was a payment link. We used this link to make payment which it turns out, was never reaching Ver-Tex. I've paid over double what was due and it seems the link was to a PayU account. I am unable to get hold of PayU South Africa by phone and the only email communication is via nigeriashoppers@payu.com which looks extremely suspicious to me. They are no longer responding to my emails and I want a refund so I can pay the correct account directly.

Terrible Online service
An online transaction was made on June 3rd, 2023 on the Makro site, paying with my Discovery miles via Pay U. Its been 2 weeks Makro has not fulfilled my order, due to PayU not confirming the transaction. After 4 escalations made, the first on June 9th and 3 on June 12, still PayU has not reverted back with any feedback on the transaction. How long does a person need to wait for someone to attend, feedback and resolve a PayU transaction. Makro is obviously not interested in reviewing the service provided by PayU and the frustration that this is causing, hence PayU takes liberty in dragging their feet to resolve these matters. Extremely terrible service from PayU and by look at the reviews, you are dissatisfying many more customers.

BEWARE OF PAYU. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Made a payment to Game on 2nd February 2023 and I am struggling to get a refund. DO NOT USE THEIR EFT SERVICE. Customer service is useless. I have learnt my lesson. Don't support merchant's that use PayU

PayU fraud attempt… no response from them
Scam alert. I received a one time password from PayU via sms to complete my “transaction”. I’m not making a transaction. Second time this has happened. I’m trying to speak to an agent to stop the transaction but it’s a bit saying “so sorry to hear that”. PayU is sitting with all my banking details and I can’t do anything to stop this attempt at cyber crime. Who is doing this? Where did they get my details from? No answer
