I purchased the new DSTV Ultra decoder in February which came with a free installation. To Date I do not have the installation and for the whole month of February I paid for nothing as the installer that was allocated the task failed to do the installation. The job was then paused and had to go to the walk in centre AGAIN to have the task re-initiated, the job was allocated to the same installer who failed the first time around. He made numerous appointments which he kept on rescheduling and eventually did not come through. I have been calling the contact centre and they have not been helpful asking me to go back to the walk in centre. The manager at the call centre said she was going to contact me after the matter was resolved and to date I have not received the call. Its almost 3 months now for DSTV just to fulfill on a simple promise.
I paid R8000 for a bedding set in 2018 and have not received my product. I have been to court and there could not locate the business yet on social media it shows that they are still trading
I received a message that if I re-instated my DSTV service that I would receive a checkers voucher. I had no plans of reinstating my service but because of the sms I reinstated my services. I called the contact centre after reinstating and paying for the service the consultant advise that she will investigate and get back to me. She advised of the time that she will call me back and nothing
We visited Sorbet gateway on Monday afternoon around 4h30 for a procedure that takes less than 25 minute and we told we cannot come without an appointment. We eventually came in the next day which was yesterday to do a nail procedure that costs R495 and I truly believed that was such a waste of money. With that kind of a price you would expect the service to be on point. There is no warmth, the stuff there are just doing quick jobs so to get you out of there. My last experience with Sorbet in JHB was way more professional than that. Many saloons do nails for R250 and the treatment is way better than what we received. As much as we understand the impact of covid and the complimentary drinks also not being part of the offering, I also still fail to understand how offering a drink increases your chances of getting covid if all protocols are observed. This is just a cost cutting strategy and covid being made an excuse. This was the last time that I ever find myself in one of your shops
I made a payment on the 23rd January for my account. Their so called robot Tobi sent a link for the payment of which the payment was done but i received an error thereafter. The funds were deducted from my account. I called vodacom and the lady who assisted me took my details and advised she will make contact in 24/48 hours with a response. a lady called on an 082 cell number and advised that she will sms the email address for me to send the bank statement. that never happened and i eventually had to call again to get the email address. I sent the bank statement on tuesday to the POP@VODACOM.CO.ZA email address and until then nothing. This afternoon I call again and spoke to Njabulo Mchunu (27/01/21 18:35) who advised me that "HE WILL SEND AN EMAIL BUT NO SURE IF SOMEONE WILL ACTUALLY CONTACT ME" The nerve and the arrogance of vodacom employees to tell you straight in your face that they will ask somebody to do their job but not sure that they will do it is somehow appalling. I need my account to be sorted out ASAP and payment to be back date first thing tomorrow morning and for somebody to call me and explain why it will take so many days to resolve one issue.
I applied for a TELKOM fixed line contract on the 5th of October, spoke to an agent who advised that in 14 days it will be connacted. its the 23rd October and still nothing. I cannot even get hold of a landline number to speak to a consultant to cancel this nonsense immediately. i mean i havent even started and already these people are being ridiculous. I had heard that telkom was nonsensical but this is beyond. Please contact me ASAP.
I had booked flights for the 5th and 6th June 2020 of which the airline cancelled. According to their refund policy if they cancel the flight you are entitled to a refund and not they refuse to refund me a total amount of R3 594. I have sent in emails of which they take their own sweet time to respond to. I WANT MY MONEY TODAY, YOU ARE NO DIFFERENT FROM A THIEF, YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO IT, GIVE IT BACK.
On Sunday the 03/05/2020 my cellphone was stolen while I was travelling with Bolt taxi. I reported the matter on Monday Morning to Bolt who advised that they will investigate the matter. Today i receive a response from Matshidiso from Bolt whos response was a contact number of the driver and I have been requested to contact the driver myself. I would think with so many issues and complaints that people have especially with crime on these Bolt taxis that they would actually take these matters serious but it will seem they are protecting the criminals themselves. a lot of people use Bolt as they say UBER is expensive but your items, life and far worth more than the minor difference in those fees. I myself will never use this facility. a friend of mine also lost a phone on taxify but atleast he had a consultant that actually did his job and they managed to recover his phone. I will be posting on all social media pages and expose these criminals. I sincerely hope that one day we have enough complaints for this service to be cancelled. THESE BUNCH OF CRIMINALS SHOULDNT BE TRANSPORTING PEOPLE. This is the useless email address that they advise people to use for complaints yet hire useless people like Matshidiso!!! CRIMINALS
I purchased Need for Speed at Game City View on the 25th April 2020, We could not play the game as it was persistent on internet connection. We tried to return it after lockdown on 02/05/2020 which we were assisted with a new game yet the game still does not play. This is the 3rd time that we having to go to the same shop to change the game and using transport money to go there and we still not being assisted correctly. We have paid R699 for a game that doesnt even play. We bought this game so we can have something to do while on lockdown but it seems we have waisted our money. We do not have money to keep wasting going to game and not being assisted.
I bought Palladium boots online and submitted a request to cancel the order on the 18th April only to get a response 10 days later being advised that they cannot cancel the order due to lockdown restrictions. So they are able to process orders online yet cannot cancel them. I have asked for them to refund my money and they are refusing to refund me. I have not received the boot so i cannot understand why they cant cancel the transaction and do an EFT. If maybe they are under the impression that I do not understand the consumer protection act than they better think twice. I WANT MY MONEY BACK, I am never buying anything from that company.
