Overall this company gets a 0/5 from me. It is a real pity because the sales service is excellent. I must say Brandon is very helpful and knowledgeable and I think he is brilliant! However as the saying goes, "The chain is only as strong as the weakest link" and Phuteng's after sales service is absolutely shocking. A man by the name of David was used to do the installation and shortly after making use of the system we indentified that some plugs were tripping which I am told is an issue with a neutral wire being incorrectly wired. David promised us time and time again over a period of 2 months that he would come to address the issue and just never pitched. David is totally unprofessional and unrealiable and it is for this reason that I will never use this company again.
Vodacom confirmed on the 3 October 2023 that there was indeed ***** on my account. I have requested that the details be shared with me to I can understand how this could have happened and have received no feedback, and this is the reason for my review today. Also the credit that I received is not the full amount that was taken from me *****ulently and there were other *****ulent transactions. How can Vodacom have missed this??!
I am so frustrated with the ***** department. On the 5th September I reported that two *****ulent contracts were added to my profile. Alister from the Blue Route Vodacom store kindly assisted me to send a letter disputing the contracts. When I followed up using the reference I was given, their standard response was to ask for all the documents again. You have to remind them that there is an open case. They tell you it will take between 7 to 14 working days. It has now been 17 working days
In December 2022 I made the move from Johannesburg to Cape Town. The move was sheduled way in advance, and a few days before LG Share was supposed to collect our home contents, Gary Share (the owner) called me to tell me they were running behind a day. This was really stressful as we had everthing arranged and booked months before. This is where the trouble started and you can imagine how the guys rushed to load the truck and also rushed to get down to Cape Town. Apparently the guys had to make an emergency stop along the way and a few of my belongings got damaged. Gary said he would attend to the damage and asked that I send the furniture down to PE where he could fix. Unfortunately, I had a fridge and freezer door that was badly damaged and I could not send these down because understandably I could not live without my fridge and freezer. Gary agreed that he would try and find a repair man to come to my house to fix the fridge and freezer. I only received my cabinet back 6 months later. Without permission Gary threw away my planter box and claimed it was rotten. Thanks goodness I did not send my fidge and freezer down. To date, my fridge and freezer doors are badly dented and now Gary insists I send them to PE if I wanted them fixed. Unfortunately Gary is not one you can trust to get the job done within any reasoanble amount of time, and how exactly is he going to do a better job than a repair man specialising in these type of appliances.
These guys are not geared to deal directly with the retail market. They should only work with installers not the public. Make sure you know exactly what you want before you order and get it in writing. I bought an inverter and battery and was told all the hardware and connections were included only to find the opposite. There wasn't even communication cables included. Their after sales service is also shocking and I am still waiting for information to get my BMS working automatically.
This company gave me a 2 year guarantee on their workmanship. I reported snags after one month of the job being completed and for almost 14 months they have assured me they will come back. These days they don't even reply to my emails or return calls.
Norman Koster from Unitech is a very good salesman but his after-sales support is non-existent. He gave me a letter of guarantee which is worthless because I have been trying to get him to come back to my house to address snags for over 14 months now. The workmanship of his painting has proven to be terrible and only 1 month after the job was completed, did the exterior paintwork start bubbling. Some of the interior paint also needs touch ups. I have spoken to him on countless occasions to come back and attend to the snags and all I get are excuses after excuses. These days I don't even get a response or a call back. I have now given up and I will need to need to pay someone to come fix the snags.
I have tried in vain to change my address on the momentum systems. I sent my proof of address to make a change to my address and they asked me to provide my contract number and ID to confirm and verify my account with them, which I accept. However, upon sending them my ID they sent me my statements of account? Why would I need accounts when I asked for my address to be updated. I asked them again only to be told my address is updated when it is clearly not because I can see online is has not been updated. I am now being asked to confirm my old address when I have clearly ask for my addresses to be changed. The contact centre is absolutely useless and they have no way of following a thread of communication and each time it is new person replying to your email and asking the same questions and not actioning a simple request.

I have recently moved to prepaid and I manage my airtime and data very closely.

I had not had a chance to buy a new data bundle on the 1st April 2017 and I knew my data expired on the 31st March. I simply thought that I would need to recharge before long or otherwise I would not be able to use my internet and apps outside my home WIFI.

What I did not know is that Vodacom just takes your precious airtime at 2mb per minute! In half a day of being out and about, Vodacom managed to steal R200 worth of airtime from me.

To give you some context, in the entire month of March I managed to only use R150 worth of airtime and in half a day Vodacom stole R200 which apparently was consumed to run background data services on my phone.

What a rip off!!

My wife has been at department of labour twice and has been told that no one has processed her application.

They gave us a telephone number to call and no one answers. There is absolutely no service you can count on at the UIF. The employees are rude and never available.

The service is useless.
