Pss Car rental is very bad they make empty promises, My husband rented a car in December and there is a deposit you pay out first before you take the car , than they tell you in which date you will get your deposit refund back ...which u wait for 2weeks . Now they will tell you they still waiting for the financial office to give them feedback that they are proceeding....so this is too much now excuses everyday

I have been waiting for my deposit for more than almost 3 months, a very bad horrible customer service, they even attempted *****, at some point they ignore me, I am really not happy at all. Very bad horrible service. I want my refund.

Didn't receive our deposit back from them. Also had attempted fraudulent sim swap after sharing all our details with the consultant. DO NOT use these guys, they certainly aren't honest or legit.

I did rent a car on February 15th for one day and return it back the next day without any problems or damages. I paid all the fees with the deposit but after I return the car they haven’t given me back my deposit of R3000. I called them several times and we had some mail exchanges as proof. It has been 4 months now I haven’t received any refund. Pss car rental did steal my money and they don’t want to give it back. They are just liars and thieves

I had hired a car from them on the 19th of December and wanted to use it while my one was being fixed. upon my arrival i was helped by a gentleman who took all my particulars and after taking the payment and did not advise of anything about the mileage usage of the car. This was for a white Micra which I had borrowed for the weekend. So I asked the guy when should i return the car and I was advised before 17:30 on a Monday which was 21st December. On the day i was returning the car i received a call from a lady called Sihle from PSS who asked me at 15:23 when was i coming to drop off the car and I advised her that I was actually on my way, comfortably as i was on my way and also told her that I was meant to bring it at 17:00- 17:30. She then advised me to drop off the key at the drop off box. I did that and the next day i received a call telling me that i have gone over the mileage of the car, i then lost it and advised her that i was never advised about the mileage and was not going to pay for something i was not made aware off. My deposit was 3000 of which they helped themselves and took 700 from me for exceeding something that was not explained to me at all and i still have proof that its not even mentioned on the sheet agreement that I had. I was so angry and frustrated and told them to deposit my money back and would not do business with them ever again. I hate everything that has to do with people that know they are on the wrong and still have an edacity to take R 700 from my money. I will never do business with them and have advised my friends and colleagues to not use their service.

My deposit was 3000 of which they helped themselves and took 700 from me for exceeding something that was not explained to me at all and i still have proof that its not even mentioned on the sheet agreement that I had. I was so angry and frustrated and told them to deposit my money back and would not do business with them ever again. I hate everything that has to do with people that know they are on the wrong and still have an edacity to take R 700 from my money. I will never do business with them and have advised my friends and colleagues to not use their service.

@hellopetercom I hired a car under my son name with PSS at Lanseria Airport. Returned the car in good condition on the 22nd Jan 2020. Since then I am not receiving my deposit of R5 900.00 I call almost daily to be told it was paid but nothing in the account

They are not sincere with their contracting and really don't know what they are doing. I have rented a vehicle from them on the 20th of December 2019. According to their contract, in an event of an accident, there is no excess payable. Right before I rented the vehicle, we went through 6 or 7 dents and scratches on the vehicle, which I presume it was in an accident but never fixed. So I happened to scratch the front bumper and the light dislocated so they are refusing with my deposit. 1) Since the Vehicle is rented without excess waiver required during a time of an accident, in an instance where the incident like the one I had with no third party involved is deemed my delictual liability and the insurance would be using their own assessors - I have advised them that I need an assessment so that I can make a payment arrangement after assessments were made. There are no provisions regarding the withholding of my Deposit in such an event and the company has no authority to withhold my deposit under this particular understanding as the CPA have me protected on this but they still went ahead and withheld my deposit and today it's 27 December. 2) Secondly, there have been notably more than 6 dents and scratches on the vehicle which were recorded with Simon present which definitely came from a previous accident and a different client and I don't know of any assessment that can exclude such instances, making it difficult for a specific quote to be addressed to me individually. 3) Thirdly, they promised to get back with feedback regarding a way forward by 23 December and today is the 27th of December and there is no feedback. The deposit was for fuel purposes and I returned the vehicle with full tank and they are not willing to pay back the deposit. However , this is not the first time something like this had happened. Whenever I rent a car with them I don't get my deposit in time and they will have unnecessary excuses always. Which means, they want to always capitalise on Clint's deposits. You would be wasting your time renting a vehicle with them.

I have been trying to get my money back from this place for over a month now. The car was paid for until 11 October 2019 but we returned it on the 8 October 2019. All service that we received prior to this was brilliant until they have to return my money. I guess the courts will have to become involved. It is so sad that a promising business cannot cope with their own business principles. I have sent them numerous mails requesting the refund of my money and they dont even bother replying.
