This has been the worst customer service experience I had with any business. I have taken my vehicle in for repairs almost two(2) weeks ago since 17th February 2026, the service advisor Lizelle had **** to me on several occasions about the ETA on my vehicles parts and repairs. This is whilst the vehicle is still under warranty and the repairs and warranty claim has been approved. They have told me I will sit without a vehicle for another for another four(4) weeks as they do not have the part available. I have contact sever entities who have the parts available but Renault Alberton will not do the repairs under warranty if they do not source the part them self. I was advised after five(5) days I will be provided a loan car and have to pay a deposit. On Friday 27 February 2026 I asked when I can come for the loan vehicle as I need an exact date so I do not needlessly travel l. I was advised by the service advisor Lizelle the loan vehicle will be available today from 02 March 2026. I have arrived at their offices and they have asked me to leave as the loan vehicle does not come from them, none of which was indicated in the communication when I enquired. I have been renting a vehicle out of my own pocket as my insurance will not cover a courtesy car due to the vehicle being in warranty and I cancelled the rental on Saturday 28 February 2026 as i believed I would receive a loan car as advised by the services advisor Lizelle. This has made me rethink my purchase of my Renault and I will be trading in my vehicle immediately once it is back in my possession. I will also not be purchasing a Renault as this level of customer service will only continue in future. I will never recommend Renault to any friends, family or acquaintances. I have been a loyal customer to them for years doing all my services through the same people and attending launches of vehicles as well as joining the Renault car club to show my support but this has cost me time money that could have been avoided with proper customer service and communication. All of this can be corroborated through the various emails, recorder calls and whatsapps between myself and this entity. I have handed the matter over to my lawyers as the Consumer Protection Act has been blatantly disregarded. I have also reported them to several professional authorities as well as the ombudsman.

After a week of struggling to get the necessary assistance, Lefa was the one who came through and expertly resolved the situation. Very very very disappointed, at motus Renult alberton they give you good service when you busy with the application after that , they don’t take you seriously , they not afraid to tell you that they can’t assist you becouse they are busy , they keep transferring you to dead lines ,voice mail, I DONT RECOMMEND FAMILY OR FRIENDS VERY BAD SERVICE. I lost R200 air time trying to get my radio 4 digits code, and last time I took my car for service at MOTUS RENULT ALBERTON, it had oil all over and when I asked the reception lady she said this is not car wash very rude.

I have bought a car through finance of Westbank on the 26 March 2025 the car had signs on the dashboard when I took it the sales man told me I need to put tire pressure it will be fine ok I took it and I did what I was told but still kept talking to the guy he answer me after a week with no help from him then due to my work I'm always working only have a day off on Sundays. I told the guy still nothing from him come second month the car again gave me another problem says engine fault nd I was not driving it was using my other car. So I call the guy several times he told me after 2weeks that he was been ****** and stuff that's why he did not came back to me he needed to be ok first. Ok I ask about help he say I muss call Renault I did no answer get back to him he just read nd say nothing. So I need help really coz I took it to the Renault when it keeps giving me this problem they say they have managed to fix it I took it while telling them that I'm not happy with this car still got no help and I want to take it back they don't want to take it so I also didn't pay my installment so they can give me attention that I need can be paying for the car that is parked in my yard while I need to be help please do help coz it near put me nd my family in a very bad accident when I drove it it just take it self out of the gear be on neutral while the car is on motion he'd to be calm nd try to be on yellow line so now the car is at my house I need help thanks Regards S Nqabeni

I genuinely wish I had read the reviews before purchasing at this dealership, Motus Select Alberton. I am paying for a car that I do not have. Please save yourself the heartache and disappointment. After the sale is concluded, expect to receive no assistance from their sales agents, should any issues arise. I am currently paying for a vehicle that I do not have for the past 2 months, that has been faulty since purchase the past 4 months. I have received no courtesy car and I have to beg them daily for an update/feedback with no response. I too had to wait 2 months to receive a spare key or any assistance, they make excuses upon excuses and treat you as though you are the problem. Everything about their service goes against the Consumer Protection Act.

Upon discussing my concerns, they promptly addressed my issues with great efficiency, ensuring that I had a new vehicle by the following Tuesday, despite my visit occurring close to the end of the business day on Saturday. Now that I am the owner of a new car, I feel a significant relief from the stress and challenges associated with maintaining my previous vehicle. I recently took my car for a service at Motus Renault Alberton using the Liquid Capital service plan. However, the service plan did not cover the full cost because Renault replaced certain parts that were not yet due for a change. As a result, I was charged extra for these parts. When I requested a refund for the unnecessary charges, Renault Alberton refused, stating that I had already used the parts. Additionally, I found the management to be arrogant and unhelpful in resolving the issue. To make matters worse, Renault South Africa was unable to assist, which highlights their lack of control over their franchises. This experience has been highly disappointing, and I would caution others to be mindful of unexpected charges when servicing their vehicles at this dealership.

Every year since I bought my Renault capture in 2016 I used to take my car in to be serviced at Renault Alberton and I paid so much money to them.. This year my brother in law did everything only to find out that Renault was putting parts in my car that is way too big and it started damaging my water pipe alot of my pipes and things in the engine was loose and not clipped in where they took it off.... I went to the branch and the manager told me that the guy that did the service the last time left the company not taking responsibility I didn't employ that person Renault did unacceptable Renault must take responsibility for their employees when they mess up
