The lady Kgomotso and the manager violated section 15, 41, 67, of the CPA, after I told them to keep my old engine, but it was disposed, I made arrangement 3X to collect my engine I hired a bakkie twice to collect my engine, because the was a buyer who was willing to pay me R10k to R15K, but the manager told me about s**** price, and offers to give me R4000 and he was doing me a fever.

Worst experience ever. I am very disappointed in the horrible service that I received from Renault over the past 9 weeks. I brought my car for repairs on the 6 of January 2025 and the estimated deadline to get my car fixes was approximately 3 weeks because they didn't have the turbo and they had to import it. I could not be given a courtesy car because I was going to relocate to a different province, and they said I could only use the car in Joburg. After 3 weeks passed, I was then told that they needed to order wiring, and they could not give me an ETA. Week after week I called the dealership to follow up on the progress and every time I could I was told that they are still waiting. Eventually the wiring arrived 8 weeks later and when I called again expecting that they would say my car was ready based on a called made the previous week I was told that the wiring did not arrive with all the parts and it would take an additional day to get that part and once that is done my car would be sent for testing and the released. I then called the workshop manager to lodge a complaint, but he didn't answer his call and then told that I should sent him an email and he would call me the following morning, something that he did not do, and I had to call again and that's when I spoke to another manager who followed up on the progress of the car. The workshop manager only called later that morning. This experience has left me extremely disappointed in Renault. I was undermined as a client, and it was very evident that they did not value me as a customer. I used to proudly defend Renault and had convinced a few people to support the brain but never again. I hope I never have to interact with such *********** people ever again and I will definitely not be staying with the brand for long. My advice to people is that if you plan on taking your car to Renault The Glen, these people are ***********, and you will need to follow up consistently. So just use a different dealership if you can. For people that are planning on buying a care from Renault do it at your own risk. When people say these cars don't have parts they are not only speaking about the aftermarket but they are also saying that the official dealerships don't have parts and they wait for a million years before they get part which is a going to be a huge inconvenience for you, the client

It is with great disappointment that we write this review. My car was booked for a fitment of a side mirror (glass only). I was advised to get there before 7 am on the 8th of July 2024, to ensure quick service. I was advised that it would take longer if I brought the car later on (Aproximately 2 hours). So I arrived at 06:50 and my car was second in-line. I was offered a drop-off by one of the gentleman working there but decline due to the information given to me regarding the time it would take due to me being early. After two and a half hours I decided to checkup on the progress, all available people at the help desk were busy, so I decided to go and have a look myself, I could see my car was busy idling so I thought it should be done, as I got closer, I could see one of the worker sitting in my car (still idling), after a minute or the another gentleman came up to me and asked if he could help me whilist the guy in the car didn'teven notice me. I asked him what the progress was, only to see for myself that only the inside panel of the car had been removed and nothing else. So I assume that it take more or less 3 hours+ to chage only the glass of the side mirror. If they knew it would take longer than what was communicated, they should've been more transparent.

I bought a Renault Triber (2023) from Group 1 Renault Alberton in September 2023. At that branch the service was commendable. Fast forward to June 2024 the battery died, literally. I took it to The Glen for replacement and was unceremoniously told it is impossible. Despite having the car for a mere 09 (nine) months I was rudely told the battery is past its warranty and I therefore cannot claim from it. The service is at best deplorable, inhumane and outright disrespectful. They made it seem as if I am responsible for their substandard battery. I am highly disappointed at their poor service which will inconveniently cost me to their unfair benefit. -Thabang

I booked my Renault Clio IV for service on the 22nd of December with Ref no: 69986. Upon arriving just before 7am, I packed my car awaiting instructions. Note that there was no vehicle inspection done with the owner. I was then shuttled home. Later in the day I was called that my car was ready. Upon arrival and paying for the service, I noticed that my Renault Clio Front Emblem Logo cracked and that my driver side window rubber had a chemical stain. I went inside to advise the lady who was doing the admin. She came with me to the car and advised that she will check the cameras and get back to me before close of business. Note that I was never called. On the 27th of December, I made my way back again to Renault The Glen where I spoke to the Service Manager. I explained and showed him what happend. He too, took photos and advised that he will call me before close of business. Note again that I did not get the call till today. Not sure if I am being taken lightly or they just dont care.

ABUSE FROM THE MANAGER! We called ahead of time to find out if a specific vehicle was still available. We were told it was. We traveled 45 minutes to the location only to be told that the vehicle was no longer available. My husband was very annoyed and requested to speak to the person who informed us the vehicle was available. The manager refused and began to shout and swear at my husband. The manager got up from his desk and came around, aggressively approaching my husband and screaming and swearing which I could hear from the parking lot. As he aggressively got into my husband's face, my husband pushed him back defensively without any shouting or swearing. The manager went crazy, screaming and swearing. My husband left the office to avoid further confrontation at which point the manager addressed my elderly mother "You can get out too!" The shouting and swearing continued as we drove out. No apology was offered that we were given the wrong information and no offer to take our contact details in the case of another vehicle becoming available. The manager immediately went aggressive and swore at my husband and mom which escalated the situation when he was clearly at fault!

The most pathetic service I had ever received from a dealership. My vehicle went in for a warranty claim 3 weeks ago and in 3 weeks nobody has called me back to advise the status of my vehicle. Cecilia that claimed that they are better than Carter Melrose Arch promises to call back with feedback and to date she has not called me back once since after my vehicle has been received by their establishment. I will never buy another Renault again. Their service sucks. George, The DP has promised to give me feedback that was 15 May 2023 on my call to him at 08:27 am
