RSS in Port Elizabeth offer amazing service. They're friendly, accommodating and do a fantastic job. Today they checked and made a minor repair to the suspension of my Tiguan at no cost!!!!!

Good afternoon I wish to thank you and your team for the fantastic service I received from RSS. From the reception right through to the workshop I experienced not only friendly but professional, expert service. In a world where it seems to be only "all about the money" this is almost unheard of. Baie baie dankie. Vir die eerste keer in 8 jaar werk die Fiesta se "steering rack" presies soos dit behoort te werk. Ek sal julle definitief aanbeveel by 'n ieder en elkeen. Ettiene - 21/07/2023

Hi Guys Again, I'm sorry it has taken so long to leave this review. Our Volvo had a leak from the power steering so after a quick browse online, I saw the RSS website. I immediately knew that I wanted the car to go there. I wasn't wrong to think that. The whole team is fantastic. Not only that, the workshop is spotless, the equipment is awesome, and everyone was so nice. The car is perfect again now, so... THANK YOU GUYS !! These guys are the best at what they do. I've been in the motor trade for 48 years so I know when I'm being taken for a ride or having the wool pulled over my eyes. Our car was also valeted to really high standard (I had a valeting business in the UK for many years) so I was extremely impressed by the whole show. Keep it up you lot. Steve (&Sue)

Disgusting customer survice. Left our car in to have the power steering unit checked and asked for a quotation before any work was done. They started the work with out approval. Then when we get back to collect the car the paint has been completely destroyed there are oily hand prints all over the doors, bonnet and even the bumper under the bull bar. These “specialists” used benzine on a plasti- dip paint job and tried to give the car back with out informing us that the paint was melting all over the side of the car. After noticing befor we left and asked them the manger came to talk to us and was so rude and started blaming us and laughed in our faces when we asked to talk to the owner and for our money back. She was so rude and one of the other staff members commented that they have had many complaints about her behavior before. There solution was for us to drive back a nearly 2 hour drive a week and a half later once the owner has returned so he can look at it and talk to us about it! Fuming

RSS (Revolution Steering Specialists) might just be the worst company to deal with when taking your vehicle in for steering rack problems.
1. You never get to see the owner, manager or even a mechanic!!!
2. You ONLY deal with the receptionist (that might well be the person working on the vehicle, because you cant tell her anything about vehicles - "She knows it all".
My husband took his bakkie in for steering repairs - He told the receptionist that it is the steering pump that needs repairs. - after 3 days we get the bakkie back (R12,000.00 later) and the bakkie is STILL making a funny sound when going around corners or even just turning the steering wheel slightly. The receptionist is of the opinion that its only air pushing trough that's making the funny sound and not the steering pump. (Which I seriously doubt!!!) My husband asked if they can have a look at the problem AGAIN - Now they are just stalling - apparently too busy to even have a look at the bakkie.

When booking vehicles in for quotation purposes the owner extort money form potential customers when they request to collect the vehicle for comparative quotes. Unless the amount he claims is paid the vehicle is not released. This is in direct breach of Consumer right no 3: right to choose, when this was brought to their attention and that the reason for the quotes is to follow internal procedure to get three quotes, they indicated that they don't want the business but we still need to pay the \Quotation fee"in order to get the vehicle released.
