I will never recommend Rothmans Auto to anyone. I was misled regarding the Mercedes Benz SLK I bought from them in November 2019. The car is an Accident Repair vehicle. I took it to Maritime Motors and they gave me a Comprehensive Report on the vehicle. It even had a Ford exhaust system fitted. There were so many safety issues, ranging from dodgy engine mountings to faulty struts and much more....yet Rothmans Auto could arrange a Roadworthy Certificate for the car. We are now heading to the High Court, for I am now challenged to recoup every cent due to me. I only had the car for 2 days, before the gearbox packed up. Rothmans Auto will appear in the media soon regarding this matter. Stay away from them....

I recently had the pleasure of buying a car at Rothman's Auto. Ron and Cobus were both great. Their professionalism, expertise and friendly service turned what was becoming a nightmare exercise, into a joyful one. 24 hours after viewing the vehicle and taking it for a test drive, we took ownership. We needed a car fast and other dealers just couldn't deliver the way they did. Thank you Ron and Cobus. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the market for a car.

I bought a Toyota Aygo through Ronald at Rothman's Auto a year ago - not only is it the best car I have ever owned, it is by far the best dealership I have ever dealt with. <br> <br> I got a flat tyre a few weeks ago (a year after I purchased her), only to discover that I had not been given a jack and spanner with the car. I immediately contacted Ronald, who without even a question, stated that he would arrange one for me, at absolutely no cost at all. I then got a second puncture, and Ronald came to my aid to change the tyre and noticed that my tyres were extremely warn. He asked me to visit his showroom that week, which I did. He went out of his way, organized 2 brand new tyres for me and at a great discount and supplied my vehicle with a jack and spanners. 22/02 i saw a car that I really liked at Rothmans Auto. A Ford Territory, I corresponded with a sales consultant regarding the car and he advised me that the car was in high demand and he would reserve it for me, obviously feeling really important I went ahead with closing the deal. I signed on the 26/02 but because of faults on the car and the dealer's inability to road worthy the car I couldn't receive the car yet. The car was roadworthd on the 13/03, on the 20/03 I 'Borrowed' the car, it was not valeted yet and agreed to return it on the Monday. WhiIe driving it I noticed a vibration in the car and a loud thud when the ABS kicks in. I told the dealer about these problems. The dealer replacd the Bushes bt couldn't fix the brakes he advisd me to take it to my personal mechanic. He submitted a report and quotation to the dealership. 6/04 I fetched my car again. A wk latr the electronic window switchs packd up and none of the windows work. I took the car back to the dealer but Graham Ball told me the warranty nds to fix it. Thn the centre bearing of the prop shaft packed up. I took out a personal loan last year and have had issues with it from the start. Last week Sunday I went in to pay the loan up as well as my store card. I went to customer services who told me how much I needed to pay and was advised that I had to come back in two days to close the account. On Friday I went to close my account only to be told that I still owe!!! I then speak to the customer services manager, Penny. She says she will make sure that Ruwayda from head office gives me a call and she herself will personally follow up with me regarding my complaint. It's now Wednesday, and no phonecall from Penny or Ruwayda. I had to call Penny to follow up, who said she will come back to me. She called me back to say they will definately call me today. Well, still no call. I am very disappointed in the manner in which Woolworths conducts business. I want my accounts closed and I will never set foot in another Woolworths store again. Woolworths is ripping people off and I'm sick and tired of this. When we confronted him and told him not to attack us he said to us I don't get angry I get even. When we refused to pay for the bill he then sent over 8 tequilas which we did not want... He then continued to swear at us as we refused the drinks he brought. When we left we had seen he had parked in the disabled parking, when we commented about it he replied it's my place bitch ill park where I want to. I have never in my life been treated like that by anyone ever. I would like to thank all the guys at Rothmans Autos for the outstanding service I received when purchasing my car, Ron Kenyan, you are the best, thanks for my new baby. Gordon Erasmus thanks for all your help in getting my deal approved and for you awesome personality. I have never experienced such professional service, never once did any of you hesitate with any queries or concerns I had. In the few days it took me to sign the deal and finalise the whole transaction, I was able to meet the whole Rothmans team, You guys are the best, I will NEVER deal with anyone other that ROTHMANS AUTOS in the future. I could go on for ever about the great service I received, but unfortunately Hello Peter only allows me to say the minumum. Keep up the good work guys, Ian Rothman you can be super proud of the team you have. Will catch up with you all soon
