SA Floors Flaws
Jacques Malan is unprofessional both in his service and in how he conducts himself as a person. If I had to rate this company I'd give them minus stars. in fact not a star at all. And I see on HelloPeter they have -100. They said it would take 4 days, it took 10. And it's still not done. Jacques assured us there won't be a single speck of dust because their machines have vacuums in with bags on the sides that collect the dust. They arrived with other machines and made so much dust we couldn't be in the building, even the office building is still coated in dust. They arrived at 9.30am on the first day of work and couldn't begin til 11.30am because they had to wait for Jacques to arrive with the correct plug. Jacques drops his team off without supervision. The team grinding our concrete floor had no dust mask or protective eye wear at all. only when we told him it was wrong, did he go and buy for his guys and bring it on day 3. He said they would work night shifts, they did not. Our floors are not only incomplete, but they are ruined. The concrete has been damaged, the sealant is not double coat whatsoever, the floor is not sealed. Other contractors coming for other works have commented on the shoddy work, not knowing anything about it. it's been 4 working days since they stopped showing up for work and they hasn't come back. after 2 days Jacques came for a walk through, with long stories. The product he has used is not food safe, as we have in writing he said it is. He left all his rubbish behind even though we've been told 'his guy will be there within the hour'. The admin is shocking, with incorrect VAT amounts and incorrect details that take 3 or 4 days to correct, or not at all as it now stands. They are still emailing invoices?! good joke. I feel sorry for JP in the office and all Jacques's employees

SA Floors bad service
SA Floors came to "fix" their mess after a big fight and an extra R12000 we had to pay for product to do the fix. Product, Rock Solid Garage floor kit, that they advised us to use. Photo's below is taken appox. 48 hrs after they "fixed" it. They still had rooms to do... We get no feedback, nobody answer if you phone. So disappointed with the service and mad at ourselves for not doing more homework before we started using SA Floors. Stay away.

SA Floors bad service
SA Floors came to "fix" their mess after a big fight and an extra R12000 we had to pay for product to do the fix. Product, Rock Solid Garage floor kit, that they advised us to use. Photo's below is taken appox. 48 hrs after they "fixed" it. They still had rooms to do... We get no feedback, nobody answer if you phone. So disappointed with the service and mad at ourselves for not doing more homework before we started using SA Floors. Stay away.

WARNING! WAARSKUWING!
Rotten scaly workmanship and after "service". This company and Mr Jacques Malan has several complaints against them. Company has been voluntarily liquidated in 2019, but they still operate under this name. When threatened with legal action, Mr Malan argues that his company is busy closing down. Just to proceed again ripping of someone else!

Company has been voluntarily liquidated in 2019, but they still operate under this name. When threatened with legal action, Mr Malan argues that his company is busy closing down. Just to proceed again ripping of someone else!

be warned about Jacques and sa floor
Horrible horrible service by these crooks .. i had the misfortune of dealing with Jacques and sa floors, R70 000 floors which have cracked and lifted after 3 months. With numerous attempts to call Jacques who simply does not pic up or his occasional reply to my desperate whats apps, he has repeatedly promised to send someone to fix my floors but no one ever turns up, he has also declined to meet me in person and now suggest his business is closing down ... be warned people .. pls contact me to join up in taking him on legally ireymond1@gmail.com

Extremely Unacceptable Workmanship
We've been in business for many years & have used a lot of companies for different reasons but I honestly have to say SA Floors was our worst mistake ever. They came out and did our warehouse of which we almost spent R80 000 early last year. We've been trying to get them to come out & see their unacceptable workmanship as our floors has been peeling of since June last year. We keep talking to Jacques who keeps making promises to come out but as soon as he knows we called him from a certain number he then blocks that nr so we unable to call him. We took some pictures and wanted to post it here but unfortunately there is no option for posting pictures. We too are currently liaising with our lawyers as we want to take legal action against them. Jacques Malan needs to know that he's quality of work is nothing but a total RIP OFF!!!!

SA Floors - Stay away
Had our floors done by Jacques Malan owner of SA Floors, Coatings and Maintenance Group of Companies, Rock Solid Garage Floors. I contacted Jacques to come and look at our floors because our floors was cracking and lifting. Jacques sent one of his employees to come and take pictures of our floors. After a week I asked Jacques for feedback on my floors and he advised me that he is waiting for feedback from his supplier and that 80% of his clients has problems with the product ........ I phoned the supplier and asked when I can expect feedback, they advise me that Jacques never contacted them and said that they will come and look at my floors. They issued me with a report advise that the failure lies with the application of the product and not with the product itself. On the same day I sent Jacques the report. He then immediately blocked me from phoning him, he also doesn’t respond to my emails and on the same day he conveniently liquidated his company SA Floors but is still in business according to google............. Please be aware of Jacques Malan. Take the time to read ALL his reviews on all social media platforms. You will just waste your time and your money. Jacques gave us a 5 year warranty on the product and workmanship but when we contacted him he had numerous excuses and gave us the run around for a month and still no feedback……. He is never available when I phone him, and he also doesn’t respond to emails or return phone calls. Please don’t waste your time and money on any of his services and products.
