Put a claim through in November with savm, still waiting for my claim to either be approved or declined. Sent numerous emails to customer care and service consultants but they dont respond. Rather opt for a bidvest policy where your installments are cheaper and you get a better service.

If I could give them a zero I would. Terrible service. Lodged a claim, went to a repairer (who is not close to me by the way) for a quote. Sent all necessary documents within 24hrs of making a claim. Did not receive any response from savm after a week. I called in only to be told my pictures are not clear enough for them (no problem) I took more pictures and sent them to them on that very same day. Again I receive no feedback from them I call in after another week this time to be told they can’t zoom into the picture of the damage and I need to send them a picture again. Which I did. Again no feedback. It’s been over month since lodging the claim. I have called them on 3 separate occasions and sent an email and I’ve received no help. Would not recommend them to anyone.
