Really disappointed in the quality of the oils here, it is very poor. There is little to no scent. An example is the Bath & Body works Dark Kiss (a scent that is recommended for home use which includes diffusers). Its as if I didn't add any fragrance to the diffuser base (even at a really high concentration in my attempt to salvage some sort of scent). I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I didn't bother emailing the company with my dissatisfaction because of the stories I've heard about how poor their customer service is, so I saved myself from another potentially disappointing situation.

I recently visited the Scentlab store in Modderfontein with high expectations, having been a long-time customer of luxury fragrance brands (SKINS, ARC). Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. I had made it clear to Precious (Front Desk) that I had called their business number and made the person on the line aware that I would be returning their products (2 fragrance oils) due to my disappointment in the quality of the perfume oils (Poor silage, use of synthetic oils, etc.) Upon arriving, Precious called Zama (Sales Rep), who offered a replacement to which I declined as I did expressed that I might encounter that same poor quality with the other options. I understood that she would not be able to make the call on a refund to which I requested I talk to her direct report. This is when things went downhill. From the moment she arrived, I was met with a dismissive and condescending attitude from the Sales Manager (Thandiso). Despite expressing my knowledge and passion for fragrances, I was treated with disrespect and even questioned about my legitimacy as a fragrance enthusiast. The Sales Manager's behavior was unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Such treatment is not only a reflection of poor customer service but also damages the reputation of the Scentlab brand. I subsequently contacted Scentlab on the 12th of December 2024 directly, including the Founders Justin and Hudson, to express my concerns and request a resolution. However, my emails have been completely ignored, further demonstrating their disregard for customer satisfaction. I urge potential customers to proceed with caution when considering a purchase from Scentlab Modderfontein. Their treatment of customers is unacceptable, and I believe it is important to share my experience to prevent others from encountering similar issues.

I had the most horrible experience yesterday on 2024-03-07 at about 15:30 at this establishment. While collecting an order that was paid for the day before. And told that it will be packaged and ready for collection the day after. I saw people pay and immediately leave with their orders. I asked what the cause for delay was and was told they had issues with their systems. Despite having asked them to then cancel the samples, as it seemed to be causing more of a delay and i was under pressure with time. My request seemed to fall on deaf ears. Eventually i left without my order at Scent Lab, Linbro Park.

Very disappointed with the corruption happening in that place when it comes to interviews for new employees..If you don't know anyone who works in the company or a relative you can't get a job.We feel used we were called for an interview and the only thing we did was to serve their customers until 1 pm they told us to leave and let us know via WhatsApp if we made it.

I am very dissapointed by the branch in Johannesburg,A well known company like them doing corruption,We used our last cents to attend the interview only to find out that they already gotten the lady they where looking for,The girl's relative/sister works there so they didn't even interview us but just taught us the system,They never took our Cv or cellphone numbers but they took our names and the lady said we should whatsapp to find out if we made it like really,When we got therein the morning the lady they already hired was so comfortable doing ups and downs in the offices with her sis while we wait at the reception for nothing,We got there before 8am and went home after 1pm claiming to be selling and learning their system,I am angry because I wasted my last cent and cancelled my other interview only for them to be corrupt,Why did they waste our time?So all of us went out after everything and the lady they hired remained to continue working,We really deserve better as youth. We were all angry and dissapointed but what can we do besides talking about it.

I accompied my mom to your lab and I was shocked with how great the service was. The staff was totally friendly I even remember the name of the lady who assisted us Amo. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

VERY BAD AND POOR SERVICE DELIVERY TOWARDS SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS , FROM THE LADY IN THE FRONT DESK CALLED THATO TO THE INDIAN LADY AT THE BACK CALLED IRESH OR WHAT THEY GIVE YOU BAD ATTITUDE WHEN PURCHASING , RETURNED AN ORDER OVER TWO WEEKS NOW NO UPDATE OR WHAT SO EVER.
