Disgusting 🤮 Service by Shalene Schreuder Attorneys
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by the Shalene trustee of my trust. It has become increasingly apparent that the trustee is unwilling to approve any requests I made, and I get paid a monthly stipend of R1000 a month, which is way too little for living expenses of a 43 year old with 2 infants. I have pleaded with them numerous times but no she just doesn’t care, she recently rejected my request to start a small business even though I had attached the business plan, she didn’t even had the decency to respond back, I had to call for her to give me the news, which has led to significant frustration and concern regarding the management of the trust. The trust was set up under circumstances that raise questions about the legitimacy of the affidavit, that stated that I can’t handle my own finances which is a complete lie and they are aware of that. I am of sound mind and can very well take care of my own finances even better than them. The lack of responsiveness and the refusal to consider reasonable requests have created an environment of distrust and uncer*****y. Given these issues, I am requesting that anyone that can help me appeal and be removed under Curatorship and have this trust terminated, please share the information, I will come back to check. I know they won’t respond to this, ****** ****mers.

Disgusting 🤮 Service by Shalene Schreuder Attorneys

<div>I have experienced extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate behavior from this law firm. I signed a lease agreement and paid the full deposit and rent upfront for a property under their management, only for them to inform me, on the evening of Thursday, that my application was no longer approved—just one day before I was due to move in. This left me with only two days to find alternative accommodation for myself and my minor children, a highly stressful situation that was entirely avoidable. Further compounding the issue, my full payment was not refunded to me in a timely manner. Despite my urgent need for the funds to secure new accommodation, I was still waiting for a refund on Monday morning the last of the month, with no communication from their offices. Why was my money not refunded on Thursday, after they had informed me that the lease was no longer valid? Why accept payment in the first place if they had no intention of honoring the lease agreement? Their staff has been unhelpful, and to date, the attorney involved has made no effort to address this situation, despite my repeated calls and emails. After a considerable delay, I was only refunded half of my money, which has left me in an even more difficult position. I explained to their office that the full refund was necessary to secure new accommodation, but this has clearly not been a priority for this firm.I am deeply disappointed by the lack of care shown towards my situation, especially when it concerns the well-being of my children and my ability to provide stable housing. I would not recommend doing business with this firm under any circumstances, as it is clear that they do not regard the importance of a roof over their clients' heads. It is Tuesday morning the beginning of a new month, I have had to had to hand over keys to the previous property and still no full refund or contact from this firm or communication, I strongly do not recommend doing business with this firm</div>

I'm homeless
They sold my house promising to by me another Hous ein a safe area. Now I'm homeless because they refusing to by me a house they took the money. Dealing with these attorneys is causing me Depression. Now I'm taking sleeping tablets every night

Attorney's with the worst service
Very unprofessional service, they do not adhere to court ordered agreements ( that they suggested). They forgot to finalize an agreement made on 26 July 2022 for changing of ownership of a vehicle for over a year now. After the agreement was reached in July last year, they gave me no feedback and i had to follow up multiple times until they gave me something in writing to say that the vehicle belongs to me in August. I informed them that ill need the paperwork to finalise the roadworthy of the vehicle and was met with no feedback. Thereafter, i had to follow up multiple times again to get the agreement settled. But got nothing. 9 Months! After their promises, they still have not adhered to the finalising of the court ordered agreement. I have been phoning them multiple times the last two months and yet, nothing has been finalized. They rarely or dont phone you back after promising to do so. The lawyer that has dealt with this case is Antoinette Oosthuizen, she clearly does not do her job because its a very simple court order that has not been finalized. I have also dealt with Zane who, stepped in to assist as Antoinette stopped responding to my emails. He has tried to assist but it seems they cannot fulfill the court order due to miss communication in the company and or lack of care and poor professionalism. I have been promised to be phoned back on so many occasions, but never do. I must phone them and remind them about their agreement. To date nothing has happened. I wonder how many other court ordered agreements they have not fulfilled... Maryna O'Connell

Fed up with Attorneys
Good day My name is Fazlin Daniels.About 12 years ago i was in a road accident which caused a lot of injuries.I then claimed from the road accident fund with the help from Arendolf Attorneys.After waiting 9 long years for the case to be closed,i got a settlement but was not present at the court.When the case closed i was placed under curatorship with Shalene Schreuder Attorneys to handle things.i use to live in an informal settlement where gang violence occured everyday.and all i wanted was to buy a house in a better environment for my grandparents and I( they raised me all my life). After a long process and a whole lot of arguments with the curators,they bought a house for almost R600 000.but to buy a car was out of the equation.my grandfather passed away last year,now it's just my grandmother and I.we only now discover that the house has many problems which should have been inspected and fixed before them purchasing the house.we only live in the house for 2 and a half years.the geyser is broken and leaking but we have never even used it.the toilet pot is leaking water.the electricity consumption is high but we don't have a lot of electrical appliances.we get 30 units per R100 and it only lasts 3 days but we use a gas stove and have unplugged the freezer and stove.I want to sell the house now and buy a smaller house so that i can buy a car as well since the curators doesn't want to.i am partially disabled but through God's grace and mercy I am able to do everything the Doctors said I would not be able to do.I am only 38 years old and wants to live my life and enjoy it.i am in need of a vehicle.The curators are now blocking me from selling the big house.I can make decisions for myself,i am of sound mind and not a invilid.i need help please.what can i do to be able to make my own decisions.Everything i ask them they decline.u get a small stipend from them.to fix the geyser,my grandmother had to use her pension to pay the plumbers and and still waiting for the money from The curators.i have had problems with them from the beginning.they made me wait a whole year to purchase a house after the claim Paid out.The person that was handling my case rented me a house in Delft for R4000pm for 6 months.only to find out in last year that the Main curator didn't even know about the renting of that house.they gave me a house that is in a poor state.i won't even get the money I paid for it when I sell it because of the condition.please help me.what can i do about this???? Each time I want to make an appointment to go to their offices they refuse.i am capable of making my own decisions.

I was put under curator ship they have been tossing me from one to the next never do payments on time lost so many business opportunities that could have grown me because of them they mostly never answer their phone, they would say the person dealing with your matter is not in, once the receptionist made rude remarks abaout me on the phone not being aware that they had not hang up the phone, tried my best to be removed from curatorship and yet im struggling with their letigation lawyer i have to be the one going to the high court making follow ups regarding my court order and they took their fees from my trust account where as the job is not done Yet, they say they are highly rates and trusted and i believe that its because no one is aware of their dealings or has a platform to report them if ever you want to do business with them stay away they are very dishonest inhave seen people being chased away i even have a video i took of how they would not even let me in as far as reception and i wanted my maintanance money! Now im going back with antoinette who was representing me at high court, im removed from curatorship and ibhave not gotten my court order yet and my funds!!! They treat most people like this i have witnessed it during my consultations with them!
