Why has shop4tools not been shut down and the fraudsters behind it brought to justice?
I bought goods to the value of R355 online from the shop4tools website on 05-Jan-19. I made the mistake of not researching the website's credentials before making the purchase! When following up non-delivery of the goods, mails to any address on the website bounced. The questions are why has this website not been shut down, and why have the perpetrator(s) of all the fraudulent transactions noted on hellopeter not been traced and brought to justice? Or is the POPI Act once again merely protecting the criminals???

Fraudulant company?
Ordered a wifi extender from them on the 3rd January paid for by eft (amount of R322) reflected on my bank account on the 3rd Jan. No delivery. Various emails have solicited no reponse contacat number stays engaded and since the 22nd January the website is down.

I placed my Black Friday deal order and paid in Nov 2018. Order #SP2346 confirmed. To this day, 17 Jan 2019, I only received the PERCOLATOR yesterday??!! I'll add my voice to the crowd here. Ordered and paid a fortune for a 5.5kW generator. We received the generator on time but it had a few scuff marks on the outside. This didn't bug us much but when the electrician came around to install it, we discovered that there was also no oil in the engine, the battery was completely flat and the carburetor was leaking, possibly missing a gasket. We phoned them to complain and they said they'll arrange a courier to collect the defective one and then replace with a new one. The couriers never came (it's almost 3 weeks now). Subsequent calls went unanswered and the company's main phone number has been disconnected. For other readers, note that the one single good review of this company is almost certainly fake.

Shop4Tools a fraudulent online shop, do not buy from them!
Bought an appliance from them and paid via EFT. Sent Shop4Tools the bank POP, not a word of confirmation - they just use automated response emails. Their telephones and emails are not answered. I have seen from others that they have not received their goods either. Standard Bank wants to charge nearly R300 to reverse the EFT and they say that if the shop refuses the reversal I lose that on top of what I have already paid for the product. From checking on their domain reg I get the following details; maxitools.co.za / shop4tools.co.za Victor Moima 368 Oak Avenue, Ferndale, , Randburg, Gauteng, 2194 +27. ********** 33 / ********** 966 ********** Taking our hard-earned money like this without sending the ordered goods is theft and the shopsite should be taken down before further people lose their money. A case of theft/fraud will be opened against them/him.

There is nothing excellent about shop4tools online. The Victor that is being glorified by Eugene has failed to respond to the customer goods and services ombuds. If this company and its employees had any integrity they could just refund the many South Africans that they continue scamming money from.Quiete frankly ,I have two words for shop4tools online and it is definitely NOT “thank you”.Id appreciate it if they delivered my appliances as ordered or refund me immediately, it’s been five months already.... Their phone is off ... Their emails are not replied to... What is this?
