I had a really good experience with Silvex during my claims process. They were supportive, professional, and always ready to help when I needed assistance. They made the process feel much less overwhelming and gave me confidence that everything was being handled properly. I’m very grateful for their help and would definitely recommend them.

WARNING: Do not allow this company to do any assessment. They will put false diagnosis so that your claim is rejected, even stating false statement by the technician.

Silvex sent technician to check my washing machine. The guy took pics. He was a new guy and clueless. He kept on phoning someone to ask what to do. They told him to dismantle the front were the motherboard was. He put it back leaving *****s on the machine and went. After 3 days I phoned the insurance company and they said they have not receive the report. So I whatsapp Silvex and asked them. Someone oh name Leeann said they need the job number. I told her I did not get a job number from Momentum Insure. I asked her how did the guy come to my place without a job number. She had a very bad attitude. And never ever came back to me. I this is mickey mouse company. Bad service ice unreliable and clueless. I'm so unhappy. I don't know why we pay insurance companies for the bad service with there 3rd party. I'm extremely unhappy as I'm waiting over a week from Momentum who has 2 immature Consultants who today did not send me a report. They are so rude and arrogant I honestly what happened to SO CALLED SERVICE FROM COMPANIES LIKE THIS I Email Momentum complainant dept. No response. The guy that came out said there was nothing wrong But he didn't even check if water was coming into the machine. How can photos do the job This is the worse service ever

I was so satisfied with the professionalism of Ron and his son. They came to my property and was very friendly. They went over each item with me and explained why they were covered or not covered. they did extensive testing and even checked the plug sockets to make sure there was power. Thank you very much for your service.

Silvex did the assessment for my laptop on a claim with Momentum and refused the acknowledge that if a computer fall that it could be damaged even if it is not completely destroyed. The fact that my laptop now has a damage motherboard according to more than one service provided is in their opinion wear and tear. The claim got rejected due to there incompetence. Silvex brought back my laptop yesterday and it was just shoved into the bag, and nothing was packed up properly. The charging cable was still plugged in when they pushed it into the bag, and it broke off in the laptop. The person who delivered the laptop wanted me to sign a document indemnifying them form the damage they caused.

They were supposed to assess my laptop for a claim with Momentum. The person they sent to dot the assessment told me he doesn't know anything about computers, and he just took a picture of the laptop and told me they will assess it form the picture. He said he need to confirm that the laptop exists. They then submitted a damage report to Momentum stating that there is nothing wrong with my laptop. I tried everything in my power to contact them but none of their numbers are working. I drove to their offices that doesn't exist and after consulting with Momentum one of their employees met me on the side of the road. She gave me her so-called private number and promised she will be in contact. She took the laptop and told me that if a laptop falls the screen must be broken or die machine must burst or crack open for them to state it is damaged. My IT guy told me that they something inside must have been damaged when it fell but it is very difficult to pinpoint it and he thinks it is the motherboard and it can’t be fixed. I told her that seeing that they say there is nothing wrong with it they must then fix it. She took it and told me they will write a new report. I haven't been able to get in contact with them since and it has been two days. The laptop fell and is not working properly since the 14th of February, and it seems that nether Silvex nor Momentum Insure cares that I don't have a laptop.

This company is not to be trusted. They have sent out an assessor (CAT Electronics) to determine why our CCTV DVR does not record. Discovery Insure was told the hard drive is broken and they therefor rejected the claim. We believed them and ordered a brand new hard drive. It did not work. We ordered a second new hard drive that also didn’t work. It became evident that something else was wrong. We decided to purchase a brand new DVR and hard drive but the same Provision model. I tested the new power supply in the older machine and it worked perfectly. A lot of money was wasted. They were supposed to properly test the system. A new power supply sells for only R132. Further testing revealed that the hard drive only received a bit more than 6 volts and not the required 12v. This is why it did not record. Do NOT trust these people!

Dissapointed customer, This company is the worst!!!!, They gave the insurance false and in accurate asse*****t, which resulted in my claim being rejected, i had to ask for a second opinion because what silvex cape town said did not make sense, if an insurance gives you this company , please refuse and ask for another company, i also see they have alot of bad reviews on google and here on hellopeter aswell, i would not recomend this company for any insurance , i still dont know why any insurance is still in business with them
