I have a complaint about the Smile No Repeat Song promotion!!! On Tuesday 14 June 2022 a song was played twice, first time it was played before lunch and the second time it waa played at about 3:30 the afternoon. I then called the station and was given the live show number which I called and phone was answered by a guy......I didn't ask his name.....I told him I was calling for the no repeat song and he said which song was it and before I could answer he lead me by saying Is it Whitney Houston and I completed his sentence by giving the name of the song which is How will I Know......and he wwnt on and said 15 other people called and gave the same song! He told me to email Justine and Justine is denying that the song played twice!!! How can 15 people be wrong????!!! Is this a fraudulent promotion or what??? I am sure that your calls are recorded and please go to my call with one of your employees and hear that he said I was not the only one that called and said the same song!!! This is wrong!! After a couple of emails going back and fourth with Justine she finally sends me an email to say yes there was a repeat after all and the first caller wins. I went to look at ghe completion rules and no where does it say the first caller wins. I told her that that is not mentioned on the competition page but she didn't reply. I noticed today on the radio that tbey are now saying the first caller wins which is something THEY DIDN'T SAY BEFORE!!

Thought this was the best radio station in Cape Town but they are all a scam and lie to their listeners!! They had a competition for existing listeners to get someone to switch to their radio station via their app, I got someone to switch and they called her and promised her a "brag bag" of goodies and that we are in the draw to win R5000 each...we were both excited and till this day we never heard from them..no feedback and response at all This is not the first time they disappointed , I sent am email months ago to support and help my campaign but they never responded and didn't say if they would be able to help or not...very bad experience

Thought this was the best radio station in Cape Town but they are all a scam and lie to their listeners!! One would think after all the recent BAD PRESS this radio station got, regarding their play on words advertising, regarding the 2 Million competition, that they would be a little bit more responsive to their listeners. They have put it out there, a kind of NO REPEAT WORKDAY challenge, whereby should any of US (their should-be-valued listeners) hear a song on a Workday be played more than once, we may bring it to their attention, and even earn ourselves a little money to the tune of R10 000.00 - quite a novel and clever way of showing they have SUCH confidence in their programming department, to NOT allow songs to repeat (which lets face it, is the gripe of most of us when it comes to Radio stations) - HOWEVER, i DID spot a repeat, and although i made it quite clear that i did not MIND the fact it repeated (since i happen to love the song), i was hoping to earn myself that R10k (being Januworry and a single mom). So, i sent the info through their app on my cellphone, once....got no reply or response. So the FOLLOWING day, i sent a SECOND message via the app.... STILL no reply........ so a few days later, i sent them an EMAIL - on the 23rd of January to be precise. Until now - its been FIVE days on, and i have STILL heard not a single solitary WORD from anyone at the station. Are these folk so FULL OF THEMSELVES, they've become totally COMPLACENT??? Or are they just plain ARROGANT , rude and lacking in the common courtesies of GOOD MANNERS...which includes ANSWERING WHEN SOMEONE SPEAKS TO YOU...be it via YOUR APP.... or an email...!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING....
