One of your agents came on the 23 December to take photos of the house we are renting. I would like a email address to forward the photos an videos I have taken of how she left our house. The total disrespect is amazing. The house was not left in the same condition. Tooth brushes was left on the floor next to the toilet. Car and house keys was left in the wash basin in the kitchen..... Everything was moved around. According to my kids she brought her own props for the photos which is an insult on it's own towards me and my wife.

Still have not received my deposit from their Ranburg branch/representative since last year August 2025 with no communication as to why. All calls and whatsapp messages have not returned, let alone any clarity provided. Didn't expect this from a company like this - rather disappointing really!

I am a client of the Pretoria east branch and the level of service is shocking Whether renting or buying please think twice They never answer the phone claiming to be too busy and don’t resolve issues as committed They infringe on your privacy rights not being held accountable

We recently dealt with Jonathan Alexander and Paula Giusti from the Sotheby's office in Muizenberg, Cape Town about selling our home and we cannot recommend them more! They are both efficient and professional. If you are looking to sell your property, they are the agents to contact!

Sotheby's agent (Lizelle Smuts) goes above and beyond to secure your business. Unfortunately, once signed on as a client, the service received is incredibly poor. Landlord needs are not prioritized but rather what's best for Sotheby's commission.

I had the displeasure of dealing with extremely rude and pushy agents, Kira Maartens and Yakshay Maharaj would made my purchase experience seem forced. Rather go with another agent who is more grateful for your business.

From the bad experience I had with 2 agents at Sotheby’s Randburg I turned to social media and eventually got some assistance. I got his details sent him a message and had to follow-up with the call he promised. He apologized on behalf on the Agents and agreed they did not do their duties or handle the situation correctly. I sent everything to him as requested and he was going to make a suggestion on the Monday. I had to follow-up again, he then goes off at me, not allowing me to talk, he forgot what he committed to yet goes off. After that he did nothing. When the transfer attorney’s were working on the letter, I said I would like an update for my lawyer and also not to forget about the Agents as they too need to be held responsible, he then carried on and on wanting my lawyers details, like testing me. He needs to learn people and communication skills and to just listen, extremely rude, disrespectful man.
