Ordered gas on Friday, received message on Saturday that my order had been processed and proceeding to logistics. Enquired what time will the delivery be made exactly there was no communication. Apparently they don’t work on Sunday but they don’t specify that delivery will only be made during week days. Come Monday after sending a message that I won’t be available during the day. Still no reponse from them until I called the office only to find out my order is on the way, even though I asked them to bring it at a different time as am at work and there is no one to collect my order. I was told I’d get charged for changing the delivery date. So had to leave work, driver threatened to leave if am not at my place in 15min. Drove like a maniac just to get gas cylinder. Honestly as a first time customer I will not bother ordering from them next time. Poor service, this was not worth the trouble. Order at your own risk ✌️

Stargas is the only agent for Kwikot gas geyser After waiting for 2 days to come and have a look.They came and fix a flow meter but not the problem Then they gave me a lone unit after another 2 days Then after 11 days they send me a new price The price to fix a geyser is over R6000 in total. This is ridiculous If it is Kwikot or Stargas the bottom line me as a customer are getting nailed

Absolute useless service.!!!!! Bought products online. After waiting 4 days, my order still reflecting in progress. Called to query why the delay as the local branch sent a WhatsApp to confirm stock. Employees are rude and arrogant. Asked for matter to be escalated to management. Found the particular manager not equipped to deal with the matter. Once you ask for the order to be cancelled and refunded you are given the MARKETING DEPARTMENTS contact number to send them your bank details on WhatsApp.... What the HELL.... have you ever even heard of POPIA ??? I have been a longstanding customer of Stargas.. NOW I WILL NEVER EVER EVER in my life buy from you again

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received from Stargas. On 27 May 2025, I paid them the full quoted amount of R23 800 for a Totai 16L gas geyser and complete installation. We chose them even though they were the most expensive quote we got, because we trusted the Stargas name. Big mistake. Their quote clearly states the full installation is included - from gas to plumbing. Yet when their team came to install on 2 June, they couldn’t switch the geyser on due to a “missing pressure valve.” No one followed up. I had to chase them multiple times throughout that week just to be told I now had to pay extra for a part that should’ve been included from the beginning. Eventually, after escalating to their manager Daniel, they sent a quote four days later for an extra R3 000. I was shocked. Had I not paid upfront, I’m confident this would’ve been resolved quickly. Instead, because they already had my money, I was pushed aside. After complaining, they dropped the quote to R1 800 - which I paid simply to get it over with. The geyser was finally switched on ten days later on 12 June. A job that should’ve been completed on 2 June dragged on because of their poor planning and lack of communication. But it gets worse. To this day (28 June), I still haven’t received my gas compliance certificate. I followed up on 13 June, then again on 23 June (at which point they suddenly needed info they’d never asked for before), then again on 26 and 27 June - still nothing. It has been a full month since the initial installation, and the job is still not finalised. I had to pay more than what was quoted, and I’m still chasing them. To make matters worse, there’s no complaints department listed anywhere on their website - no accountability, no customer care, no urgency. I would not recommend Stargas to anyone. I expected professionalism and integrity from a well-known brand, and instead I was met with delay tactics, broken promises, and extra charges after full payment. Shocking.

I purchase a gas cylinder from Star Gas. When I changed to the cylinder they delivered, I found that it is leaking. I called in as early as 8 am on Monday, they promised to come out and replace the cylinder. To my surprise, no one did, and no one bothered to call me until I called again today (5 May 2025) at 11:50. They still told me lies that management will call me. Their concern is about protecting their reputation, yet they are not worried about the hazardous nature of a gas leak in my house. What a Pathetic service

Ordered 20 meters Tracpipe (special gas pipe) online from them. Got the run around for days as the advertised price was "incorrect". Then suddenly out of stock. Eventually refunded. Advertised price should be the price you pay. ****mm
