Formal Complaint and Refund Request for Misleading Purchase
I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent purchase I made through your portal. The notes I purchased were completely mislabeled and irrelevant to the subject they claimed to cover. This is a clear case of misrepresentation. Additionally, the seller stated that files should not be downloaded, yet your portal's design makes it impossible to even view the file without downloading it first. This contradiction is highly misleading and puts the buyer at a disadvantage. I was left with no choice but to download the file, only to discover it was not what was advertised. Now, I am being denied a refund on the grounds that the file was downloaded — which, as explained, was necessary to even access it. This is entirely unfair. Furthermore, I find it troubling that your portal allows such materials to be sold without any verification of their quality or accuracy. This lack of oversight severely undermines buyer trust and raises questions about your platform's integrity. I am therefore requesting a full refund. I believe it is your responsibility as the platform provider to ensure that products sold through your site meet basic standards of accuracy and relevance. I look forward to your prompt resolution of this matter.

Stuvia eats your money
Stuvia plays ********* with sellers I m unable to access my credits my own cash ,I dislike the idea that 200 rand is minimum when wanting to withdraw your cash. They take more money from your sales and give you peanuts in return .Students such as myself are never in control of our sales revenue .Stuvia plays the big boss here and we students only 25 percent of each sales.I am disappointed as a seller

WASTE OF MONEY
I have purchased notes twice on this app, and honestly, it's a hit or miss. I, unfortunately, have missed twice. The quality is horrifying, and it costs a lot of money. I would not recommend it. Multiple-choice questions were added in my most recent purchase, and the answers were wrong. Don't waste your money here like I did.

WASTE OF MONEY
I have purchased notes twice on this app, and honestly, it's a hit or miss. I, unfortunately, have missed twice. The quality is horrifying, and it costs a lot of money. I would not recommend it. They refuse to credit my money that's on my stuvia wallet. ****merish behaviour!?
I have a stuvia credit on my account and the document I want to purchase is only a few rands more which means there's no way that I'll be adding R250 to my stuvia wallet especially since my studies will be over after I buy this document and there will be absolutely no reason to use this site anymore. I went ahead and I reached out to the help centre and they said they will credit me my money a month ago . I waited and i noticed that they didnt credit me my money . I reached out again and they refused to credit me my money! First they gave me excuses saying I gave them the wrong branch code when I clearly did not ! . Then they tell me to look for a cheaper document when there's none . I have looked and I don't think it's very professional to tell me what to buy with my money !? . Absolutely pathetic customer service, I don't recommend putting money into your stuvia wallet because come the day you no longer need to buy documents from here . You mostly likely will be given the run around and then refused . Isn't this ****merish behaviour ? It looks that way to me and I most certainly will not recommend anyone using this site .

DO NOT BUY DOCUMENTS FROM HERE . ITS A ****
I was running short oj time and have extended my course for a month that cost R1000 . A week ago I purchased a document from a seller, I didn't realise this document was written in 2021 , didn't follow any structure whatsoever. My tutor told me this document is clearly very wrong. I contacted the seller who tried to help me with the assignment and it was clear that she actually didn't know how to do the assignment. Since I already downloaded this document I asked her for 50% of my money back but she hasn't rep**** since and I'm unable to view her document to put up a review. This has wasted my time that I bought, may I add and money . Stuvia is very unreliable especially if you're in a rush . Stay clear of this ***** website. Even their support team was no help to me . I guess they support ****mers more than their customers . I do t recommend this website to anyone.

They allow ****mers to sell old or incorrect documents on their website. I received pathetic feedback from my tutor and I'm unable to get a refund. Stuvia has been a terrible experience from me . Steer clear away from this dote , rather do the work yourself instead of failing and getting ********** .
