I was at the hairdresser 2 weeks ago and had received a cut when i walked in the stylist was complaining about wanting to go home as they were finishing early that day my appointment was at 15:30 and they were closing at 4pm i had asked for a wet cut initially they had just wanted to give me a dry cut as this was also too much effort for her i specifically also asked for more layers the stylist clearly doesn't know what shes doing and shouldn't even be a hairdresser im extremely dissapointed by the poor service i received they weren't wellcoming and if less time was spent on complaining to leave and more time spent on the client then maybe it wouldn't of been such a disaster!THIS WOMAN COMPLETELY ****ED UP MY HAIR IT LOOKS WORSE THAN BEFORE THE CUT And i PAID FOR THIS SERVICE MY ENDS LOOK HORRIBLE AND THE LAYERS ARE very short on top it doesn't fall nicely as it should im having to tie my hair up more now than before and it doesn't look nice at all when its wet or blow dried she cant cut for **** bad service and unwellcoming staff!!! And definitely a waste of money!

I bought two manicure vouchers for gellish overlay. My first impression was when the lady over the phone spoke in a unprofessional way.

When we arrived for our appointment, I did not experience the lady who helped us as friendly. She did not introduce herself and was not very helpful with questions either. She did not paint my moms nails the way she asked and she flatly refused to do a simple nail art.

The kitchen paper on which we put our hands was dirty and she did not change it. The nail oven was very dirty; i hated it. There was staff sitting around us, talking very loud while eating bubblegum quite unladylike.

To top everything off, our nails started coming off the second day already. We are very disappointed and I strongly suggest that no one visits this salon.

- don't bother booking an appointment because i don't think they understand the concept. Just walk in on the day you want your hair done and wait to be seated (although I would strongly advise you to stay away from this group of Neanderthals altogether)

- don't bother emailing them or the owner about any concerns as you will not receive a response.

I made an appointment for a groupon voucher via telephone and asked whether I could email the voucher through to which the lady over the phone obliged. When I had arrived I was seated for 20 minutes before sent to the basin where I waited another 5 minutes. When the stylist arrived she asked me what I was having done without even a hello or introduction first. Even though I was pretty specific with what I wanted when I had booked the appointment, I figured she probably asked just to get the conversation going. I then told her about the groupon and she asked me to present the voucher before starting with my hair. When I explained to her that I had sent an email to them with the voucher and that the lady I spoke to said that this was okay, the stylist told me that I needed to get the voucher printed as they do not accept it via email. She then expected me to find a printing store before starting on my hair, and mentioned that she had already made the mixture for my treatment which "is quite expensive" as if to intimidate me to get the voucher printed so that they don't waste their product! I would have put up with even that but the nearest printing store was quite a walking distance and I wasn't okay with walking that far for something that was not my fault at all.

I left that salon not happy with how I was treated and called another branch to book an appointment as I did not want the voucher to go to waste, when I explained to the lady what I had just experienced she sounded bored and as if she couldn't care less. I then got a voicemail from the previous branch explaining that I "left in such a hurry" and could come back if I wanted as they had messaged the owner who confirmed that the email was received, I think that was their attempt at an apology.

I'm not suprized at all that after emailing my experience directly to them that I have yet to receive a response.

On Sunday the 15th I went to Sunflower Hair salon to have my highlights done, they started to tint my roots which is not the usual process for highlights, after many tries and seven hours i left the salon with my scalp been burning and yellow hair, I had to put in unpaid leave for the Monday to go and rectified my hair at the salon that cost me another R900, after I had to pay R900.00 at Sunflower already, few days after that my scalp sarted peeling from the burning, Mishka send me an email asking form my bank details, they phone to offer a treatment which I was not interested in because the day the other salon saw my hair they send me home with products to try to rescue my scalp and the dryness of my hair, I am utterly disgusted in the service and the no feedback, i want my money back that I spend to make right their mess.
