Exceptional and humane treatment filled with love and respect
Yesterday I took my baby to the vet and received an overwhelmingly exceptional service and treatment, from when I arrived, informing them that my baby wasn't well, to him being immediately taken to the back and then meeting one of the most compassionate, understanding and kind doctor who didn't only take care of my baby but also comforted me and putting me at ease. I was updated on the progress during the day as I had to leave him for care and observation and when I fetched him, the doctor was again compassionate and took time to explain everything and answered all my questions. She didn't only treat my baby but myself too Thank you so much Sunninghill Vet, you are amazing 😍😍

These people likely killed my cat and smirked as they did it
Avoid these guys unless you want your animals harmed . “Bob” clearly finds it amusing when animals are in pain and suffering and are close to death, He couldn’t hold his amu*****t for almost 7 minutes after seeing my cat , near death, after being in his care for 12-17 hours. When I left my cat with them he was fine; a lethargic version of himself. When I collected him, this animal who normally loves people was in so much fear he was ***ering with his face pressed into a urine soaked blanket , I’ve never seen him like that. He couldn’t walk: was struggling to stand and was soaking his own urine and struggling to breathe and “dr Bob” found it so amusing he was giddy and smiling. What did they do to my animal, who is now in fourways near death? And why does that amuse dr chuckles? That sick psychopath. My cat was so weak when they slammed a metal cage on his tail he couldn't even react. These monsters don’t care at all.

Sunninghill Village Vet: Quality service, extra mile, lasting relationship
Since I was new to the dog parenting world, I brought my dog to Sunninghill Vet Village for a routine check-up. The Dr. was very friendly and thorough. She examined my dog from nose to tail. She detected an ear infection and some plaque on his teeth. She booked a dental cleaning for him. But on the day of the cleaning, they noticed that his gums were pale. They contacted me immediately and requested permission to do some tests. They found out that he had two types of tick bite fever and that he was anaemic. They informed me of everything and offered me choices for treatment (alternatives for cost purposes). I decided to let them keep him overnight with a drip. They were awesome. They sent me a lovely photo of him all snug and a charming message from him. They fed him delicious stew and showered him with affection. They also sent me a letter with all the facts about his condition. I was able to visit him that afternoon. They kept me in the loop and rep**** to all my queries. I was anxious about the price since I was still waiting for the pet insurance to kick-in. They gave me an estimate upon request. When I paid, it was almost exactly what they quoted. Worth every cent! When I came to pick him up the next day, a vet came in and instructed me how to continue treatment at home and provided me with printed discharge instructions. This gave me such peace of mind that everything would be okay. As a first-time dog mom, caring for a sick dog can be daunting. Sunninghill Village Vet treated us with compassion, excellence, and efficiency. I highly recommend entrusting your fur babies with them.

Sunninghill Village Vet is great
They explain everything in so much detail and even call you after to follow up on your pets health and treatment. Such a great experience with them. The staff goes the extra mile to assist with information regarding travelling abroad and trusted companies to use. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. They care about your pets almost as much as you do. They give lots of information so you'll leave comfortable and confident in your pet's care.

Sunninghill Village Vet is great
They explain everything in so much detail and even call you after to follow up on your pets health and treatment. Such a great experience with them. The staff goes the extra mile to assist with information regarding travelling abroad and trusted companies to use. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. They care about your pets almost as much as you do. They give lots of information so you'll leave comfortable and confident in your pet's care.

Great service from Sunninghill Vet
The Veterinarian, Sam, at Sunninghill Vet is very caring, considerate and does follow-up on her animal patients. For me this was unheard of and I am grateful and appreciated her concern and her feedback. I would recommend them to anyone from any area in Johannesburg.
