I ended a contract in 2024 and am still paying R850 for it.
I ended a contract in 2024. I returned the router. Reported the issue, had multiple tickets with this issue "resolved" Yet MTN are still charging me for it.

*******ly obtaining my details, marketing to me, rude call center agents too
I've just gotten a call from a very unprofessional call center agent who 1- Refused to see if I could talk and essentially acted as if Discovery is entitled to my time, while I am working 2- did not mention the call was being recorded, as they should 3- got flippant and offended when I told them they were being rude 4- Then refused to say what company they were calling from 5- refused to give their names to be reported I WAS going to get a Discovery life and medical aid, etc - That is NOT going to happen now. They keep calling from: +27100192485

Not a real freelance platform , you can't cancel your sub easily. You're going to get contacted by people that do not exist in reality. They're just bots that message everyone, but you can't get them on linkedin, meta, email, calls. Stay away Stay away

Getting calls multiple times a day from these people “why did I call you” - I don’t know , you called me
I cancelled my policy because these guys don’t actually do the things they claim to Now they just call me randomly and don’t know why. 3 times today “I was told to call you, you’ve cancelled your policy , why am I calling you” - how the ffff would I know, I didn’t ask you to call me. You keep calling me. 5 times this week, 3 times today. I think they believe I run law for all and I tell them to call me. This may surprise them; I don’t run law for all. Or their crm. So if someone did tell these to people to call me, it wasn’t me. But they insist on being rude, as if I actually asked them to call

The subscription is a **** - you get nothing and they never stop debting you
I've sent in emails and tried to cancel the subscription multiple times. I got it last year wanting to watch Alien and deadpool, and have been trying to cancel ever since. I sent in emails saying the cancel option is not on my account since october, they've taken R1450 from me with me trying to cancel repeatedly

MTN Double my contract - 0 conversation with me
Freakin ******* I should have a contract for my phone for 240 (Got my phone cash and I am always on wifi) and a data contact, that costs 129 a month. Yet MTN is taking well over R700 a month from me. Claiming "Your subscriptions is..." No, it was not. Never agreed to that at all.

Fool me 100 times shame on me. As usual L4A not doing what they say they will
Again, same issues, promises, no service. All talk. All tin and no beans. Not 1 thing they claim to offer is delivered on. I've tried most of the reasons you'd use this membership and these guys drop you on every single thing you ask them to help you with. You have a claim? they're going to misrepresent your side of the legal issue. I lost well over R60'000 with the false claims in their advertising Ask them to mediate, they won't. They'll make you jump through hoops then not do anything. Or they out right refuse. Want that legal advice all members are supposed to get? IF you're not on the top tier you're going to be told off and treated like you don't have a right to call - yes, it's a marketed benefit and in your policy, but that's not going to stop them from pretending like you're not entitled to it. Honestly, save your money. R200 bucks for this is a total waste. Platinum plus is an absolute joke.

Miway just cancelled my cover for no reason, 2 months in, after I did all I was asked - refund me then.
I have done all I have been asked for but just got a message from miway saying the bike I have paid installments on is not insured I have setup the app. I have sent in images. I have an email and certificate confirming cover But I just got a message telling me I am not covered unless I take my bike in for an inspection, So what have I been charged money for? Why were your agents lying to me and telling me u am covered ? Why did they lie telling me I just needed to send in images and that was good and I am now covered ?

Sponsor a race in a residential area and refuse to let residents into the homes they own
The arrogance of these people They host a race in bedfordview and have metro police who have no marketings names or badges on working for them. And they block off the area I live in and refuse to let me go home. The absolute arrogance of their organisers, as if Momentum have the right to tell people they're not allowed home, in an area Momentum are visiting. I come home at 8am and am held up on my road for an arrogant woman to tell me I am not allowed home until that afternoon, then a cop who won't tell me his name and has 0 identifying marks tells me the same. How that's legal I don't know, but I am going to find out.
