In the last many instances of purchasing rotis from this company, we are sold rotis that are not fresh. On Friday I purchased 4 dozen rotis amongst other items and all went bad within a day. Called the store and asked the staff for the manager's name, and they won't give his name because “they're not allowed to give out such info”. So what are they hiding? Six months ago, I bought vegetarian pies -- one pie was a chicken pie amongst the six! And I am a vegetarian. Contacted them to no avail. Taza is selling old food stock, which was not the case previously. No return calls and arrogant staff. My advice if you purchase from them -- unless it's warm packs of rotis, don't buy it because it's old stock! This has happened too many times. The guy behind the counter was handing our sample of a mini roti filled with potato only to have each customer reach into the container with their hands. Then he hands a customer one with his bare hands.

I placed an order over the phone for the second time and specifically requested that it be packed in a certain way, as it was being sent to JHB via courier. They ignored this request, but that’s not even the main issue. The real problem is that when my order arrived, it was incomplete. I called the store, and Shaun answered. Instead of taking responsibility, he tried to shift the blame onto the courier, even though their only job was to deliver which they did and theirs was to ensure that I get what I paid for. I (nor the driver) was never given a receipt—neither this time nor the last time I ordered and I’m being asked for a receipt I don’t know of. Now, instead of correcting their mistake, they are telling me to send another courier at my own expense to get the missing items. This is completely unacceptable. A business should ensure that customers receive what they paid for, not push the cost of their errors onto them. Disappointed and won’t be ordering again.

The most horrific manager called Travis. I ordered early in the morning on whatsapp for delivery today to be delivered before 12. I explained why and gave enough time for delivery. Im 10 minutes away from them. They didnt deliver. I had to call and find out what happened. They gave me some story about the driver saying we were closed but we were not. Then said driver will be contacted. Nothing. I closed office and had to call them myself. Travis screamed and shouted at me as if he w as doing me a favour. I was paying delivery fees.then continued shouting me. Then cut my call. I waited for his delivery guy. Nothing. Tried calling him n no answer. Finally 45 minutes later i received my order and still had something missing. Then i called now to speak to another manager and travis from the back is still going on saying sending an email complaint wont make a difference. I am shocked beyond words. Never dealt with a person like him before in my life.

Pathetic service from Adhil and Manager Luke. I normally purchase an average of 25 packs of roti a day and now being festive upped my order to 40 packs and telephoned the store to inform them. To my surprise when my driver gets to them they deny having received the call and had no rotis available for me at all. I now have a situation where I cannot provide service to my consumer because of the above mentioned.
