Dealing with Tim and his team is seamless. They are professional and have a the right experience required when you need advice on any issue you have with your pool. From advice, quoting and doing the actual work. One of the few contractors that can be trusted. Thanks Thatch Crete!

What a fantastic experience! Thatch Crete did a complete revamp of my swimming pool, bringing it into this century! And an entertainment area that is not only value adding but stylish to boot. I'd definitely recommend Thatch Crete for any swimming pool and building projects. The are neat within timelines and professional. Thank you Team Thatch Crete!

I would like to thank Tim for our beautiful swimming pool. I have to give it to this company - They are awesome. From day 1 that Tim walked in by us to quote, he was professional and kept all the promises made. He has a very efficient administrator, Uanita that kept us in the loop with arrangements as they progressed with the pool. The final product is just perfect - just as we wanted it. With joy, I can recommend this company to anyone.

Tim has now made contact with us and apologiesed for the service. He has confirmed that he will schedule a date and time next week to inspect the bubbles that have appeared on the steps of the pool.

We used Thatch Crete some 22 years ago to put in out rock pool which we have been very happy with, In October last year we calked in Thatch Crete to quote on re ***menting the rock work which had faded with time, Tim came and told us that the coping needed redoing and the fiberglass needed recoating which we agreed too and gave Tim the go-ahead to do the required work. At the beginning of this year we had algae on one of the sides of the pool and again contacted Tim to have a look at why we were battling to brush the algae off. After numerous calls Tim eventually came out to have a look at the pool which we had already treated to try and remove the algae. Tim sprinkled HTH around the pool and told us to let him know the outcome once we got back from a road trip. At the end of March we noticed that the fiberglass on the steps of the pool had small bubbles and we once again SMS'ed and called Tim on his cell phone but unfortunately the calls were dropped and after four weeks we have heard nothing. we contacted the office and Uanita called back and informed us that she would talk to Tim and either he would call us back or she would let us know what he would be doing to sort our problem out. That was a week ago and we have still not had a response from either Tim or Uanita.

Very disappointed with the bad service from Thatch Crete. We had a pool made smaller in 2018. A few months down the line in 2019 we realized the fiber glassing was coming loose just under the coping. I reported the issue and was promised it would be fixed. It is now April 2021 and still no repair on the pool. I had an independent pool inspection done at my own cost through the National Spa & Pool Institute and the report detailed what needed to be done to sort out my pool. Yesterday two guys were dropped off at my house and started with the job. When I realized that they were not doing what was outlined in the report I called John to ask why they were not following the procedure as outlined in the report. He was rude and aggressive and told me that unless I allowed the guys to carry on with the work as he had instructed them, he would bill me in future to do the repairs. He had no intention of repairing the pool according to the method set out in the report. So I would be getting a bad job on top of an already bad job. Quite unbelievable.

We had a pool put in about 1.5 years ago costing R85K, after completion we noted fine crack on the fist step. We reported and asked if we could have the repairs done in winter, with Covid and all it was understandable that it could not be done, however I started contact them again in July trying to get a date for the repairs, they promised before end August, then end September and now we are in October and still I have no idea when they are planing to do this.
