Worst meal I have ever seem
I have been going to this Butcher and restaurant for many years, The Braai Room, Lonehill I got to know the owner (Dannie) very well I had a Lamb Potjie a few days ago It was not even good enough for dog food Bones with very little meat, 85% bones, 10% fat

Shocking Non-Existent Service on my sons 30th Birthday (28 April 2025)
I took my son who turned 30 yesterday (28 April 2025) to The Braai Room Lonehill for his birthday lunch. On arriving we ordered our drinks and food, the drinks took over half an hour to arrive, and still the waiter got the order WRONG. I then went to see the manager who took his SWEET TIME to come and see me (I was waiting in the bar area and he could clearly see me waiting!) He then came over, never introduced himself, and proceeded to ask what was wrong. I told him that waiting for our drinks for over half an hour was UNACCEPTABLE and the fact that the order was wrong. He never apologised, and said "we can sort this out" to which I rep**** "never mind, cancel my order" and I walked out. To say I am disappointed with the apparent service is an understatement!!!! It was my son's 30th birthday and between the waiter and the manager, neither gave a damn. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and give it a 1000% THUMBS DOWN. Goodbye The Braai Room, you will never see me again!!!!!!

Worst treatment and service by Braai Room Lonehill
The booking was made for group. We arrived at the venue at corner with proper arrangements for a big group. When the manager (Hansie) was asked whether can we be moved elsewhere. Ge refused saying we are going to be unruly. We arr fir staters fir so long and they arrangers were in plates instead if platers as ordered. And randomly placed with no coordination. Waited for nearly two hours for mains. Also when they came no crockery was provided. Also placed on plates again no coordination. The waiters behaved as if ordering the drinks was more important than having food. Even the food was not well cooked. This was the worse place I have been. Come to think how much money we spent we really deserved a better treatment. Braai room lonehill doesn’t provide the experience worth paying for. Will visit braaivroom again. Terrible

Great waiter service.. just dont order anything from their kitchen
[Sunday 14 Jan| 09h51] Great waiters but really bad service from the kitchen - how can an egg and bacon order take more than an hour? I was also the first person to arrive when the restaurant opened. The 3 other tables that then arrived afterwards placed their orders and all received their food... I was then eventually offered a cold plat of food... imagine!

Best service
The Braai room in Lonehill is the best. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is nice and ambience. My family and i thoroughly enjoyed it, we were celebrating my daughter's 2years birthday.

Best service
The Braai room in Lonehill is the best. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is nice and ambience. My family and i thoroughly enjoyed it, we were celebrating my daughter's 2years birthday.

Great setting and view for a Jhb restaurant
Friendly staff and management team. Great setting and view with a deck and lake and TV dining room and quality children play area. Superb ambiance for a Jhb restaurant. Menu is quite expensive. The blue cheese salad is definitely over priced!! I have always enjoyed this restaurant! Numerous friends feel the beers/wine and meals are too expensive

Friendly staff and management team. Great setting and view with a deck and lake and TV dining room and quality children play area. Superb ambiance for a Jhb restaurant. Menu is quite expensive.
