I am trying to allocate this Jasmin owner of this business she has my wedding dress, apparently she has closed down her shop, and is missing in action. I have open the case for her, anyone that could help with her whereabouts I just want my wedding dress back

I myself paid Jasmin an 80% deposit last year June 2018 to start the production of my dress and veil. 5 months later Jasmin had told me the dress was done in Spain and was on its way to durban in November 2018 and I needed to pay the balance of the dress. Which naively I did. The dress was then held up in customs for 2 months and I only managed to see the dress in January 2019. Jasmin was now on maternity leave and I was dealing with her poor assistant who seemed to be drowning with all the work she had to do. At my first fitting I walked into a disaster. The dress was made way to short, my measurements were taken incorrectly and the dress reached me me mid calf and the entire proportion of the dress was all wrong. It fitted disgustingly! Jasmins assistant tried to convince me to potentially patch the dress up to make it longer and that the rpiblem could be fixed. My veil also had issues as it was a single layer and not a double layer veil as I had wanted! I refused to have a patched up dress and so demanded the dress was to be remade. I changed my design to something more simple so that there wasn't a further delay with trying to match lace etc as all these communications seemed to be a struggle with Jasmin in the first place. Jasmin had agreed to this and told her assistant to tell me that they would fix the problem by remaking me a new dress and that they would rush the production so that I would have my dress in 60 days. This was all promised to me in March of 2019. 60 days came and went and I kept asking Jasmin for updates and got a stone wall. After a long message to jasmin, Jasmin told me that she was doing me a favor by remaking my dress and that production would take 4-6 months for normal production. This was not normal circumstances as she stuffed up my dress and promised to have it ready in 60 days. Therefore going back on what was promised to me. In June, last month I contacted Jasmin telling her that this customer service is shocking and I want my dress by mid July latest. Jasmin didn't acknowledge the message, but instead sent my a picture of the start of my new dress. I have not heard from Jasmin since. She has not spoken to me in over a month. I have contacted her in all platforms and it seems she has disappeared! Her phone is off and she has not answered any calls or messages in the past month! I even went to her shop on Windermere road only to find locked doors and was told by the shops next door that they had not seen Jasmin in over a month. I am starting to stress as she has been paid in full, R15000 and I still do not have my dress a year later. Her service is shocking and I will not sit back till I find this woman and sue the **** out of her!

Good day! Clearly this is a trend and this lady - Jasmin is a fraud. She was supposed to refund me my deposit for a detachable skirt for my wedding as well. What do you know, my wedding took place on the 29 March, I returned the skirt on Monday straight after the wedding. she gave me some story that her card was cloned and had no money. I contacted the lady who worked with her and she told me that she had been paid her salary and all other expenses of the store were covered. You must understand how hard it becomes after one gets married, any cent one can recover makes a hell of a difference. Jasmin sent me an sms 2 weeks ago saying that the matter would be resolved 2 weeks ago. its 2 after receiving the sms and nothing in my bank account. It makes me so angry when you get conned by people who don't even know your situation. They live their lives and get on with everything and do not respect you enough to give you your money back. As I write this, Jasmin is not taking any calls, sometimes her phones are completely off. I know I will get my money back! The "how" is what I am still strategizing on. She will regret even having a customer like me. Yhu this woman - she is just a fraud. I WANT MY MONEY AND I WANT IT NOW! I have opened a case and the police and looking for her. The minute I get my money back - trust me, I will be writing another review to tell you that I have received money in my account from her. regards, A MAD BLACK WOMAN!!!!!!!!!!!

What i pathetic horrible service I received at house of Couture... They run their business fraudulently, hide the cost involved and they tell you later that you have to pay. I had to later pay for the washing and the dry cleaning of the dress. The owner rudely told me that they are not in the dry cleaning business and it is not her business and she was pregnant when I came.. I don't understand how is it the buyer's fault that the dress is dirty, as this purely part of their marketing cost when different clients come and fit, in the end the dress will be dirty. I am highly disappointed, I didn't think this will be part of my stress as I plan for my wedding.. I am disgusted on how they run business.... Tell the client right upfront, that's how you run the business.

We have paid in full for a dress for my daughters wedding . Paid in September 2017. We are still getting all sorts of wild excuses as to where this dress is and why it’s nots ready. Jasmin finally gave us a shop soiled dress off the floor but still undertaking to get us the dress we ordered. She is not taking calls. Deal with this character at your own risk.

My daughter ordered a wedding dress in April 2017 for her wedding in December 16. The 80% deposited was made then. We were told the order must be in at least 4 months before the wedding. ( we had ample time) in June we were called in for a fitting - we were horrified to see that the entire pattern was not what we had ordered. Jasmin, the owner assured us that all will be fixed in time and that we were lucky to place our order to early. She said that the dress will be ready by October 2017 which will still give her time to make minor adjustments. The dress arrived on the 18 th of December 2017. Jasmin excuse is that ‘i was only 2 days late in delivering the dress’ long story short - we had asked her to refund our deposit R20 000. At first she said she would, it is now March and she has not paid us a cent and is now refusing to take my calls.
