Lets start with the fact that I won a voucher during a quiz night in November and in January I had to ask to receive it, while being accused of lying. Finally receive my voucher and book a table for Valentines night. Confirmed the booking on 13 Feb for 18h00 and when we arrived I was informed that even though I booked and confirmed we do not have a table because they are very busy. After telling them it is unacceptable we got a table after 10min. 15min later we gave an order for 2 milkshakes, calamari and nachos. 50min later the food arrives cold and no milkshake...saying that we should just wait because the restaurant only has one blender. We had no cutlery and when trying to request the waiter we were ignored. My partner then proceeded to walk to the bar counter requesting that we need takeaway boxes as we decided that we would rather go through a drive through at the same mall. We received the boxed and the manager came over and said we should understand they are busy as we can see and that instead of a coffee shake and chocolate shake they made us oreo shakes. We decided to walk out. Went through McDonald's drive through and within 15min we had warm food and 2 milkshakes... No wonder the branch in Parkview in Pretoria east closed within a year after opening.

Tiger’s Milk on Long Street is an unforgettable Cape Town favourite. Awesome food, delicious ****tails, and a vibe that feels like celebration in every bite — it’s easy to see why locals and visitors keep returning. From juicy burgers to happy hour favourites, this place turns every meal into a great memory.

My partner went for a team lunch at this place and came back with food from there. Chicken We ate it but our lives turn to stomach pain and loose tummies after that. It was one hell of a night and a day.

To the Executive Management Team / Life & Brand Portfolio Head Office, I am writing this email to formally express my absolute disgust with the service and subsequent management conduct at Tiger’s Milk Melrose Arch. While I generally find the food to be decent, the level of service I received during my recent visit was utterly unacceptable and has permanently tarnished my view of your entire brand. My initial experience was frustrating enough: dealing with a difficult waiter and waiting over 30 minutes for a single Coke. However, bad service seems to be a systemic rot spreading across your entire portfolio. Having frequented La Parada and Paradiso, I can see that this incompetence is not an isolated incident but a standard operating procedure across your branches. However, the reason for this email is not just the poor service—it is the lack of integrity shown by your management. Following my initial Google review, I was contacted by the Melrose Arch Manager, Robert. He offered a hollow apology and promised to send a voucher as a gesture of goodwill. To be clear: I do not care about the voucher. I would likely never have used it, as I have no intention of returning. It is the principle that matters. Robert has since ghosted me. No email, no voucher, no follow-up. It is one thing to provide bad service; it is entirely another to lie to a customer to silence a complaint and then fail to deliver. This level of deceit is insulting. As a result of this treatment: Review Updated: I have updated my Google review to reflect an even lower rating. I have specifically named Robert in this review to highlight the lack of managerial integrity at this branch. Boycott: I have advised my entire family, my partner’s family, and my circle of friends to avoid Tiger's Milk, La Parada, and Paradiso strictly. Public Exposure: I hold a significant social media presence, averaging over 20,000 views per post. Because you have failed to rectify this privately, I will be taking this narrative public. I will ensure my audience is fully aware of the service standards and the dishonesty I have experienced. Do not have a General Manager call me. I have already dealt with store-level management (Robert), and the result was a lie. I require a call from Upper Management or Head Office only. If you are unable to escalate this to a Director or Regional Operations level, do not waste my time. My contact details are listed below. I expect a prompt response regarding how you intend to address this complete failure of service and integrity. [Your Name] [Your Phone Number]

Tiger's Milk Bar 23 Courtney Road George! Just one hell of a noise. No one can live here anymore. Several complaints of noise disturbance have already been lodged with George Municipality. The Speaker, Executive Mayor and the Deputy Mayor are fully aware of the situation!! Tiger's Milk already received their first warning on Friday night. SAPS and the Municipality will investigate, inspect, visit the premises at any time. Noise by-laws of the Municipality are being definitely violated here. George Municipality will investigate the matter thoroughly. We believe this building does not comply with the adequate soundproofing for this extremely loud music. The sound decibels will be tested by law enforcement at any time! Believe me none of the Tiger Milk's visitors, workers and owners will ever want to live next to this business. The most Property Agencies already take note of this chaotic situation at 23 Courtney Road. If you want to rent or buy stay at least 1km away from this adress. All complaints can be made to the Municipality 044 8016 6300 (all hours) and also SAPS 044 803 4733. It has also been recommended to the Municipality that the Traffic Department/ SAPS patrol the area for all by-law violations and alcohol levels of drivers. The Municipality and the Traffic Department agreed and is urgently working on this recommendation
