Stay away!
Worst service ever. You know its a problem when you know more about the product than the technician does. 530 ktm had electrical start issue, they had so many excuses from the wrong battery to high compression piston. The moment i reported then to KTM South Africa the workshop manager called and informed me they refuse to do any further work on the bike because i was calling BS on the excuses they gave me.

TRAX KTM terrible service
I took my sons 2019 KTM to TRAX KTM. The engine had seized, however they called to say the pistons and rings were fine and that the Conrod needed to be replaced. They gave me a quote for R 20k and I had to pay 70% up front. Only once they received my money did they tell me that they don't have the parts and it will have to be imported which will take 4 weeks. One of the best selling KTM's and a simple gasket has to be imported from Austria?! When I asked them for the part number so I can try to source the part myself they told me I can't.

bad service and added charges when servicing vehicle
Created a Facebook account just to give an overview of the experience that KTM Trax gave me. great service when buying a motorcycle from them. unacceptable customer service when booking in your pride and joy to get serviced, after confirming a quote and asking to be called for any additional charges due to past experiences, then getting charged a whole different amount. After *****ing the amount from the till point, being told to pay and speak to the workshop. additional items used without notification from the mechanic.

Friendly Professional Service
I just want to compliment the guys there at Trax KTM on their service. I've had dealings with them over the last 3 months and every-time I walked away with a smile. I had an issue with my RC8 and they helped me out without a booking and thus secured a sale which might have been lost if they did not assist. Again today, my exhaust was sorted out in record time, and apart from that, I was contacted to hear if an exhaust guard can be fitted as a recommendation to avoid future damage. Shortly after this I was contacted to inform me that my bike was ready for collection. This all transpired in a period of 2 hours, what a pleasure. When I got there the bill was ready and after settling it I found my bike already loaded and tied down. Friendly professional faces all round, well done guys and girls at Trax KTM!

Not interested
Tried to purchase a bike from this lot, first had attitude from the sales person as I'm a credit risk, then their F&I person kept claiming he never received my documents even though I sent it 3 times and received the read receipt from his mail.<br> <br> Business in bike industry is obviously very good especially at KTM as I contacted 3 dealets and got ignored by all of them

Tried to purchase a bike from this lot, first had attitude from the sales person as I'm a credit risk, then their F&I person kept claiming he never received my documents even though I sent it 3 times and received the read receipt from his mail.<br> <br> Business in bike industry is obviously very good especially at KTM as I contacted 3 dealets and got ignored by all of them
