On the 4th March 2026 my lady friend took her car to have both front wheels replaced with new ones. This was done and the car was left with them to do the tyres. Now, not even 3 months later, she had a mechanic check her car who found that both back wheel bearings needed replacing, showed her the wear on the inside of the front driver side wheel. The NEW wheel which was purchased and paid for in March. When speaking to the Rep Andrè about this the following was established 1. He gave clear indication that when they do two tyres they always advise their clients to do wheel alignment as well. This was not the case with this vehicle. 2. He was so adamant that this is common practice that he made the client out to be a **** when she said that she was indeed not advised of this. 3. He went on further to say that even if alignment was done she could have driven through a pothole and that could have also resulted in the misalignment and damage to a new tyre. My personal comment on this is, the after sales service from this company is very poor. Although he continuously said he was trying to help he basically said in no uncertain terms that he was going to do nothing about the issue in any case. It is sad that woman are so easily targeted in this area that it results in additional income for these companies so they do these things deliberately believing for speedy repeat business. This is totally unacceptable behaviour from any service provider.

I am lodging this complaint against Tyres & More (Kempton Park) due to repeated unsafe workmanship and failure to comply with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Section 54 – Right to Quality Service. I was advised by a Tyres & More salesperson to purchase additional front suspension camber/strut bolts at my own cost and was assured they would be installed correctly by the branch. Since the initial work: I have had to return the vehicle twice The same clapping/clunking noise from the front right suspension continues Wheel alignment repeatedly goes out shortly after repairs I was informed on one visit that the bolts were not properly fastened I was later assured locknuts were fitted, yet the issue returned again within a week Incorrectly installed or loose suspension bolts are a serious safety concern and can result in loss of steering control or component failure. Despite multiple opportunities to correct the problem, the issue remains unresolved. This constitutes a failure to provide services with reasonable care, skill, and safety as required under Section 54 of the CPA. I have requested a refund of the labour charges so that the vehicle can be repaired by a competent and reputable workshop, as I no longer have confidence in the workmanship provided by this branch. Should this matter not be resolved satisfactorily, I will escalate the complaint to the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa (MIOSA) and, if necessary, the National Consumer Commission (NCC). This issue should never require multiple return visits, particularly where vehicle safety is involved.

I had the worst experience at tyres and more Jackol creek . Where I purchased a vehicle battery which had a 2 year warranty in 2023 . On the first year the battery was damaged i came first they didn’t want to give me a new battery . They ended up giving me one . They gave me a new one 6 months down the line it’s damaged the mananger is telling me that they is nothing they can do . That means they batteries are **** how do I drive with 2 batteries in a period of such a short time . I am horrified by the quality of they products and management!!!!!!!!

Appalling service. Stephan calling a customer a **** which is serious, deformation of character. No customer service! Refuse to rectify their mess up. Will not recommend this company Stay well away, go to opposition!!!
