Please read very carefully before purchasing your next vehicle. I have written a few complaints about the Unitrans Group of which I must say, been a little optimistic when the CEO got involved and Group Dealer Principle. In anticipation for my matter to be resolved after purchasing 2 x accident vehicles which were never disclosed. The one vehicle gets bought back and on the other hand as a client I get told I have intensive experience in checking damaged cars so I should have checked it properly before purchasing. My question is if I am paying a retail price for a car why should I do the due diligence? This is the reason I went to dealership in the first place as you pay for that service. Funny enough this has happened to myself and a few people I know. Not all with Unitrans but the dealers are taking advantage of the consumers. CPA regulations state clearly that any or all accidents must be disclosed to the consumer. This protects the consumer as so many vehicles are purchased from auction houses or salvage yards then rebuild and sold at full retail. Kindly comment on this review if you or someone close to you ever had a similar bad experience. Share on all social media platforms. A 6 pack of your favorite beverage for every successful lead. A few days a go I published an experience I have had with Unitrans Motors VW Tulisa Park and WIlliam Hunt Randburg. I must say in this current climate where business is so tough out there I would have expected a call from someone senior to attend to my grievance, Rather I get called by the sales Manager who over the last week tries to convince me to sell the car back to them about R5k above trade value. Questions I had. When will your Dealer Principle Call me Who can I speak to from Head Office. I need my query to be resolved as I wanted to purchase a new car and the bank finance would not go through unless the current vehicle was settled. I am buying double insurance for a car I am not using and have not place in my garage for it which now means it must stand outside. The car I wanted to purchase was a surprise for my wifes birthday coming up in September. The Sales Manager whom I dealt with since about 2015 at another dealership assured me that he had a few buyers on the car around R129 000. This would get my settlement done and they could make a small margin on the deal. I was happy with that. Funny enough from Monday it became Tuesday and till today nothing has happened. I then requested to speak to the Dealer Principle Neville from Unitrans. Wow from a customer experience and satisfaction point of view I would rate his level of arrogance so high as if I had to beg for this to be resolved. All he kept talking about was depreciation on use of motor vehicle and he kept speaking over me. Disgusting behavior from a DP who I would send for immediate Customer Service Training. CPA regulation state clearly customers are to be made aware of any accident history on the car. As a client I was only notified of the slight spray work on the left hand side door and scuff marks that needed to be repaired. I said fair enough however I had an offer of R106 400 from Inspectar Cars Gezina through the awesome service of Weelee so honor that agreement and lets call it a day. He had an audience in the room with him and had me on loud speaker so rather decided to show me what a big man he could be disrespecting my intelligence and insulting me. Funny enough my wife and a 3rd party heard the entire conversation. I calmed myself down and called back to set the tone in a better manner. I did come across a lot more hostile as my frustration got the better of me. My strong suggestion do not ever purchase a car from Tulisa Park. Sales experience is brilliant, sell you the moon and the stars. After sales you become worse then a dog and let me tell you I love animals. When I purchased the car there was some irregularities which Roshan singh tried to attend to. battery was faulty, (sorted) car was scratch on the left side, (still not fixed) Vehicle mats were of the poorest condition (promised new ones never received) Car was not serviced, it then got serviced at Tulisa park but I cannot find any history of this on system or in the book as a stamp so now the car does not have full serivce history. (Messaged Ricky for months to get this, to Date nothing has come forward) Computer box bracket broken ( had to cable tie it so it did not fall and break) I Paid R105 000 plus on the road fees of R4900 and loaded R20 000 from my Passat. Craziest part of it all I also paid R45 000 out of my credit card to settle my passat from Williams Hunt who bought it back from me for R230 000. I had purchased it for R320 000 2 years prior. When attempting to trade in I discovered It was in a full smash front and sides, Complete non disclosure. I have all my email trails and pictures as well as as communication with the DPs, Offers from the buyers who rejected the cars after seen them. I am absolutely disgusted by this. I rather suggest purchasing a car from any other group of companies. Please be extra careful. There are cheaper damaged cars in Alexandra and Wynberg which get disclosed to you on purchased. These are bought from salvage yards and repaired to make an honest living.

Good Day I would like to make it very clear that any individual planning to purchase a car from the Unitrans group please read this and be extra careful and cautious. Best get an independent person to check the car first. From 2017 to current I have bought 2 cars from two different dealers which fall under the group. Upon trying to sell the car I discovered both vehicles were smashed and repaired with no disclosure to myself as the client. I was embarrassed when trying to resell my cars to other dealers as they said they will not take it from me or offered me ridiculous prices like my car was a code 3 or stolen. Over the last 10 years I have changed my vehicles approximately every 12 to 24 months and further have extensive experience in the Motor Industry. From all the dealers I used I will avoid Unitrans at any extent possible. Absolutely disgusted by this service considering the CPA rules and regulations and my rights as a consumer relating to disclosure. I paid full book on both cars. Might as well gone to buy a smashed car and repaired it myself, Please be extra careful!!!

Bought Opel Corsa 1.4 Enjoy on 28/08/2019 which started giving me problems on 06/09/2019. To date (18/12/2019) i have been stuck 5 times on the road. The car just stops in the middle of the road and not respond to the accelerator. Precious Mashile of Unitrans and Williams Hunt Edenvale have been unhelpful, i was once promised courtesy car and they later changed their minds. It seems like they have their special clients whom they give Courtesy cars. i was stuck on the road today on my way to work and they are not willing to help. Williams Hunt Edenvale worked on car twice but fail to diagnose problem. Never buy this product the service of Unitrans is very bad, things were good under GM Motors

1. I purchased a golf clubsport Gti on the 15th of February 2019 from the Vw Glen Johannesburg. 2. I asked for a written letter from the used car Sales Manager ( Francois Branders ) regarding the paint work done on the car. Signed By Francois. 3. In the letter it said only the front bumper was resprayed a week later i took the car for an inspection To AA Dekra Durban. Found out that the bonnet and front panels where also resprayed as the pictures show the bad paint work done on a limited edition Golf Gti. This as depreciated the value of the car. 4. Non-disclosure at that time. Reported the matter within 7 days. 5. MFC ( Christopher Coetzee - Service Resolution Specialist) arranged a conference call between myself and Francois Branders in March 2019. We can to an agreement that Vw will sort out the bad paintwork done on the car. The bonnet and Front two panels was resprayed to blend in with the front bumper being resprayed very poorly. 6. In good faith I believed that the paintwork will be sorted out as your’ll are part of the Unitrans group. 7. I have taken off from work. Taken the car to Vw Weiss (Cindy Chetty) in Durban at least 5 times. Taken the car too the Panelbeater’s that Cindy asked me to go too. Which was time consuming. 8. Yesterday I contacted the panel shop in Durban and was told that Vw Glen are only prepared to pay for the front bumper to be resprayed. The agreement on the conference call with MFC and Mr Francois was to sort out the bad paintwork done by you’ll. As the bonnet, two front panels was resprayed to blend in with the bumper being sprayed. 9. Also when the front two panels was removed the water bottle was damaged it actually shows the poor workmen-ship the panel shop you’ll used. 10. The bad paintwork done at you’ll panel shop in johannesburg has depreciated the value of my car. 11. I also reported this issue within the 7 days of purchased with reports and pictures taken at a AA Durban. I have been given the run around for the last 7months also believing you’ll with keep too your word. As I believed that Vw Glen with have keep the word as per the conference call with MFC and sorted the bad paintworkMy car still hasn’t been sorted out. I with like a honest solution to this issue has it has gone on for months. What are you’ll doing to sort out the bad paintwork done by your panel shop. I with like too say this has been a nightmare of an experienced buying a car from johannesburg. After sales has been terrible from your sales team. After this experience I realized that Vw Glen will do anything just too get a sale even lie too customers. Kind regards Sumen

A family member recently had a bad accident involving an Opel Corsa. Sadly, while the car is a write off not a single airbag in the vehicle deployed! I tried to make contact with Unitrans asking for the contact details of a director of the company for me to talk to them about this only to receive a totally unsympathetic, mechanical reply from the company! It is clear the company does not have any interest in a potential serious problem with their vehicle safety so I feel it is my duty to advise other potential clients to be cautions about buying an Opel as it may well not save you in the event of an accident

I've just bought a brand new car for the first time ever, from East Rand Toyota. I dealt with Suzette Branders and Tumi Bodipe. They had to hold my hand every step of the way and explain everything, which they both did with a smile. From start to finish the service was impeccable, there is nothing that I could even offer constructive criticism on, the experience was incredible! My Aygo is beyond expectations, cannot believe that I get to drive something so cute and so fancy. Well done to everyone involved, I am the happiest a customer could be!
